  1. I find it funny naiwf is telling Cubs fans to chill out when it was him who went "OH NOES WE MUST SWEEP PADRES IF WE WANT A CHANCE AT THE POSTSEASON!".... in April.
  2. Alf- Skiles was complaining about a call and Walker told him to stop whining, causing Skiles to go "You whine all the time", then Walker said something and Skiles told him to shut the fuck up, causing Walker to go off on him with profanities.
  3. Bulls completely gave up after the first quarter tonight. It's just as well that Miami advanced. The Bulls, after Game 5 and tonight would have been completely embarrassed the next round. Next year they should look into finding a real good center to counter the small guys.
  4. I give up trying to figure out what the fuck the Bears are doing here.
  5. We do not need more corners. We just signed Ricky Manning Jr for god's sake. Add that to Charles Tillman and Nate Vasher, where does that leave both Danieal Manning and Devin Hester? You know I was real afraid that the Bears would end up taking Marcedes Lewis, but this is much worse. Hester better become a great safety opposite Mike Brown and the Bears take Martin Nance or Mike Hass with the next pick or Hester better become a WR himself.
  6. One thing I hate about having a single-track minded coach like Lovie Smith is the fact we're returning just about everyone except Jerry Azumah (no big loss there), and what do we do with the first 4 picks? Draft CB, CB, DT (I thought the second CB drafted was a stupid ass move, but this one took the cake), then an OLB (Jesus!). Nevermind that our offense is what held us back from a great run at the title, we must go DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE!
  7. All I can say is I'm glad Houston isn't taking Bush.
  8. Ok here's the deal, I need buddies to play certain games with. Madden 06: my handle is SD Slash, so if anyone wanna play Madden 06 with me, look for me there and let me know you're a TSMer or whatever. I think I will be there quite a lot. MLB 06-The Show: Cannonslash, see above. NBA Live 05: Haven't set up an account yet, but will do so soon. Info will be posted here shortly. Really, anyone with any of those games and online capabilities on the PS2, please drop a line in any of those respective game lobbies and challenge/beat Porter.
  9. I guess I'm back momentarily. I just came to post that picture and to post the next blog entry that I hope will be taken advantage of. I don't really want to post on the boards.
  10. I knew something would go down today while on my break, so I come to check, and lookie, it happened. Rudo, the difference between my two posts and your soup crap is my two posts are just that, two posts. If anyone doesn't understand that they are two joke posts in a crappy thread, then I don't know what to tell you. What did you expect me to say? I had a discussion with you about Randy Orton's suspension, that's as far as it can really go. So fucking what if I mentioned Melina's gap in her teeth? You on the other hand, have the smarm to go in threads and go "Eh this topic sucks. Let's talk about soup!" which is a lot worse than anything I've done, besides the college football threads and the stuff with EHME, which I agree I needed to stop. And Black Lushus did nothing wrong there either. And if you really cared so much about soup or cereal, how come you haven't made any contributions in the appropriate folder for that, the Food folder? Clearly it's an attempt to troll. Just go jerk off to MMA or something.
  11. I'm going to take a break from the board indefinitely. Later dudes.
  12. Yes because cabbageboy knows what things should be in pro wrestling. A PPV opener is the first match, the match to OPEN the show. They asked for the BEST PPV opener. You can't get any better than a ***** rated match like Bret/Owen. It set the tone for the show. It made the fans excited for what would follow. You cannot disqualify them just because the later matches sucked worse.
  13. Yes they are accurate.
  14. When Franco hit that HR, I laughed so hard that my wife, a Padres fan, told me I wasn't getting any tonight.
  15. Luckily my wife let me smoke weed while she was pregnant, but once that kid popped out, the party was over.
  16. The most I'd have at one point is one ounce and it was of the cheap variety. I've never really liked having huge quantities of it. Plus now that I have kids, spending even 100 dollars on it seems a bit ridiculous when it should be spent on diapers and all.
  17. I stopped reading there.
  18. It's a possibility. Actually, a likelihood. Lovie is a defensive minded coach, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him think that the OLB spot needs addressing and with the WR class being as weak as it is, yeah it could happen. Though if a defensive player was taken, I see it being a safety moreso than a LB. Maybe they will hope that Briggs changes his mind. I sure do.
  19. Well I just have to look at my kids, and know it's the right change. I miss it, sure, but I've started to get to the point that I couldn't care less about it anymore (the pot, that is).
  20. You asked for the best PPV opener. You cannot disqualify matches just because they were the best match on the card. That's just dumb. Like someone said, WMX also had the ladder match, so it's not like Bret/Owen went on first and no one cared about the rest.
  21. The NFL Draft: This event has become a yearly tradition for me to watch. I know that it drags on with all that time limit often being taken advantage of to the final minute, but it's fun to see what the future of the NFL might look like with those rookies putting on their new team's cap and jersey. For me personally, I keep a watchful eye on the Chicago Bears' selections. This year I ask for one thing and only one thing... actually two. 1. Pick an offensive receiver, please? Pretty please? 2. NOT MERCEDES LEWIS. The Bears' defense is pretty nasty as it is, and I don't really know of any spots except maybe the other safety position not held by Mike Brown, that needs filling. The offense, however? Absolute ass. They showed a spark of what their offense could be in their final couple games with Rex Grossman, as they actually showed that they had a passing game. Imagine if they balanced it out, with Thomas Jones hopefully being as good or better than last year running and Grossman passing the ball to Muhammad/Berrian/Gage/etc. Mark Bradley's return can only serve good. I honestly don't think the Bears need to replace their incumbent TE that badly. Yeah Desmond Clark doesn't strike fear in people's hearts but so what? He grabs the necessary balls. This year's TE class is pretty weak IMO, there's no standout TE (except for Vernon Davis, who is going to be stupidly taken in the top 10), since Lewis and Pope and the rest don't exactly inspire confidence in me. Hey what about that UCONN basketball dude? If he follows the footsteps of Gates/Gonzo, that can only be good for the Bears. I can easily see Grossman establishing a rapport with a big athletic TE that acts like he's grabbing rebounds than passes. What the Bears should do with their first pick is grab a WR. Yes, a WR. Why not Derek Hagan or Sinorice Moss? Muhsin Muhammad isn't going to be around forever and Justin Gage doesn't seem to be that gamebreaker that people hoped, so grab a WR and hopefully 1 or 2 of their WRs would emerge as the franchise receivers that the QB needs.
  22. Well this entry is kinda pointless now. It's locked. Thanks for the people who commented, even that silly Ortonsault.
  23. I only edited it as to not come off as a jackass about it. I honestly think the Bulls are better than people give them credit for. I was kidding about them winning the East, and they are most likely a first round exit, but I can see them easily winning a game or two vs the Heat. Granted, everything must go right their way. Also to dispel any thoughts, I am not a Chargers fan. I'm employed by them, thus I must pay them some attention, but in no way do I honestly care about them. The Bears? Oh yeah, those shots hurt...
  24. I think there was some issues with Mercedes in the combine that might have turned them a slightly bit off.
