I just got a DVD player for Christmas last year. It's a piece of crap, though. Made by Digix Media Inc. (I never heard of them either) I just sent it in for replacement two weeks ago. If the new one sucks ass, I'll send it back for a refund and get a better one.

On the split national championship scenario: This could have played out two years ago. Remember the controversy with Miami, Nebraska, Oregon, and, to a lesser extent, Colorado? I thought Oregon should've been in the title game, but Nebraska got in. It's not unreasonable to think that if Nebraska had won, the writers would've put Oregon at #1, as I believe they were #2 in the poll.

I totally agree about Rupert and Burton/Lil. Rupert was so far ahead of everyone else. The only person left that I care about is Christa. You can't go wrong with a hot computer programmer.
