I really don't think enough actors care that a guy's dad banned Pete Rose. I think Woody Paige was trying to tie some sort of sports connection around all this. I personally have never seen Heathers but I know people said Mean Girls is this generation's Heathers. The director of Mean Girls' brother did Heathers too. The original script by Tina Fey was much darker and was headed for an R but she understandbly had to clean it up. I think Tina should've been able to write something better then Lindsay Lohan's inner monologue when she talks about facing Carolyn Kraft in the Mathlete thing but that's my only real complaint about the movie.

WCW!!!! but they completely dropped the ball on it. I don't agree with LooneyTune often but he's absolutely right on some accounts like the WCW Titles being defended thing. Having about 1000 titles floating around and changing every week was horrible and caused all the titles to lose a bit of prestige and become watered down

They can win in the regular season but it's the playoffs where the bullpen seems to come undone. And Smues is right about blaming Gary Hitler Sheffield. I hate him to this day for his performances in 2002 and 2003 playoffs. And Curbed- do us Braves fans have the same right? :-)

I don't know why they gave Resuckma a new deal. What sucks about 2002 is had Glavine not decided to pitch his two worst games- they could've gone pretty far. The middle relief should've been upgraded but I think they have enough faith in the starting pitching and closer

Usual Suspects is an ensemble while Collateral is Foxx and Cruise. Foxx and Cruise were both lead actors. I think it was a shady thing for the people to do and he didn't deserve the nomination anyway

Murray plays very hard to get. Sofia Coppola tried for a ridiciously long time to get him to do Lost. He's very picky and very demanding- I think he has an inflated self worth of himself. Where was this during Larger then Life? Plus there were the reports of clashing on Charlie's Angels- he's never really come off as a nice guy. He could've looked gracious or applauded rather then looking like his life was over. Agreed with Yuna on the boy who played Peter- he was good

Cappellan wasn't very good on Atlanta, Dan Kolb was good on Milwaukee and who knows what Leo Mazonne can get out of him? They got rid of Ortiz and have a much better rotation then they did last year- which was one of the tops in baseball. Losing Drew sucks but the Braves will have a healthy Marcus Giles back and I think Brian Jordan and Raul Mondesi could be effective replacements. I think Jordan is happy about getting the chance to rejuvinate his career, Mondesi I'm not so sure. The Braves also have a deep farm system of outfielders they want to to out. Smoltz has been throwing great stuff the past few years, I don't think his effectiveness will die out just because he's starting. They fielded a much worse team last year and still run away with the title. Until they're not the division champs- don't bet against them. Damn you Orioles- Delgado was right there!

I don't think it was Oscar worthy and I would've banged my head upon a desk if Tina did get a nod. (Tina did get a WGA nod for the movie) I do seriously think Tim Meadows at least should've been considering for stealing the show in Mean Girls.

Not a chance. The Braves came in last year with what on paper looked like a shit roster and still managed to win by 10 games. This offseason they've only gotten better. Delgado's a good player but he's not going to put the Fish over the top of anything. I don't want the Braves streak to end, and I really don't want it to end against the fucking Marlins

Given that they were on the 2 and it seemed like the Patriots had done a good job of stopping the run- I don't think they would've scored. Better to take 3 then get stuffed at the end zone and kill any momentum.

I liked Napoleon Dynamite but it was basically a bunch of skits organised into one movie. Mean Girls was a teen comedy that was smart and appealed to everyone. Until one scene at the end, it didn't really treat its audience like morons like other teen films do. Amanda Seyfried was the hottest and funniest of the girls in that movie. I'd rank Lacey secnd since the 'Stab Caesar' scene had her bringing the awesomeness. Yea I know Anchorman had a lot of improv. Anchorman focused too much on Christina Applegate and at times was too injokey. Still was a funny movie but I think they cut out too much just to sell the DVD. Didn't see Harold and Kumar
