  1. I see nothing but red X action here
  2. Callahan is to Gruden as Switzer was to Johnson
  3. Since it's on my prospective purchase list (for PC), I'd also like to hear thoughts and opinions on it
  4. That would definitely be sweet
  5. You dare doubt my metalheadedness? I already own those CDs. The only DT CDs I do not own are the last two (TOT and SDOIT, which I'd also like input on)
  6. You talking to me? Either way, I sold it because 1)most of the really games being made for the PS2 were being released for PC anyway (like Vice City) and 2)the PS2 exclusive games just weren't grabbing my fancy With my TV and PC in two separate rooms, a choice had to be made, and I decided just to concentrate solely on PC gaming, hence I sold off all my console stuff
  7. I bought and sold my PS2 within a six month time period (not because of hardware issues though) so I never got the chance to see if this is true However, my best friend still has his first-day-launch PS2 and it works just fine. Hell, we just spent many an hour in the last week playing SC2 with no problems (except when he fights cheap)
  8. bada-BUMP Didn't want to make a new thread about this, but tomorrow I'm going shopping to redeem my Xmas gift certificates. I heard "As I Am" on a hard rock station while driving down to Texas, and was a bit surprised when the guy said it was DT, but I d/led the song later on and it grew on me, so I want to know how the rest of the TOT album is.
  9. Cool Unless you're a Hogan fan, there wasn't anything cool about this match. It is cool in the "train wreck" sense Especially since that began the construction of WCW's casket

    Lamejournal..

Ex-LJer here. I did the thing for two years and had some fun times, but I deleted it because I just wasn't updating it due to business and lack of interest It is a nice way for me to keep track of friends (and enemies) though
  11. <insert "one and the same" joke here>
  12. So he goes from coaching today's criminals to tomorrow's criminals? Nice lateral move
  13. Aren't those the same thing?
  14. Think small, Mr. Block
  15. I think Block stole it and is trying to distract Hoff from the real issue

A basic 4-point play is when a player gets fouled while hitting a 2 pt shot, then proceeds to nail his subsequent two free throws The specific play in question I believe refers to Larry Johnson against the Pacers in the '99 Eastern Conf Finals, but I've never seen it (that was the spring/summer I lacked a TV), so someone else would have to explain why it was bogus A 4-point play is when you're fouled after making a 3-pointer and then hitting the FT. Goddamn basketball rules I'm going back to football
  17. A percentage of Dames' operating costs?
  18. Exchange it for some foreign currency?

  20. Tribute to Dick Schultz?
  21. In the eyes of this Vikings fan, that, combined with the inexplicable game from two Sundays ago, is enough to turn Arizona from an easily ignored franchise to a giant bullseye in the desert..
  22. She'd have the attitude down pat, which is the important trait. Agreed And thinking about Breckin Meyer, I can't really see him as Jon either. Jon's supposed to be a lovable loser, not resident hunk
  23. And speaking of which, I can't wait to see that coaching rivalry revived, though it'll feel quite different with Parcells leading the Cowboys instead of the Giants this time around

Also: Living right next to Missouri, and knowing many fans there, this, combined with the infamous kick-ball against Nebraska in '97 (itself a controversy) has lead Missouri to believe it has a small curse of its own
