I have a 16 year sister who's married. Yeah, married... She got married back in September to an 18 year old who just graduated 3 months before. They had only been going out for 5 months, and then I come home one day in August, and my sis is showing off an engagement ring, and I'm just sitting there thinking "Ok, that was a good joke." Then I hear them talking about when they want to plan the wedding. They were fucking serious? She's 16 fucking years old! She can't do this! Well... my parents allowed it. I have no fucking clue why. They never told me why, but I've got a feeling my sis was willing to run away if they didn't allow it. She's thought about it before. So, with my parents' reluctant blessing, they got married in another county (it was illegal for minors to marry in the county I live in). She now lives with him in a trailer home. She goes to a new school and her hubby makes a living on a loading dock. I still think she was too young for that. My parents do too... but they are like "oh well". Ok TSM... let's say your my parents in 2004 when my sister told ya she wants to get married. What do you say? How do you react? What do ya do about the aftermath?
