  2. I think WCW had him on a per match contract. If he didn't wrestle, he wouldn't get paid. Dropping in I think was making sure that he'd still be used so he wouldn't leave.
  3. None for me, mostly due to the fact I'm a cop. Which also sucks is that I work for the VICE squad. Which really sucks due to the fact that one time I did get high on LSD though. That was freaking weird man. EDIT: I was a hazing by a bunch of other cops four years ago.
  4. I enjoy them. When the wrestler/manager gets into it and the best was Bobby Hennan with the chants of "Weasel" I remember at a ROH show there was a chant that was: 'Don't Die Paul!" or something like that.
  5. Don't like either. I don'tthink Ralph Nader is in it, so no vote for me. I'd rather write something in like The Masked Avenger or something.
  6. Some people it take's 2-3 months. If you got a guy who is known for going into rehab, maybe 4-6 months. AJ Style's went in and didn't come out for three months. JBL went in for about seven months, and then I released him
  7. Statement: TNA's PPV is pretty much there last stand. They can either shine or bomb. Will people buy a show that is headlined by a former WWE star who became drugged up and sucks vs a guy who is the champ only because he's the bosses son?
  8. Rebuttal: True. They need storylines to make the division look good. All it is spotfests and that's it. They need a true feud to put it on the map. Statement: Putting the title belt on Jeff Hardy will kill off all hope that TNA will improve.
  9. I think they did. Wasn't there gonna be a invasion of WCW in 1994 too? I think this was the show's stuff that happened: WWF @ New York City, NY - Manhattan Center - Feburary 24, 1997 Monday Night Raw - featured in-ring action from the stars of ECW after being invited to Raw the previous week by Jerry Lawler: The New Blackjacks defeated Henry & Phinneas Godwinn when Windham pinned Phinneas following Bradshaw's lariat, even though Phinneas' foot was on the bottom rope during the cover; after the match, the Godwinns hit a Slop Drop on the referee Stevie Richards (w/ Super Nova, the Blue Meanie, & 7-11) pinned Little Guido following the Stevieknife powerbomb and Stevie Kick; Paul E. Dangerously did guest commentary for the match Marlena defeated Sunny via disqualification in an arm wrestling contest Goldust defeated Savio Vega (w/ the NOD) via disqualification in an impromptu match when Crush interfered; after the bout, Miguel Perez - who had been doing guest commentary for the bout - sent Vega out of the ring with a missile dropkick Taz (w/ Bill Alphonso & Team Taz) defeated Mikey Whipwreck via submission at 3:33 with the Tazmission; late in the bout, Sabu lept off the Raw sign onto Taz' enterage but was soon dragged off by Team Taz; Paul Heyman did guest commentary for the bout (Before They Were Superstars Vol. 2 DVD) The Legion of Doom fought the Headbangers to a double count-out; after the bout, Road Warrior Hawk hit the flying clothesline on one of the Headbangers (LOD's surprise return match after more than a four-year absence) Tommy Dreamer (w/ Beulah) pinned D-Von Dudley (w/ Bubba Ray Dudley) with a DDT onto a steel chair placed inside the ring after Beulah hit a low blow on D-Von after being dragged into the ring; after the bout, the Sandman made the save against the Dudleyz; in a post-match altercation, Paul E. - who did guest commentary for the bout - had to be restrained by the ECW contingent of Taz, the Eliminators, and the Sandman when Dangerously attempted to get at Jerry Lawler at the commentary table The Undertaker defeated Farooq (w/ the NOD) via disqualification when Crush and Savio Vega interfered; after the bout, the Legion of Doom made the save; prior to the match, Farooq had words with Ken Shamrock who was sitting ringside (Shamrock's first appearance on WWF TV) My friend has a tape of this that he's willing to sell me for a couple of dollars. I know it's nostalgic and all but it is it worth it? Cna anybody tell me about what happened in the end with the whole brawl and I remembered a staredown between Sid and Raven. Could anybody tell me waht happened?
  10. Holy crap, online mode is in. But the thing is, does it come with my PS2? Can somebody give some information on what to do? Do I need to buy an adapter and mouthpeice? Thanks all.
  11. The Pink Panther Collection: A Shot In The Deark 9/10 The Pink Panther 10/10 The Pink Panther Strikes Again 10/10 Revenge of The Pink Panther: 9/10 The Trail of The Pink Panther: 10/10 The Return of The Pink Panther: 8/10 It was all worth it, and hoping that the new movie is as good as the original. I don't think Steve Martin can live up to the legacy of physical comedy that Peter Sellers left. No nudity, swearing, violence and yet I laugh my ass off throughout all five movies and it sucks that they didn't include Return. I alway have it on DVD, so I have the complete trilogy.
  12. The Ref ED TV The Pink Panther Collection The Last Castle Ref, ED TV, and Last Castle were all about five bucks and Pink Panther Collection was fifty. It was better than the seventy that Best Buy was asking for.
  13. I like the whole idea of picking match stipulations. BTW, does anybody know when tickets go on sale?
  14. I forgot a few of them. Team Sting wins: Ric Flair will never get a title shot again. The Four Horseman will be automatically dis-banded I think that makes the trade better than before. If they win, who will ge the TV Title belt. That could create tension between The Steiners, Steamboat, and Luger. Which could lead to a heel turn over who doesn't get the belt.
  15. That may happen, or it just may happen right away.
  16. WCW WrestleWar 1991 Card Wargames: The Four Horseman and Big Van Vader vs Sting, Lex Luger, The Steiners, and Ricky Steamboat (If The Horseman win, they get the belts for the following: World Title: Ric Flair, US Title: Barry Windham, US Tag Team Titles: Windham and Eaton. If Team Sting wins they get: TV Title: Arn Anderson) WCW Tag Team Titles: Doom vs Tom Zenk and Brian Pillman The Rock 'n Roll Express vs The Freebirds. A= Arial I= International W= Wrestler (Jushin Liger, Owen Hart, The Pegasus Kid) AIW vs Terry Taylor, Mike Routanda, and Tommy Rich Loser Leaves WCW: Sid vs El Gigante Dan Spivey vs The Junkyard Dog The Debut of Cactus Jack!
  17. Thursday January 24th, 1991 Hosts: Jim Ross and Tony Schiovanoe Opening Match: Big Van Vader defeated The Junkyard Dog at 6:12 with a Pwoerbomb. Not that great of a match between the two. It was mostly a squash match, with Vader destroying the JYD with punches. Harley Race was seen watching the match from the stage and nodded at the end. * El Gigante defeated Master Blaster Steele with the Iron Claw at 4:12. What did you expect? The match was junk, and both men are on my firing list. Me, being the idiot I am: thought they would suck it up and put on a good match. -***** United States Tag Titles Match: The Steiner Brothers wrestled to a 20 Minute Draw with Bobby Eaton and Barry Windham. Bobby had to replace Stan Lane who decided to no-show the match. The match was fantastic in psychology and spots. It was also pretty stiff with Windham and Rick nailing each other withg brutal clothelines. If I get rid of Sid, Eaton will replace him as the fourth man. This had some near falls in it, and Scott nailed some sweet spots including a Frankensteiner, Tilt-A-Whirl slam, and a Steiner Screwdriver. The four men didn't recognize the bell, and kept on fighting. ****3/4 WCW Tag Team Championship Match: Doom defeated Tom Zenk and Brian Pillman at 14:12 when Simmons caught Pillman when he jumped off the top rope into a Spinebuster. Pretty good big man/little man tag match. Doom dominated most of it, until Pillman/Zenk made a comeback. The crowd was starting to heavily cheer for the faces, until Doom won out of nowhere. Zenk/Pillman got a standing ovation for there performance. ***3/4 Debut Match: Ricky Steamboat defeated Sid Vicious at 4:13 with a Crossbody. Bad match, folks. Steamboat couldn't carry this sack of crap to something watchable. Sid didn't sell worth a lick, when he did, it sucked. Steamboat finally beat him, and The Horseman and Bobby Eaton beat Sid down after the match. * WCW United States Title/WCW World Championship Match; Only Sting's belt is on the line. Sting defeated Lex Luger via DQ when Ric Flair and Arn Anderson started to attack Sting at 32:41. Very good match here. There wasn't any carry jobs here, as the crowd loved it. Sting had Luger in The Scorpion Deathlock, when Flair and Anderson ran out. They did a good number on Sting's injured ribs (missed a Guardrail Stinger Splash.) Luger stopped it from getting worse, and cleaned house. Sting got on the mic, and told the two to bring Windham, Eaton, and somebody else to WrestleWar 1991. They will bring three other people for Wargames! It ended with the four staring each other down. ****3/4

  19. Ford Fairlane Backdraft The Road Warrior Suicide Kings I did find Gigli and From Justin to Kelly in the bin too.
  20. Classic Heenan Quotes: "Tito Santana is like a cue-ball. The more you strike him, the more english you get out of him." -- Bobby Heenan Heenan: I KNOW who the Assassin is!!!! Schiavone: Tell us, Bobby, who? Heenan: He's the guy down at ringside wearing the mask! (Refering to the Steiner Brothers) "Three toughest years of their life...the eighth grade" (After Cactus Jack crashes into ringside railing) "You'd better get somebody down here. That rail could be damaged." (In Paris) "Just like Glens Falls for Jim Duggan. They don't speak English there either."
  21. Hogan looked like crap the last time I saw him (VH1 Special) Terry Funk HBK Hart Atlas Windham Vader Dusty Rhodes
  22. Where did Flair beat Sting for the belt in 1991? I don't know if it was a TV Taping, or at a house show? Could I find it on tape anywhere? It would be greatly appreciated, mostly due to the fact I didn't here about it till now.
  23. HA! Lewis would've kicked his ass. Bowe will get killed out there, if he decides to fight a real fighter. Not some cheap fighter, but a real fighter. That guy is past his prime, and it'll last about 1:00 into the first round.
  24. Most internet fan fiction sucks. It's mostly sex and crap like that. There was this one website that had fan fiction, but it was for fantasy feuds. It wasn't gay either. There was Jake Roberts vs Cactus Jack, Rowdy Piper vs Steve Austin, Rick Rude vs Shawn Michaels. That was pretty cool, but it got shut down. The current stuff is pretty bad.
  25. For me its when Hulk's Neck was "broken" by The Giant. It looked so damn bad and corny. It was just funny to watch, as I laughed my ass off. Everything with the Dungeon of Doom was so easy to laugh at, I would just laugh when they came on screen. That, and Double Hump of DOOM~! by The Yeti and Giant to Hogan. Hell, the whole Giant/Hogan HH 95 match is the greatest comedy ever. The build-up, the match (trying to rip Hogan/Andre off), and the ending where all funny.
