Just saw this on ESPNEWS, the Bronco's will release Maurice Clarett which is very good. He'll probably end up in Canada or something.

I really liked the six-man tonight. I don't know why, it was just cool to watch. It was decent, the Benoit segment was funny and this angle with UPN could be interesting. If they had a stable, who be in it?

Others: Jim McMahon Brad Johnson Spergon Wynn In the Green Era, ten of them started. The amount that the Bears had for QB's starting is baffling: Mike Tomczak Henry Burress Jim Harbaugh Steve Walsh Erik Kramer Dave Krieg Shane Matthews Rick Mirer Cade McNown Jim Miller Kordell Stewart Chad Hutchinson Rex Grossman Craig Krenzel Johnathan Quinn It's just been horrible for Da Bears.

I like it, but they over-do it at time . Castle has always been mature, but sometimes it's nice to see it. Not the over-the-top style that appears at times, but at-least it's better than 90's Punisher where they fucked him up. He hunted demons, was black, and some other stuff. It was just humiliating from the late-70's-to-early 80's Punisher where he just a brute. WBF will always be my favorite, but with Ennis you'll always see some over-the-top stuff.

This warms my heart: http://www.kffl.com/hotw/NFL?page=2 Eagles | City Councilman Wants Rosenhaus Investigated Tue, 16 Aug 2005 13:00:45 -0700 The Philadelphia Inquirer reports a Philadelphia city councilman has sent a letter to the City's Department of Licensing and Inspections requesting an investigation into the business license and tax status of sports agent Drew Rosenhaus, who represents Philadelphia Eagles WR Terrell Owens. Frank DiCicco stated in his letter that "Drew Rosenhaus has earned thousands of dollars on the backs of our beloved Eagles. However, to my knowledge, the City has not earned a penny on the back of Mr. Rosenhaus." According to city code, any individual doing business within the City of Philadelphia must obtain a business privilege license and pay business privilege taxes. Any individual found to have not obtained a license is subject to fines and up to 90 days imprisonment, as well as the payment of all taxes and penalties. They must've gotten rid of it, but this is just great. I hope other teams pull this. I'm going to Green Bay for the weekend.

God, Theisman and those two are very annoying. Back to the game, this is just a complete melt-down. McNabb is getting pressured, especially with that screen pass. I hope that this doesn't mean that they'll give in TO.

For a long time, the Raiders vs Steelers were a very intense rivalry. It ended up hitting it's peek in the 70's when it was just all out warfare between the two games. When I was nine, I went to the 76 AFC Championship game where they beat the Steelers 24-7. It may have been pretty one-sided, but they just fought like wild-men. While Packer's/Bears, Lions, and Vikings are historic, that rivalry will always be my favorite, and best rivalry in football.

NL's Latest Masterpeice National Lampoon could gain some redemption if they tried to make good movies, and not stupid, teen comedies. I'm not saying re-make Animal House, but they ended up making another Christmas Vacation film, and it sucked. I've seen their magazine around here, but's it's a former shell of it's once comedy glory. I'm glad for the good old days of the magazine, Animal House, and other classics.

This whole TO thing just baffles me. The guy's in his early 30's, and wouldn't he learn to mature at all? I was watching a Dallas/49er's game, and whose that guy that hit TO when he did a taunt in the middle of the star? Dallas's last playoff win was against Minnesota in the Wildcard, and got upset by the Panthers. The next year, they lost to rival Arizona Cardinals, in '99 they got trounced by Minnesota, and their last appearance was a wildcard loss to the Panthers in 2003.

I simmed the IQ quiz, acted like an ass during two interviews and I guess that was what did it.

7th Round, Pick 31. I ended up getting traded to the Lions, I then got traded to the Browns. I ended up as a FB, won AFC ROTY, Pro Bowl, and carried the Browns to a 9-7 record and Superbowl.

I'm a huge Giants fan, and was happy with the Manning pick because Collins was getting annoying. I some nice expectations, but with Burress, Barber, Toomer, and Shockey with him I'd like to see a better year.

I'm just watching it because wrestling has been bad, and my usual show isn't on till 10. Good way to kill time, and I want to see how Kyle Orton does. Some of the QB's I think are on the hotseat: Eli Manning: 1-6 as starter, and now has Burress as a threat. Need help from O-Line which nearly killed him. Nearly beat the Steelers, needs to play well. Also has Tiki Barber, and took a brutal beating against the Ravens. Aaron Brooks: Has a great amount of weapons at the helm. Deuce, Horn, and Stallworth. Has great legs, and needs to improve. That's probably the reason they drafted the QB in the 5th. David Carr: Has Davis, Gaffney, Andre Johnson, and also Corey Bradford at his helm. Needs to improve in alot of spots, but won't be benched because of no really good back-up. Other notables: Grossman, Plummer, and Feely.

The HOF game could actually be good, I wanna see if Grossman can work under a new OC. Williams will probably end up starting in the end, and I'm looking foward to how Saban does. Just a quick note: Quite Frankly With Stephen A. Smith is doing lower ratrings than ESPN's 2 eating contests. What QB's do you think are one the hotseat this year? EDIT: Ron Jawrowski is a fucking moron.

Hell, I was just bringing up something that I saw. That is freaking all, there wasn't supposed to be a point, just a neat little fact.

Course not, Mike because that would make sense. I can't believe this, maybe the parents should do their fucking jobs and be parents. Tell them that it's fake, and if you can't do that, you should even be caring for a fucking fish.

I was watching some old NFL Films stuff, and contracts back then were different because they had little clauses in there. Like when Ray Nitschke made an interception, he would get a 50 dollar bonus. Just nice little things that would make the player's work harder. About Williams, I think he still has some gas left in the tank. He'd be a great defensive leader on any team, and would be a coach-in-pads. I was just watching Lost Treasures of NFL Films, and they were showing the Pro Bowl games. Good god, it was 10 times as different then now. They played because of pride, and it was just fun. Now these days, they get to bask in the Hawaii sun, when they had to play in LA for a good amount of the years. It was AFL vs NFL. These days, they just play for the little bonus, and it ain't right. The only time you'd see guys like Unitas, Nitschke, Butkus, Huff, Brown and there not killing each other.

Thursday One-Liners from Pro Football Talk: Giants RB Tiki Barber has bulked up in the offseason. Giants WR Plaxico Burress will miss several days with a strained hip flexor. Packers WR Javon Walker says he has no regrets regarding his holdout that never was. Steelers RB Duce Staley was kept out of practice of Wednesday afternoon due to a little inflammation in his knee. Ravens TE Todd Heap still isn't practicing (but he's earning plenty of interest on that signing bonus). Colts WR Brandon Stokely has separated a shoulder in the Land of the Rising Sun. Fresh from getting a salary increase to $4 million from a team that had no obligation to give him a dime beyond his $2.87 million base pay, DE Richard Seymour says that he wants to retire as a Patriot (we would, too, if they gave us a free $1.13 million). In response to a statement from Steve Young that the Pats have it all "figured out," coach Bill Belichick said: "I wish Steve would come here and tell us what we've figured out. Maybe he could tell us what we need to know. It didn't look to me like we have it figured out. I don't know what he is talking about. I have no idea." Lions WR Mike Williams put the pads on for the first time in 19 months. Agent Michael Huyghue says that Robert Gaddy demanded payment of $250,000 from Pacman Jones. Packers RB Ahman Green, in his contract year, wants to be paid among the top guys at his position (unfortunately for Ahman, he's even older than two elite running backs who can't land long-term deals, Shaun Alexander and Edgerrin James). Jets CB Ray Mickens knows that his chances of winning a starting job are greater if a dude named Ty doesn't join the team. Ravens coach Brian Billick is starting to bristle regarding the absence of WR Mark Clayton. Fins QB Gus Frerotte says that the offense will be throwing the ball down the field a lot in 2005. Fins coach Nick Saban seems to recognize that No. 2 overall pick Ronnie Brown's agent is a-scared that the No. 3 pick, Braylon Edwards, will get a better deal if Brown signs first. Vikings CB Fred Smoot (stiff neck) will make his training camp debut on Monday. T.O. finally talks: "God put me in the situation to go out here and still play the game. That's why I'm here." Four guys are fighting for the right to backup Bills RB Willis McGahee. Fins OT Damion McIntosh is listed as a backup to Vernon Carey and Stockar McDougle. The Milwaukee/Green Bay press continues to write stories about Packers DT Grady Jackson's quest for more coin without recognizing that the team CANNOT increase his 2005 salary because his deal was already re-done once this year. Vikings LB Donatarrious Thomas is beating out Raonall Smith for the starting job on the weak side. Packers OT Brad Bedell injured a hamstring on Wednesday. Minnesota first-round DE Erasmus James has blown his shot at starting at right end via his absence from camp. The Rams are still waiting for first-round OT Alex Barron (if all else fails, they can re-sign Crazy Joe Davola). Bucs coach Jon Gruden gave his team Wednesday afternoon off. Bears G.M. Jerry Angelo doesn't expect to sign a free-agent corner to fill in for Jerry Azumah will he recovers from hip surgery. Vikings CB Ken Irvin says that the presence of Randy Moss in past training camps made the defense better (we wonder just how bad the team's defense would have been over the past five years if Randy hadn't been there to help pull them up to, you know, No. 31). Pic of the day: Oh yeah, if your like the football world before holdouts were as common as an Ahmad Carroll holding call, buy the three disc HOF DVD.

He's a team leader. That's what team leader's do, they are the cornerstone of the franchise. Favre was stating his opinion on Walker, because that's what a team leader does. When Emmit Smith held out, Troy Aikman spoke his mind on it. CC, I don't even watch PTI so how the hell would I know what they did? Everybody has their damn opinion on it, it's like OJ. Didn't we go over this like five pages ago?

I cannot find an article to provide a link, but SportsCenter ran a piece tonight on McNabb calling out Favre over the Walker situation. Basically, McNabb felt Favre should not have gotten involved; he feels it was Walker's business, and Favre was being unprofessional by getting involved and it should've been done in private. I find it ironic that McNabb wants to call out Favre for getting involved in another player's situation. Afterall, isn't that what McNabb is doing by calling out Favre in the media? Seems like a bit of a hypocrite to me. Good god, either McNabb is a idiot or McNabb didn't even think while saying it. With the exception of PHILEDALPHIA reporter Stephen A. Smith, a good amount of the media has ripped the fuck out of McNabb. Woody Paige, Bill Plachske and alot of people are laughing at him. Patrick McEnroe ripped McNabb today while filling in for Jim Rome on ESPN. He said McNabb has no business taking shots at a 3-time MP and a Super Bowl champ - especially when he's come up so small in big games. Couldn't have said it better myself.

The only good thing about summer was that the Kansas City Cheifs would come to Wisconsin for some early summer pratice. It was a small town, but it was cool meeting some of the Cheifs. Anway, anybody see this kid that the Dolphins draft in the supplemental draft completely start weeping after being bitched at by Nick Saban.

Hey I need some help with X-Men Legends. I bought it today and I need to revive my partner. I set it to 80%, so how do I revive him?
-
The thing about the Packer's was that we didn't have good coaches. We couldn't contain guys like Gale Sayers who would just run us over. We couldn't really play D because we didn't have a heart on the team. Yes, Nixon was there when it was called "City Stadium" and about half the size of Lambeau today. Nice to here about Walker, I know that the moment that TO gave in, Walker would cave in. EDIT: Watching who's No. 1 on ESPN Classic, and realized that Jason Whitlock and Bill Plaschke are fucking morons.

Mine, probably Doug Williams. He was alway's over looked as one of the QB's of the 80's, his performance in SB 22 where he just destroyed the Broncos. He is well known for only that performance (first black QB to start and win a Super Bowl) and that's it. He revived the Tampa Bay Bucaneers to a NFC Title-contender in 79 after they were the laughing stock of the NFL. Will always be over looked and that's a damn shame.
