The Reds have found quite a lot of motivation as of late. They realize they CAN win this division with the way the Cards are playing. And hey... as long as it gets Ken Griffey Jr. back in the spotlight, I'm all for it. I really hope the guy reaches 700 homers before it's said and done. Don't know if that'll be a stretch though.

I thought Memphis just made out like bandits. They gave away a nice backup in Shane Battier... to get Rudy Gay, a man who was thought by some to be the #1 pick for a while. Throw in Kyle Lowry and I think Memphis and getting back Stromile Swift (who I've always liked for some reason) and I think Jerry West did a good job here. This team may be able to run up and down the court now with Phoenix and Dallas (I didn't say they were better, I just think they can keep up the pace). Now let's see if we can win ONE playoff game this coming year.
