I am eagerly anticipating the yearly shot of the guy in the green room who was invited but slipped big time and is depressed.

I don't see the Cards picking up Warner. If Green wasn't high enough on McCown, they would probably go QB here. They look like they could be a dangerous offense in a hurry with Boldin, Fitz, and Shipp.

True, but if someone hops up to grab Williams then you end up with Winslow or Taylor as a consolation prize. Taking in a nice haul from Cleveland and ending up with Taylor, Winslow, or the man you really want seems like a good deal to me. Some teams fall in love too much with players. I like Roy Williams too, but there is too much depth in this draft at WR to pass up a deal just to grab one of them.

Donovan McNabb got booed because since the end of the college football season that year, when it was apparent that Couch was going one, a campaign was started to get Ricky Williams. Everybody, including the Mayor of the city, was doing all they could to get Williams. Come draft day Angelo Cataldi of WIP rounded up 30 of his let's say more devoted listeners and sent them up to show support for Williams. When McNabb was announced, those people weren't exactly thrilled. So in conclusion, people are stupid sometimes.

I just always figured the teams had a jersey for each player they were considering since only the top teams few teams do it.

There is no excuse for the Raiders not trading down if Roy Williams is their guy. They can get a nice haul from Cleveland for Gallery. With Zona taking Fitzgerald and I don't see the Giants, Washington, or Detroit going WR so he should still be available.

Why did I know that when I came back on I would see al mention the switch for Burrell? I couldn't believe it. Is the half step that Glanville may be faster worth taking Burrell out in the 7th inning when he'll be up again? It is stuff like his Glanville use and Hernandez use that makes it too easy to pick on Bowa. BTW, I was laughing my ass off the other day when I heard a caller on WIP say that Glanville should be the leadoff hitter, because all he does is get on base. I was going for a good two minutes off that one.

Unless he got a lot better in the last year (admittidely I never watch the ESPN NFL shows anymore) I will still despise him. He doesn't know when to shut up. If he is saying something and someone wants to disagree, he just always grabs their arm and talks over them. It gets ridiculous. Plus as an Eagles fan I hate him.

Fuck, I am going to have to hang myself if Irvin is going to be a part of the draft coverage.

Arizona takes Matt Schaub, QB, Virginia Atlanta is on the clock

Cincy takes Mathias Askew, DT, MSU Is anyone going to be around tonight who just wants to do round 4 in a couple hour stretch, like we did for round 3 last year?

I do check the league every few days. I just usually tend to ignore the first month moves-wise as I have burnt myself in the past overreacting.

I was surprised how tame the game was. I know the Flyers were tentative after the rest and the Leafs were worn, but damn where did the hatred go? Of course now that I say that, this series will turn into what it was last year and whoever wins will be dead for the next series.

Next four picks Cincy - Flyboy Round 4 NYG - Gert T SD - open? Oakland - banky

Kansas City takes Chad Lavalais, DT, LSU Harley is on the clock, followed by Flyboy to end the round

That is what we call the Major League Baseball draft. On another note, the Giants offensive line blows nuts. There is a reason they are considering Robert Gallary. That excuse would be BS.

Vern's time is up. BX is on the clock with Carolina

I missed a brawl?!? FUCK, I hate work.

Ok, independant names, Gotcha

Roger Craig was not on the first Super Bowl team. Their best running back that year was Ricky Patton with 543 yards on the season.
-
I would suggest a lot more use of PMs for round 4 if we want to get it done by the real draft, since we will only have a day and a half. If you see yourself within 4 or 5 picks I would PM someone a list.
