I got my copy at 12:46 AM. Woohoo, NFL superstar. Played a game against a friend, Eagles 33 Pats 30. Really like the look and play so far. That NFL Superstar looks like it'll take days just to learn how to do everything.

It's the 11th hour, but anyone have an idea of stores that might have this is ya didn't reserve it? Just thinking about buying it now.

Sorry double post... Phantasm made an effort but I think Tall Man is out of balls.

Shaun is more of a horror film than Dead Alive, IMO, if you're going by the humor thing. Shaun's strengths comes from its cast, and the way the script allows humor to be included. I think the major weakness of Dead Alive, for instance, is how the entire movie is based on ridiculous situations (the karate kicking priest, the funeral, the stupid baby carriage, zombies fucking, mom hit by trolley, just...everything). Dead Alive LOSES the feel of a horror picture by the time the lawnmower scene rolls up. Shaun always has those feelings of upcoming dread, and manages to keep stuff pretty serious (Shaun's horror at Ed being bitten, etc.) while throwing in extremely well-written dialogue. Shaun is amazing, and just because it came out in 2004 doesn't mean it should be critiqued as any less good a movie than Chainsaw. Chainsaw and Shaun are both AMAZING HORROR FILMS, but two different kinds. Which is better?

20 votes in....wow, some films really came back...and some did a complete nose dive. Good stuff.

I wasn't judging his ability. Just considering him overrated, full of hollow numbers, a stat monkey, and non-clutch. I don't wanna argue about it. I've given reasons for those, and they are my opinion. Maybe he can keep it up and make me happy. They're got 3 with the Brewers, who they play well against, so we'll see. They've got a TOUGH September, though, if they make it to where the games matter.
