Honestly, I was bored by this movie. I am not religious in the least, so I did not have that connection to the movie. The gore was overrated (or maybe I am just desensitized from being a horror fan) and the whole movie consisted of him getting whipped for two hours. I understand the point of the movie was to make you feel what he was going through, but I just stopped caring right around the 100th time he got whipped.

I must say I am shocked that Washington, with all the trading they're doing, have not gone back to Bobby "Maxime Oullett, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round draft picks for Adam Oates sounds fair" Clarke looking to deal.

This show hopped up to 2nd on my all time favorite shows list, behind 24 (which it could never beat due to viewing conditions). There wasn't a minute during any of the episodes where I got the urge to hit the FF button. (And I have the attention span of a 3 year old) I think that the fact there was no main storyline arc was why I loved it. With no major storyline you realize that every storyline is an important one making you want to notice everything. There is no major storyline to use as a crutch, where you can tune out on anything not related to it and not miss anything important. On this, every little thing added up to something whether it be a relationship, character development, or a minor storyline arc. As an aside, I have already told someone they would be borrowing this and watching it as she has borrowed 5 seasons of Buffy and 3 seasons of Angel from me for free, so I am using this as my marker.

I enjoyed the movie. In one of the strangest viewing nights ever I went to see this right after seeing The Passion. I found it funny that the fat guy goes from obnoxious drunk in Super Troopers to the noble, straight man in this one.

Just picked up the set yesterday. Watched through "Out of Gas". Three quick notes: 1. I will echo the Fuck Fox sentiments 2. Fuck you RRR, between this and MMA you are starting to cost me too much fucking money. 3. I marked the fuck out seeing Jewel Staite on my TV again as I had a crush on her ever since Space Cases on Nickolodeon.

I prefer live drafts, but whatever works for you. Any weeknight draft starting up until 9pm or whenever on the weekends works for me.

Can I make one suggestion? A three strikes and your out rule. These AIM drafts can be a bitch to run (I have run a few) and nothing kills it quicker than this exchange: :drafter takes minute: Drafter: Alex Rodriguez :slight pause: B: taken C: already gone D: strike one E: no Drafter: oh shit, give me a sec :lather, rinse, repeat: So if you screw up three times in one pick you lose your pick. Or if you pick a taken guy once in three seperate rounds you lose your pick.

I don't know if the Skins O-line needs to be upgraded that much. They certainly need to play better than last year, but they have talent (especially at the tackles with Samuels and Jansen). Let's see how they play this year when the defense has to respect the run and can't just tee off on the pass rush. Everyone and their mother knew Spurrier wasn't committed to the run, so it is hard for the O-line to play well when the defense doesn't respect you. The Eagles went through the same thing this year. The O-line looked terrible those first couple of games when teams were just teeing off on the rush with no respect for the running game. Once the running game was established, the O-line looked better, because the defense couldn't just go all out pass rush without risking Westbrook gashing them for 60 yards.

Christ on a crutch Harley, you plan quite meticulously. I never plan ahead, because whenever I do I end up missing better quality players. First 6-8 rounds take the best available player at any open position, from then on start filling the roster, then in the last rounds go back to the best player available. That usually works for me.

I normally don't like the 5th spot, but since it is a straight draft I don't mind. 5th sucks in serpentine leagues. Just low enough not to get a top three stud and high enough that your second rounder is lesser quality.

If Rivers doesn't go to the Steelers, I think he ends up as Brett Favre's heir apparent. And if he moves up the draft board, it isn't a Kyle Boller "What the fuck is he being mentioned in the top 10 for" type of deal. He is good enough to be considered in the top tier.
