New England's linebacker core is ravaged right now. They are going to need a very good draft to find guys who can step up and make the plays Willie could. Times like this I wish the Patriots had trading strength to get up and grab Hawk. Still confident but damn, the linebacker core looks old and tired now. Willie wasn't exactly young, but he was a huge pass rusher when they needed him.

Here's a question: How BAD can security constantly be at CTU? The place seems easier to get into than Ball State. This season alone about anyone has been able to just walk into the building with the security guy at the desk going, "alright, whatever". Even with the minor annoyances such as that and the Palmer's death out of the news like it was a weather report, I love the stuff this show does by killing off the characters who have run their course. And the Edgar death was a pain but obvious since he was in the Sara Gilbert spot of doom that the nerds not named Chloe fill on the show. And something tells me this is all just going to end up tying back around to the original plot about a bunch of "Patriots" looking to do what was best for the USA by hitting the country with terrorist strikes. I hope not, I hope it's a lot more complicated. Hell, I'd love if the season ends with it all being revealed that Jack Bauer WAS behind everything and Henderson was actually the good guy. Evil Jack would be a great season, it just would.

Ozzfest sounds worse than ever. AX7 is good for me on some tours like Warped but not Ozzfest and no way do they justify the special surprise guest tag. That's like saying special grammy performance by Larry the Cable Guy. I like Lacuna Coil but no way in hell do they OR System of a Down belong on Ozzfest anymore. System of a Down left the metal loop awhile back. This is one incredibly weak Ozzfest line-up but I expected things to tank out on some bands after last year's little issues near the end that just seemed to knock the tour down in the eyes of a lot of bands.

I like the chances of all of those teams if they play how they are capable of playing. Texas and UCLA do not impress me, they may impress others but nothing about them impresses me at all. The thing with this tournament is, none of these games are cut and dry. Not even the 1/16 games are cut and dry.
