Intercontinental title, cage match: Shawn Michaels v. Marty Jannetty. Marty attacks to start and clotheslines Shawn with his shirt, and Shawn bumps around the ring and tries to climb. Marty pulls him down and Shawn continues bumping like a madman for Marty, who hits a dropkick and a clothesline. He goes for a cover for some reason, but there’s no ref. Shawn stops a trip to the cage and gets his own dropkick to turn the tide. Marty catapults him into the cage, so the ref comes in and counts two. Marty sends Shawn into the cage again, but Shawn manages to trip him up before he can reach the door. Shawn meets the cage again, but now Diesel holds the door closed, preventing Marty from escaping. Shawn takes over blocking duties for himself, and sends Marty into the cage a few times. They slug it out on the mat and Shawn climbs on the other side of the cage, but Marty stops that ascent with a handful of tights, thus fulfilling Shawn’s “show his ass every match” rider in his contract. Shawn grabs a sleeper, drawing the ref back into the ring to check on Marty. Marty sends him into the cage to break and they slug it out, but Marty atomic drops him into the cage. Marty climbs for it and they tussle at the top of the cage, and Marty goes down the hard way. Shawn makes it to the bottom, but Marty grabs the hair to prevent his escape. They fight on top of the cage, and Shawn takes a monster bump from the top via a slam to the mat. Marty makes the easy climb, but Diesel stops him and Shawn crawls out at 13:12. Really hot finish saves it. 3 for 8.

I actually met John Ritter. He was one of those guys who signed autographs for everyone and I even got to say a few words to him. I love the Problem Child movies- Sure they may not be classics- but I always enjoyed them whenenver they came on USA. I also enjoyed Three's Company whenever I used to watch it. Thanks for everything John- You'll be missed

Farewell John Ritter

'Hurt' is one of the most amazing videos I've seen. I enjoyed his music and he just seemed like a really cool guy. RIP Johnny Cash

WWE DVDs do still have extras for the most part. VENGEANCE does not have any extras. There's a difference

::Reads Joe v. Sabin v. AJ v. Briscoe:: You know Zack- it's the damndest thing. I accidentally dropped your Screech autograph in the toilet and then I flushed it

How would you inform people about this ppv if they don't regularly visit the nwa forum already? I know the forums are there for a reason, but I think this is one of those times where it is acceptable. So by your logic- We should post about ROH shows in WWE and TNA folder? We have different folders here for a reason

Pleasantville's bravest. God speed Mr. Gararini.

Waldo once shipped himself to Nebraska so he could be with Maxine at her cheerleading thing

Thank you for pointing out my idiocy

I see your post is edited- I agree with you there Markme. Low Ki v. AJ I had about ****-****1/4. The cage match I had about ****1/4. Raven v. AJ was like ***3/4-****. I still don't see how any sane person could give Ultimate X ****1/4

Any wrestling fan who denies that Benoit v. Angle from the Rumble should be shot. No motherfucking questions asked. Fuck the cage match. Plus I'm not going to pay to watch Douglas or Jarrett anymore. I should be shot because I don't think Angle v. Benoit is the MOTY? (Is that what you mean?) Because there were two matches done this year that I liked more
-
AMW v. XXX, AJ v. Raven and AJ v. Low Ki are my top three TNA matches. London v. Danielson, AJ v. London and London v. Daniels are my top three in ROH. (I'm gonna wait to see 6.28, 7.19 and 8.16 before I judge) Angle v. Benoit, Filthy Animals v. WGTT and Eddy v. Benoit are my top three in WWE

Snafu on one cent show in parts of the country by Dave Meltzer [email protected] We've received reports from several parts of the country tonight from Cox cable subscribers who were informed they would have to pay $9.95 to receive the in Demand PPV advertised for one penny. We don't have more details on this other than it was an apparent communications problem between in Demand and Cox. In most of the markets, most notable being San Diego, there was local advertising out that the show would cost one cent.

Yea- F'n Amazing beat XXX a few weeks before Jarrett v. Raven. I can understand not showing JJ v. Raven since that match- Killed Jarrett Makes Raven look like a bitch a week before a big match
-
That's a shame. I would've done 4 matches over 2 hrs- AJ v. Low Ki/AJ v. Raven/the cage match/Sabin v. Kazarian Two awesome title matches, the cage match and some good X action
-
Well then go watch ROH and spare us your constant bitching. Moron. He paid for the show- he has a right to bitch. Even if it did cost a penny. Hell- people bitch about RAW and SD! I didn't get a chance to see the show due to my lack of TNA access but the show sounded like a great idea- I hope they didn't butcher the hell out of it

I'm trying not to really think about it to be honest with you. Last year was just an awful day as I was just depressed the whole time. This year I'm going to think of the present and the future instead of becoming depressed about the past
-
Whether you agree or not- It's the truth. The Yankees are the most hated team in baseball- and no one cares about the Mets. That's why the Subway Series bombed to the other 99% of the country. If the ChiSox star advancing- You're gonna have 1912 hammered into your skill- I think a series with the two biggest droughters (or Boston) would sell. I mean come on: SOMEONE has to win
-
Considering Goldberg is only in it for the money- I'm sure he could give a shit what kind of wrestling TNA puts on. GB has always had a negative view of TNA since they got Russo
-
I'd like to see how you would handle yourself in this situation.

Bulldog v. Bret Owen v. Bret London v. Am Dragon

The Subway Series was a blast to be a part of. NYC really went all out to make it something special
