  1. Um, there are none, that's the point I was making. How is HHH being as detrimental to the company, the cancer you all claim he is when no one he is holding down is worth a damn? HHH himself isn't even worth anything. He suffers in the same manner as the rest of the roster, bad booking and bad storylines, fortunately he has been on top so long it does not effect him as much. And you people continue to ignore my main point, no matter how much HHH holds down this "up and coming star" or this "OMG~! DID YOU HEAR THOSE POPS AND SEE THAT MINOR RISE IN RATINGS LEAVE THE TITLE ON HIM FOREVER~!!!!!!" smark favorite, it does not matter anyways as eventually their momentum would be cut off by the WWE management. Smackdown stars are far away from HHH's usual level of high influence and the show is an absolute mess of stop-start pushes and abandoned storylines. Raise your hand if you think Mark Henry will be relevant in six months, no matter how much he improves? Do you think MNM will have any lasting impact on the show? What about current Rumble winner Mysterio? Even WWE's boy Orton isn't immune. Look at the debacle that was the Orton/UT feud. Orton's heat has evaporated into nothing because of that, and the WWE is totally behind this guy! It's all HHH did this, and HHH uses his pull to get that, but in the grand scheme of things none of that matters. It will only matter when someone, say RVD, has a beautifully booked 8 month world title reign and HHH comes out and squashes him in a one minute match, then I'll join your crusade. But right now, the way the WWE works, the champion could probably lose by interference from Mama Benjamin, or some other wacky, comedic way. It's quite possible and that's more of a threat to the survival of the company than HHH, at this time anyways.

  3. Success? Edge bossted the ratings for two or three weeks and it's a success?! Oh me oh my. You know, a guy named Kane used to also do that and I don't see people clamoring for him to have the WWE title. Ratings boosts do not determine if something is successful or not. There has to be a consistency, and with Edge, there is none. His title run was aborted, yes, so we may never get to know if he would have led the WWE into the glory days of 6 and 7 ratings with his live sex shows featuring his Herpes Whore Lita. However, you cannot deny that Edge has been in the main event scene or very close to it for some time and um, last I checked, the WWE is just as lame and shitty as ever. In the grand scheme of things, HHH can bury whichever superstar he wants because if he doesn't, the WWE will bungle whatever momentum they would have gained anyways. When HHH starts the burial of Steve Austin and Rock level stars, I'll hop on your rusting HHHate Bandwagon. However, he is so called "burying" people like Edge who is on shaky footing anyways and up until a few weeks ago receiving the same amount of crowd reaction as Carlito Cool. You all can piss and moan about HHH and come up with your witty slogans all you wish, but it is Vince McMahon and the WWE creative who really need to shoulder the blame. Vince lays out things the way HE wants them and changes things he does not want. It's his company and his way or the highway. And the creative team, they are lacking in everything needed for the creation of creative and interesting storylines. But who knows, maybe they're not, maybe they are playing to the whims of McMahon. Maybe McMahon is so hung up on HHH and Cena that Hunter sees no point in telling him to back off. Why? HHH is still making millions if the company is suffering or not. They are not going to go out of business anytime soon, so why should HHH risk his spot telling Vince to do something he may disagree with? Why fall out of favor with the boss? And that's who it all comes back to, the boss, Vince McMahon.
  4. I agree. How could he do such a heinous thing to a stand up guy like Edge?! I mean, Edge would never stab any of his friends in the back in such a manner. I am dissapointed that HHH would do something that could potentially ruin the life and career of a fellow superstar, let alone friend! Edge, the great savior of RAW, Edge, he would never do such a thing! Parish the thought!
  5. What, what the hell is this? Why are they doing this? You have Orlando finally do something interesting in his career by standing up to Booker T and his hoodrat wife only to turn him gay. GAY?! He just turned face and now you're turning him gay? It's hard enough for a black wrestler to get over, but a GAY black wrestler? Can anyone give me some background on this gimmick change because since no one quoted this tidbit it is obviously old news I missed out on.
  6. Whoa whoa whoa whoa WHOA, hold on a second, I must have missed the boat; when the hell did everyone start liking, let alone feel sympathetic for, of all people, Edge? You know, "heatless since the whole Matt Hardy feud, girlfriend stealing, slimy, repulsive Edge?" Yes, I must have missed the memo where he became a smark matyr. His title reign lasted a karmariffic three weeks and of those 21 odd days, 20 of them you all spent complaining about the guy. Wow, Cena must REALLY be that bad. And how the hell did HHH get dragged into all of this? I guess you all must have missed your HHH hate quota so it's time to ramp it up. But I love the fact that Cena is champ again, I mean, he's lame as hell yes, but Edge. I mean, before he won the title, he was a heatless loser. Most of the initial markout moment you all experienced when he won the title was the relief that someone but Cena had it and how he won the title, which is more of a credit to creative than Edge himself. Well, let me just say, this could not have happened to a nicer guy. "I'm not going to be some transitional champion." - Edge
  7. It's quite easy to compare black supremacy and white supremacy and come to the conclusion that they are basically from the same egg as both are death on the ears. However, if you analyze, you shall see there are vast differences that make black supremacy more palatiable to mainstream America. First of all; black leaders cater to downtrodden, poor, uneducated, and oft times lazy blacks, easy pickings for their rhetoric. The black rhetoric your average black supremacist uses his akin to giving a mentally handicapped child a gold star, a lollipop, and saying "good job" for sitting there and shitting their diaper all day. I think it's harmless to yell platitudes and slogans to rally people who are most often to lazy, ignorant, and distracted to take up the call anyways. Thus, black supremacy is annoying, yet harmless. It's easy to overlook media whores such as Jackson and Sharpton who are in bed with "da eeeevil~! white man's" money anyways. Plus, we have heroic figures such as MLK and to a lesser extent Malcolm X on our side. Most white supremacists expouse the values of Hitler, call for the killing of Jews, Niggers, Spics, etc, hold some pretty crazy conspiracy theories that would even make Kanye West blush, and march around in chic though politically incorrect Nazi regelia. If white supremacy has any values worth noting, they are overshadowed by the Jerry Springer circus it has become.
  8. Actually, Vince's character is quite consistent in relation to the rest of the WWE.
  9. Wow, this is a tad odd. TSM has a substantial hate for one conservative windbag who is only subliminally racist, but yet has a supreme hard on for one who is crazy and blatantly racist? Hmm, I'm liking the way we keep things consistent around here. But seriously, is it because she is a sub average white chick that she gets a pass? Or is it that she's an Amazon Russian? I wonder if she has that accent? God, I HATE women with Russian accents. They sound like Euro-trash tranvestites. But seriously people, this is kind of why certain segments of the internet get a bad reputation. You have a basic looking white girl getting attention like she's someone beautiful instead of actually giving attention to someone who's say, oh, I don't know good looking. But hey, maybe that's me and my wierd taste. Or, maybe it's because I'm black and I only prowl (should I even use that term as a black man, oh, it doesn't matter, I'm a white washed Republican anyways) for the best looking white tail so I guess that's the reason I'm not intrigued by some Slav whore that would hang outside of the local GOP Country Club trying to hang with the big boys. And since we're racists up in this bitch; a hardy Heil Hitler~ to you all courtesy of my executed namesake. Toodles.
  10. Some (late) thoughts: Overall a pretty addictive game once you turn it on, still it has a lot of issues; -The AI is cheap. For Rumbles it's hard to throw people over the top rope even after doing a hard Irish Whip from while a few feet from the ropes. -I can punch at an AI opponent three times and not score a hit but they can grapple and beat me down, WTF? -Irish whip system is bullocks as is the control system in general. I've missed crucial pins because my CAW decides not to drag his opponent but pin him while he is on the ropes! -Throwing your sucky CAW into the main events with little EXP makes them easy fodder for guys like HHH. -Creating stables and tag teams are cool, but I was expecting that to factor into the storyline. I created Evolution with my CAW, HHH, Benjamin, and Masters. I started story mode and what do you know, there is a storyline that involves three out of four of my guys. I thought it was revolutionary that they crafted a storyline to show how my stable came together until I found out it was a pre-determined story that had nothing to do with my stable. Dissapointing it was. -I hate RAW strory mode where I have to go against HHH at WM. You get punked out too much. SD storylines are much better. I like how you can be a HEEL and not have to save Eugene's retarded ass or stand up for morals and decency. You have a choice, or more of them. -My CAW walked funny until I realized his legs were too long and muscular. -Not enough CAW outfits, what if I wanted to be a Nazi? -Not enough entrance music. They should have used music currently not in use. I know they have legends music, but some of the best music is from mid-carders like Billy and Chuck. That said Orlando Jordan has the best music and entrance and I borrowed it wholesale for my CAW. -They should develop a titantron for you as you progress in the game. Just piece togehter highlights from your matches and storylines. Would have been a nice extra touch. Overall, the game is good though and I played for like 6 hours last night. Voice 5 is PERFECT for my CAW and whoever did the VA work is splendid. I unlocked unlimited experience points and now my CAW runs through the competition (on easy). Overall I give it a 7 out of 10.
  11. What exactly was the original Mankind character? I'd have to imagine he was far different from the socko sporting, lovable goofball Mankind?
  12. I don't know about that. I'd say there's a lot of people who don't even have 10% of that amount in savings. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't even have $13 in savings and most people I know are in my shoes, even those with so called "good jobs," they just spend beyond their means.
  13. That's because the creative team never used the winners properly. They always featured them heavily in the post show hype and then sent them off to OVW and brought them back in almost totally meaningless roles with participation in a bad angle here or there thrown in for good measure. The fact that Maven was the best utilized of all TE names to be called up is a testament to the total lack of brainpower within the WWE. Maven could be a virile upper midcarder now, but instead they bungled his face run and then screwed up a long anticipated heel turn which could have seen him hone his craft under the masters HHH and Flair, but instead he was dicking around with Eugene and Simon Dean. What a waste, especially since he was showing lots of potential as a heel.
  14. Long timer posters never really leave a message board unless they die, become disabled, or just lose the internet. They'll come back eventually, just to bask in that glow of nostalgic recognition.
  15. Remember when they were starting an angle where Puder was smarmy and cocky after he won tough Enough? I believe he even dissed one of the nameless divas and used the line, "She only wanted me for my money." Ha, indeed.
  16. Eugene Levy is sooooo 2003, and should only stick to minor supporting roles, and Samuel L. was obviously just looking for a paycheck here.
  17. Nobody mentioned how badly "The Man" bombed. The premise did look horribly bad though, like a parody of a movie you see in one of those films about the movie industry.
  18. People at Wal-Mart laughed at it. But there's no room for these sort of comedies anymore, they've been done so many times and better at that. Plus, these days there are plenty of smarter, funnier sitcoms to watch, who needs dreck like this? Though, I do wonder how Married w/ Children would have done had it been released in this era.
  19. Ah, the "as a black male" defense. "I can say anything stupid, and racist as long as I say I am a member of the race I am insulting". Lets just say, assuming that you are a black male, calling people uneducated ghetto black trash because they have a different opinion than yours makes you the uneducated black trash. So black people are "savages and loathsome oppurtunists" huh? Why don't you back that statement up you ignorant fuck instead of just spewing off bullshit. Of course you will come up with this one time blacks did blah blah balh and that makes them savages. Of course, you can point out a time whites did the same thing, but that was just those white people...they aren't savages. Its this simple, people are people. There are no actions that are exclusive to any race. Any time that opportunity rises, some people will take the opportunity to take advantage. The vast majority will not. Every year that some sports team wins a championship, mostly white crowds take to the street to celebrate, and a small percentage destroy property and a smaller percentage loot. Every year. At least 3-4 times. This doesn't mean that white people are savages and opportunistic, it means that some people are fucking assholes. Plain and simple. The media has been portraying it in a different light. To say that Kanye was just airing previous beliefs in his rant, are you suggesting that prior to Katrina, Kanye felt blacks were being portrayed as looters and whites as finders in the hurricane hit areas? That he felt the military was "coming to kill us" before the Hurricane? He made allot of statements and closed it off with the "Bush doesn't care about Black people" thing. All previous points were valid, or at very least were arguable. And if you can't see that, you are still the ignorant bitch in this scenario. Here is a nice little tidbit. I can say with a certain amount of certainty that I am smarter than you, I am more educated than you, and make a nice amount of money and my neighborhood can be considered anything but the ghetto and I think the government doesn't care about black people, and I can justify my reasoning. Personally I think they would be idiots to care about black people. So basically what I am saying, you being a black male or not...you are a goddamn idiot who's opinion means shit until you back it up. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aaaah, poor baby, did I make you mad? The truth hurts Ripper. I was born and raised in the ghetto. I've seen how those people act first hand. Most (particularly the youth) are ignorant, racist, paranoid, uneducated, drug abusing, beligerant garbage. Those are the facts. Let me ask you a question Ripper, the exhaulted head of Public Relations for the Black Race, would you take a stroll down your average black neighborhood at 3am in the morning with nothing to fear? Could you? Is that even possible? I know I would not walk down a street in 9th Ward New Orleans at 3am, lest I have a death wish. But, you know I could take a leisurely stroll in the Hamptons with nothing to fear but some flashlight cop in a golf cart. I want you to ponder why that is. Get back to me on that, k sweetie. As far as Kanye West goes, he disliked Bush and of course the government long before this whole fiasco. Like I stated before, he just used the devestation of Katrina as a way to say the same old tired garbage you could hear in any run down neighborhood. People at my school have been saying those things about Bush and the government for years now, so why is Kanye West some sort of hero or visionary? You know, if he really wanted to help his people out, he would be down there wading in waist deep water, pulling his people out of their attics, giving money out of HIS pockets, and perhaps even selling some of that bling he's got. In fact, if he really cared about black people, as he claims Bush does not, why has he not ben helping all of this time, you know, BEFORE the storm. I'm poor and black, help me out Kanye. I mean, the government gives me assistance for school, even though the head of the government does not care about me (alot of logic there right), so Kanye, buddy, leader of the black people, buy me some books. Oh yes, I forgot, Kanye is nothing more than a filthy attention whore out to exploit an ignorant population of poor minorities and put himself over. You see Ripper, at the end of the day, Kanye West will still despise George Bush, as will millions of poor blacks. Here's the difference though; the government will still be giving assitance to these millions whilst Kanye will be living in some lilly white neighborhood, diamonds in his ear, not lifting a finger for "his people." Just the way it is Rip. Ya feel me, g? Oh yes, try to be a civil black man and refrain from the cursing. I know us black males are stereotyped as angry and all that good stuff, but please, you know how we hate stereotypes, so, don't add feul to the fire. K, Ripsky. Thanks buddy.
  20. The discussion may be dead as far as Kanye West goes, but here is one viewpoint that I have not seen anybody bring to the forefront... Kanye West obviously felt this way about the government and George W. Bush BEFORE this natural catastrophe occured. The reason why many feel Kanye was unjustified for his insipid rant his because he exploited this tragedy to vent political views he had held long before Katrina and the delayed government response. I'm pretty sure Kanye felt George Bush did not care about black people before all of this death and despair, but he used a national venue trying to relieve the victims to spout years old political leanings. He went on TV and said what every uneducated, ghetto trash black person has been saying for years and even before Bush was in office (as far as the government goes) and he is all of a sudden a hero? Give me a break. Oh, and being a black male myself, I've never needed the media to potray black people as savages and loathesome oppurtunists out for ripe plunder, hell, all I've had to do was step outside. All, go into detail about that some other time though.
  21. And what show are you watching? Masters got a very sizeable reaction everytime he was on the mic or in front of the crowd. He is quite over whether you chose to acknowledge that or not.
  22. What has MNM done on screen that have made them so worthy of the praise they receive? I'd just like to know.
  23. Why is every character in the WWE so generic? When a hint of character begins to shine through, such as with Jericho and his "too hot for wrestling schitck" it is unceremoniously dropped and he goes back to being a generic cocky heel consorting with other heels he hated just a few weeks/months earlier. This flaw in creative character scripting also hurts potentially good programs because the fans are so conditioned to perceive heels and faces as cut and dry stereotypical caricatures. Even people here are conditioned this way, thus despite Shawn obviously being a heel, people think he is trying to remain a face because he's not beating you over the head with the fact that he is a heel and that's why people are not booing him. I do not think this what the WWE was going for, making Shawn the face and Hogan the heel. They are not smart enough to have actually planned things out in such a manner.
  24. *Sigh* And I recall all of the fools in this folder clamoring for WWE to capitalize on this situation and turn it into a "money" storyline, whilst at the same time complaining about the "creative" team screwing up basic generic heel vs generic face storylines. I mean, did any of you actually think that the WWE would handle this story properly? It's too complicated. They should have just transferred all of Matt's real life angst into Kane's storyline angst and made him a contender beating Edge and Lita senselessly instead of being a whipping boy for Edge (who is losing heat again, surprise surprise) so Edge can remain strong for Matt Hardy who will be relegated to the abyss once this whole storyline is over anyway. Then Edge shall go on being generic 80's heel #2, Lita generic heel slut type 3A, and Kane goes on another cool but eventually pointless heel tear.
  25. Yes, just as funny as the moral obligation you have to feel sorry for all of those screwed over by HHH, JBL, Undertaker etc. etc.
