  1. I got an old DVD they put out of this, and I liked the Zelda cartoons better. I still plan to Netflix both, though
  2. You're an idiot. I've never said a mean word about you to this point, I simply saw a series, I suppose, of posts that are nothing like the posts I normally see you make and found it odd. No need to be mean about it, Leena. I thought you were a decent poster up until now.
  3. What in the heck happened here?
  4. Thank god! Seriously, he tried to destroy his legacy by renouncing what made him famous: tag team wrestling. And while it may be true that Hawk was not always in the best shape as his partner, you don't say that kind of thing just for heel heat Orton was wrong too, but Animal and Hawk were close as a couple of guys can be it seemed from the DVD. I really hope this little run is one of those convieniently forgotten things in WWE history.
  5. I remember watching Pieces of April(that's the movie where she has a black boyfriend and a mom with breast cancer, right?) and thinking Katie Hlmes was a girl with a big future in frnt of her if she wanted....now she's Tom Cruise's wife during his very nuttiest period.
  6. Only 2K and 1st party developers can make MLB games, so it's not as nasty as the NFL deal, but Microsoft didn't have a strong baseball game as I recall
  7. Apparently, he never listened to the minister. Actually, I heard the McMahons are conservative. They most definately are, but you don't have to be religious to be conservative
  8. Ever read Reilly: Ace of Spies? This guy during World War I, I believe, who was basically king of spies, and was basically one of the inspirations for Bond. "James Bond is just a piece of nonsense I dreamed up. He's not a Sidney Reilly, you know!" - Ian Fleming No, I hadn't, but thank you for the reccomendation. I'll have to check that out at some point. By the way, while I have a a post to use, what do people think of Tom Clancy? I used to read his stuff, loved Rainbow Six to death, but I haven't read him in a while and I've never heard anyone's opinion on him other than the folks who appear on his covers.
  9. I'm not too crazy about the new classroom stuff. I don't want a football game to turn into The Sims. I'm guessing the NCAA asked them to put that in as a good PR move.
  10. Masked Man of Mystery

    Pop/Punk

I like Jimmy Eat World, if that counts
  11. I am not gay, nor do I have a problem with them. I never made any reccomendations about manga or such, so call them an outside influence on my reading habits. Chill out, dude.
  12. I don't read a lot of high end stuff, honestly, I find it harder and harder to read a legtimate all text book these days when I have the 'net constantly and good manga and such. But I am ever so slowly working through the Pillars of Creation by Terry Goodkind, which is good as far as I'm concerned, and I have a ton of stuff on my bookshelf, enough to keep me busy for years on end. I don't read much non fiction, I prefer sci fi, usually Star Wars or Star Trek, but I prefer Star Wars these days. Only the stuff set in the original trilogy setting, though. I will give one recomendation: give Casino Royale a shot. I think it shows how Bond became the Bond we know and sometimes love.
  13. That's very harsh, and I don't even smoke the stuff. I mean, we don't do that for coke, do we?
  14. Mania and King of the Ring had good, if not great undercards
  15. I just picked it up today for $2 at EB and I was stunned there were no tag matches
  16. I LOVE early 2000 because Austin wasn't in the main event stinking up things with his horrible match formula. I also have to note that I have been watching a large amount of 2002 PPVs and it was a good wrestling year, if not a good angle one
  17. Would you or somene else care to explain these two? I know very little about rappers. I thought Doom was just a weirdo in a mask
  18. They're only considered contractors for tax and travel expense purposes. They're called independant contractors when it's convinient, like when people talk about them getting health care and such, but when they want to enforce the dress code, well, that's a differant story, they're WWE "Superstars"(because God forbid we call them wrestlers) and of course, whether or not RVD is in a dress shirt or whatever the rules are, I don't remember, really reflects on the company and nothing like Vince trying to have Marty Janetty kiss his behind impacts what people think of wrestling</sarcasm>
  19. Torrie Wilson/Dawn Marie. Or any Torrie feud, for that matter, she should never wrestle again. She's a natural manager, I cannot see why she isn't getting behind some plucky babyface or the airhead hanging with a heel(Masters perhaps?)
  20. I know it's a weapon shot, but I remember that Bradshaw hit one of the Mean Street Posse so hard the chair was deeply imprinted with his head, it was just....wow.....
  21. I'm still working through the show, but I would just like to make sure people notice this because I've seen it a few times in recent weeks. His name is Otaku, not Okatu. I'm not upset, I just don't like when people screw it up.
  22. Is that the thing with no music beside what is being naturally produced on the site, no extra lighting, and no formal sets? Like Italian for Beginners?
  23. They'll probably use Benoit in a surrogate Hart spot, if anything, possibly managing Harry
  24. Trips was also having nice TV matches with undercarders who were supposed to job, but he let them get int some offense, especially Al Snow, who had more near falls than anyone in one match, I think. Wish I could remember the time frame though
  25. Revenge was by far the best WCW game, but Mayhem could be sorta fun if you were willing to play by it's flow and it's like a buck now if someone wanted to give it a try
