  1. Good luck, man, hope you come back soon
  2. I'll have a segment
  3. Could you please clarify that a tad?
  4. Good to hear. I hope you still have it looked at for safety though.
  5. I voted for Trips, purely on wrestling, which is largely what I'm concerned with. Say what you will about the Pedigree, it looks a lot more legit than Cena's God awful standing fireman's carry. I'd like him that much more if he did a proper Death Valley Driver. Oh, and I have seen Cena in OVW and UPW. I think Cornette had the right idea keeping him in a tag team, but the remark he makes about Cena being better than Sting at the same point in their careers(it's in the smart commentary on the Future Superstars of Wrestling DVD) is a little crazy, but maybe he cut loose more in OVW in matches not seen on that DVD
  6. I think it's the Catholic/Christian way of sorta fasting. It's very strange and never made much sense to me either. Lent is supposed to represent the 40 days the Son spent in the desert, I think. My whatever you want to call it is very rusty
  7. I think it also just depends on where and how bad it is, my mother was hardly fit when she had her stroke, but she made it through. Since someone was looking for more information on strokes here's the American Stroke Association's site. http://www.strokeassociation.org/ I also hope the stroke jokes in General Chat end
  8. I....wow...I didn't think he would die. I mean, my mom pulled through her stroke... God, this sucks. I'm a Red Sox fan, but I can't deny his greatness and I have this card of him that's one of my favorites. It's an illustration of him with a fuse on his bat. I can't find a picture of it though, nor do I have a scanner handy. R.I.P.
  9. Thats....news to me, it's one of the few things I still do as a Catholic....do you happen to know where I could look that up?
  10. I should also note I love fried clams, but I don't know if you can eat them under the Lent rules. Also, while I'm on the subject, do only Catholics do the Lent with no meat on Fridays or do other denominations do it as well?
  11. Y'know, I grew up watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Darkwing Duck, the Power Rangers, Duck Tales, Chip 'N Dale's Rescue Rangers, Tiny Toons, Looney Tunes, and a few years later, Hercules and Xena. I have never sliced anyone with a katana, shot anyone with a gas gun, used a battle ax on a person, jumped into a pile of money, stolen cheese from someone's sandwhich, caused a gigantic tidal wave, dropped an anvil on someone, or ran anyone through with a sword, or throw a discus sorta thingy[chakra?] at someone's throat. I did try chili because of Sonic the Hedgehog though
  12. I think I know who Matt's new tag partner should be... Heck, if the OAOAST can have the New, New Midnight Express, WWE can have the New, New Rockers, right?
  13. Minor stroke... My mom had a stroke at night and didn't know until she woke up and fell trying to get to the bathroom. That was a scary, scary day. I think you'd feel it on your entire right side though. Haven't you gone to a doctor yet?
  14. My bad, then
  15. Very cool show, with the seriously beyond awesome debate, much kudos
  16. Aren't Tiger Mask and Black Tiger supposed to be mortal enemies? At least, I know Eddie was made Black Tiger II so Tiger mask IV could have him to vanquish, as I understand it
  17. Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris from Return of the Dragon, also just about every fight in Hero, and the drum game in House of Flying Daggers(if you want to call it a fight, it's certainly uses sleeve-fu)
  18. He came to Rebellion, I believe, in 2002 or 2003 as a special guest, so England's cool with him.
  19. I'm seriously trying to figure out what's sillier, the new Grateful Dead online show trading policy or the RIAA and MPAA(or whatever the movie thing is called)'s policies. It's like they want to tick people off
  20. On the Best of Confidential DVD, they show footage of Orton's grandfather from way back when. It wasn't great, but it was watchable
  21. Can't help ya with straight mp3s, but I know of midi and SNES music files on the net
  22. My friend dropped his iPod outside my home (well, a little down the street) on a gravely road during a drunken escapade, and we found it the next day, after a rainfall, still in working order. While we're on the subject, is there such a thing as an mp3 player with decent storage capacity that doesn't cost a few hundred dollars? Depends on your definition of decent storage
  23. I stick to tuna fish myself
  24. From what I saw on the OVW DVD from a couple of years back, Rico might've been able to carry a more serious gimmick, but he did the gay guy thing so very well and made me and my dad chuckle enough that I don't mind.
  25. I'm not dense, I just don't know who that singer is.
