I was thinking that he was in with the Cheerleader's father and that gang (whoever they are). The Cheerleader scenes at the end were worth every cliche rape attempt. That was the first "oh shit" moment for me from this show.

Okay, I can't be the only one who thought that this movie completely falls apart right? I mean the last half an hour was a complete trainwreck, IMO. The acting was incredible and the dialogue great, but the script had no direction for the last part. Ruined what would have been a great movie for me.

I think that they just do stuff like that to keep the fans so intense about the show. I don't think that he could have been Jack's patient with how long the others have to have been on the island. My biggest fear right now for the show is that they go and make the Others like the people in the "Village".

It's a lot easier to keep up on a smaller board when you aren't online all the time. I usually will post here and then come back a day later and the topics have moved on. With a smaller board you don't get that, which I think is why some of us like that.

I think that Sawyer getting zapped with enough electricity to make him fly 10 feet across the cage and just shaking it off was a little more unbelievable.

By the way, was that Kevin Spacey in the opening scene? The guy Juliet was arguing with before the crash.

Yeah, I really liked the episode. Of course the beginning was awesome. I do hope that at somepoint they explain the reasons for the Others disguising themselves and they damn well better show how they have all of the background information on the Losties. I liked the Jack backstory last night, but agree that it's enough of Jack for awhile. At least it gave him a little depth and more of a dark side and a bit more of an understanding why he felt he needed to go to Sydney to get his dad.

I agree with Metal Maniac on this one. Also, I still like "the Saga Begins" a little bit more than this one.
