  1. Does anyone else like to listen to the game on the radio? I'm taping the game anyways, so the commercial thing doesn't bother me.
  2. TD PATS!!!!
  3. Add Ultimo/Funaki and I'd be happy.
  4. Isn't a Dragon suplex the same thing as a full nelson suplex?
  5. Well, this makes sense. Mideon was the fake Mankind last time(I believe this was in Foley Is Good). Ahnd for clarification, I hearby suggest that we refer to the new Pyschosis as Pyschosis II, even if that isn't his official name.
  6. I voted for Spiderman myself. He's just always been my favorite superhero. I personallyt can't believe the old Zelda show hasn't gotten any love. They could put the whole thing on one DVD, and I'd happily buy it. The two Zelda shows on the Mario DVD were the primary reason I gfot it(beside sheer nostalgia)
  7. I think, and it's been stated before, that the rap that gets pushed is the gangsta style that I cannot stand. Gangsta also has some bad stereotypes that emerge and whatnot because they say things that few, if any other types of music express. I mean, the first tape I had that I can say I really liked and still like today is Still Crusin' by the Beach Boys. Let's face it, going from the Beach Boys to Eminem is a huge jump, and what he sings about(or supposedly does) ain't what I listen to music to hear.
  8. Excuse my stupidity, but they show in the comics(at least in the documentary on the DVD) that she got run through, whihc the movie does exactly, to the point of it not going through the backj of her shirt. HOW in the name of God can she come back?
  9. I would say The Rock with the one that began "IF YA SMELL...WHAT THE ROCK...IS COOKIN!" I don't much like his current one. Cactus Jack's WWF theme just fits him like a glove for me, as did Dude Love's even if its the total wrong era. Another is Hurricane, as long as he keeps the gimmick
  10. It's way too early for a real Cena DVD. I'd rather they do something else, like maybe a best of Ultimo DVD since they apparently feel that Ultimo's wrestling days are behind him just like Ric nFlair. Whoops, sorry about that, this the WWE where they make the Twilight Zone seem logical
  11. The blurring bothered me, but it makes me realise just how nutso WWF was about sticking their logo everywhere. Seriously, I don't think any other promotion puts their logo on as much stuff in the arena. Some of the editing seemed like it was really poorly done, and wrestlers end up getting blurred where they didn't have to be if they were a bit more careful about where to place the blur.
  12. He'll shave his vface but not his back and chest. Oh yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Now he looks even worse.
  13. Good to see Kidman there, even if he didn't win
  14. I liked Spider-man myself. I haven't gotten around to the X Men films though.
  15. Thanks, Steviekick. I actually got the first issue of The Man Without Fear in a 3 comics for $1 or something at a convinience store. It looks good. Do you know if they printed it in book form, or will I have to track down individual mags?
  16. Okay, I know that this is a relatively old movie and if I get the Vince's Legdrop treatment, I deserve it, but I just watched this movie and I just wanted to know how close this si to the comics. I've only read the first Essential Daredevil myself, and so I obviously have missed a lot. I know his dad was "Fighting" Joe Murdock, and he got the name because of the kids taunting him, not his dad's boxing nickname, and if memory serves, he got hit with the toxic liquid because of diving after a man, not running from the sight of what his dad did, but after that I can't really say much. They made Foggy a jerk, which I never saw in him, and a lot seems rushed, as if they needed to cut down the movie. I'm posting this here because I'm looking for some help from a comic comparison perspective than a movie perspective. Anyone mind helping me out?
  17. Yes. It's a great. Just as good as some of the classics, IMO. It didn't save Kevin's career though. I'm sorry, but I must've missed this story. What happened to Kevin Costner?
  18. I mark out for masked wrestlers like Hayabusa, Ultimo Dragon, Rey Mysterio Jr., etc., and people sometimes wear masks to remain unknwon, hence Masked Man Of Mystery
  19. Does anyone know if Open Range is a good western?
  20. $15
  21. I think the least credible threat to the title ever was Gillberg when he fought HHH during Hunter's awesome run with the title in 2000 or so
  22. At the XPW show Exit the Sandman, I absolutely cringed when Alterboy Luke when flying off the scaffold and went through the merch table. No other cushioning. And then, to top that, Supreme picks up the Hardcore Homo Angel and hits something very close to the World's Strongest Slam off the same scaffold through another set of tables, and pretty much killed the poor kid.
  23. Cena's finisher doesn't have half the coolness of Ultimo's WWE finisher(did they ever come up with a name for that?) and Linda is not rhat bad. AT least, unlike the other McMahons, when she comes out you know something big is going down, and she has a reason for being out there(nowadays, that is). And I can't believe that more people hate Hulk Hogan than Nathan Jones. At least Hogan can generate some heat and wrestle without self destructing.
  24. Uh..yeah, this is the United States, one big huge hypocite, and I must admit I'm one myself to some extent. Frankly, though, WHY NOT JUST BLEEP IT? Even live broadcasts are somewhat delayed, I believe, to allow for things like this to be bleeped. Then no big deal, right? I could go on and on about the problems with this country, but I don't feel like incurring any more conservative wrath than I already have, so I'll leave it here.
  25. I would hope they'd add some new footage, or maybe work on a new documentary, because the wrestling world has changed quite a bit.
