  1. So much for Lousiville being the "chosen one", if this is an indication
  2. Randy Orton - "The Future of the Business"
  3. Wenn ist das Nunstück git und Slotermeyer? Ja! Beiherhund das Oder die Flipperwaldt gersput.
  4. For me, "Approximate" and "Dupree's Paradise" wear out their welcome significantly short of their total running time, and since those two comprise a little over half the CD, I would pretty much steer clear of the CD as a whole if it wasn't for "Whipping Floss" (the lone high point of the CD). Not to mention that he criminally cut short "Big Swifty" at the end. The problem I thinik most people had with Vol 3 was that most of the songs were from the '84 tour, which a lot of Zappa fans hate because of Alan Zavod and his synth get-up. On the other hand, the '84 tour was his strongest vocally, with Ike Willis, Ray White and Bobby Martin singing some killer harmonies
  5. Mmm, blasphemy
  6. Fap fap fap
  7. I just find it funny that EHMS is taking it personally that a lot of people haven't heard of the guy Sorry we can't all be phat and stupid and poppin' fresh
  8. If I haven't seen it, it's new to me
  9. Storing bodies isn't good?
  10. Hey Inc, which would be worse? Running into the faceless girl at Chick-fil-A, or running into Netslob at Chick-fil-A?
  11. Ironically enough, that was also the only year that no 1 seeds made the FF
  12. See also: Williams, Roy Which he's showing now by falling behind early to Nova
  13. The original thread, just for the fuck of it
  14. Yea, but its funny. No... it's not
  15. I would wanna see the Easter Bunny unleash some mad kung-fu on a kid like that
  16. It's a shame that Santana's "best" song will forever be associated with this loser
  17. Fanta (and Fanta Girls) I know the soda's been around for a while, but I've never actually seen any where I live
  18. Every rapper rips off every other rapper It's scientific fact
  19. One time when I was walking out of Best Buy, I saw a 10 y/o kid go up to one of those 25-cent toy machines that they have with the gumball dispensers and say, with his redneck accent, "Ah've got to get mah bling bling!" While this is true, there have been a couple of times when someone has made me laugh while drinking and I wind up choking on my soda and coughing it back out onto the floor... and usually it's Ripper's fault Ripper - making Slayer cough up his soda since 2004
  20. I thought your name was Mulva
  21. If there's anything I hate with comics it's when they trail off after the punch line with a few extra words that add nothing and really take away from the delivery Jay Leno is extremely guilty of this (as a notable example)
  22. Exist? The song gave me a bit of a chuckle, but the actual stand-up bits made me cringe
  23. They look a lot different in that Maxim pic than in the commercial Granted in the commercial, they were dressed in campy 60's getups, but that was a lot of the appeal (to me anyway)
  24. My favorite CDs are hard to say. My top selection five years ago is not the same as three years ago is not the same as even a year ago, so I rifled through my CD collection (600+), thinking about what CDs I've always come back to time and time again, no matter what the genre, or what mood I may be in. Metal Children of Bodom - Hatebreeder Death - Symbolic Fates Warning - Parallels Judas Priest - Defenders of the Faith Judas Priest - Painkiller My Dying Bride - Turn Loose the Swans Nevermore - Nevermore Paradise Lost - Draconian Times Savatage - Streets Virgin Steele - Marriage of Heaven and Hell Part I Non-Metal (excluding Zappa) Arena - The Visitor IQ - Subterranea King Crimson - Absent Lovers Marillion - The Thieving Magpie Marillion - Made Again Peter Gabriel - Plays Live Zappa Broadway the Hard Way Jazz From Hell Joe's Garage Shiek Yerbouti You Are What You Is I would say the YCDTOSA series, but with 182 songs on 12 CDs, you're going to have some big gaps of quality in there. There are some CDs which are fairly flawless from beginning to end though (Vol 2 Disc 1, Vol 4 Disc 2 and Vol 5 Disc 2 specifically)
