Why not? It's not as if they're doing anything useful with Stacy these days.

I've just got to ask which album you have. ...For I as well love Jpop, in all its brutal forms. Other guilty pleasures.. the '80s music I grew up with (Men At Work, Cyndi Lauper, etc.)... Uh, and probably Traffic, since no one I know seems to understand why I listen to aged music constantly. Deep River. I'd like to get more of her work, but import cds aren't cheap. I don't really consider jpop something to feel guilty over - but like I said, I'm more of a hard rock / metal guy, so it looks kind of out of place in my collection. Oh, and don't feel bad about enjoying 80s music. Some of it's actually quite good. Or he's just too stupid to get the name right. Nothing kills that song quicker than when Ludacris start in. Shit, I'd rather have Lil' John.

Nine times out of ten, Bats will beat Supes. The tenth time? He only loses because he wants to lose. Face it, Bats > Supes. Always has been, always will be.

It's the WWE, and I have well over a hundred workers. It's not so bad really - two stables on RAW brand, three on Smackdown. It actually sort of evens out. My WWE Title History: WWE World: HHH Bill Goldberg Kane (current) WWE IC: Christian RVD © WWE Women's: Molly Holly Lita © WWE World Tag Team: La Resistance Booker T / Goldust Randy Orton / Batista Tommy Dreamer / Scott Steiner © WWE Title: Brock Lesnar © WWE U.S. Title: Eddie Guerrero Sean O'Haire © WWE Cruiserweight: Rey Misterio Tajire Rey Misterio Spanky © WWE Tag Team: Los Guerreros World's Greatest Tag Team Los Guerreros WGTT Kidman / Ultimo Dragon © Question for everyone: has anyone experimented with creating their own fantasy fed - i.e. like TEW, a fed consisting of "fantasy" wrestlers of their own creation?

Same thing with O'Haire. They get rid of him for Lawler? BRIAN LAWLER?!?!
-
Joe Styles weighs in on the TNA / ROH situation. He brings up a lot of the same issues I have with ROH - namely, their handling of the Feinstein situation has been laughable at best. I have no confidence or trust in just about anything they say now.
-
Exactly Naibus. If 500 deaths are all that it takes to bowl Americans over, then we really HAVE become a paper-tiger.
-
You know, they should give Johnny Orton's old gimmick, and have him give updates on his injured arm every week.
-
Nitro coming down to the Nitro music RULZ.
-
I'm sure most people are laughing at this. I just find this sad.
-
You got to be shittin' me. Yeah, okay. Yeah, let's fire Sean O'Haire and at the same time rehire this waste of skin.
-
What the fuck?
-
You know.....Shelton can speak pretty goddamn well when he gets the chance.

I have to totally agree with RRR. Dupree's amusing, but I have absolutely NO idea why he's getting the love that he is, and he shouldn't be anywhere near a upper mid-card feud at this point, lack of Smackdown heels or not. JMA - is this another one of those French things? Is that why you're a Dupree mark?
-
Absolutely. Hell, guys like HHH & Taker? In my WWE game they're pretty much nothing but upper card enhancement talent. I just had Benoit go over Taker in a feud, and loved every minute of it. Guerrero's going to be winning the world title soon. Sean O'Haire is my U.S. champ. Spanky's my cruiser champ. Hurricane is in the upper card on RAW. And Steven Richards - yes, Steven Richards - is on tap to win the IC title down the line. Shit, what do I care? I suppose I could be pulling in 7.0s in the ratings, but screw that, I'm happy with my 5.85s, and I'm still making money.
-
That wouldn't work. Bubba would probably legitimately assault the guy. I do like the Lawler / Stevie Ray gag, though. It'd be even better if they said they were hiring Mark Madden.
-
They have extenuating circumstances: we don't want you to work for the company that still hasn't severed ties to the pedophile. It's very simple, really. I can't fathom why some people here can't grasp the fact that they don't have a problem with him working for, say, IWA: Mid-South, but do have a problem with him working for the pedophile's company. But I guess TNA is just CRAZY for setting that standard. They must be - because after all, at least two people in this thread have already stated that they don't give a shit that Feinstein tries to hook up with 14 yr old boys, because HEY, that there ROH wrestling is sure good!
-
People think that? Are you sure the people you accuse of wanting it solved in a weekend are not actually the people who were against going in originally in the first place? I know several people who think it, yes. They're the same ones who think that pulling out now would be a GOOD idea.....as if the situation would magically get better if we suddently left for the Muslims to take over.
-
Will that affect anything? Like certain Risque angles or anything? I might be mistaken, but I think it mainly means that you don't have to worry about him developing a drug habit and needing to be placed in rehab. Also, his attitude should improve so you won't see him causing too much trouble in the locker room. I'm not sure about the risque angles. I don't think it makes much of a difference to that.

TNA has more potential for growth than RoH does. TNA is going to be getting national exposure soon - maybe they'll disappear after 13 weeks, but it's more than RoH has now or will have in the future; the Feinstein situation has poisoned them for a good long time. For all the doom and gloom about TNA, I have my own doubts that RoH will be around by the end of the year, especially if it's revealed that Feinstein's still with them. Which I think he still is. And it's not as if they say he can't be a free agent period - he simply can't work for one company in particular. And given the circumstances around their reason for that decision (not wanting to be associated with the company who's revenues line the pockets of a pedophile), I don't think it's a foolish demand.

Don't count on it. Those things don't cost much to make, so it's not too hard to recover their expenses. I figured that Passion would spike this week; but I hope that Hellboy makes enough in the long run (at the box office and through DVD sales) to warrant a sequel - it was just a fun, fun popcorn flick and I'd love to see another one.
-
Yes, Hellboy is a good series (it's actually several different miniseries), if you're into that sort of thing (specifically, if you're into the horror cum super hero genre).
-
I have an awful feeling Eddie Nygma buys it. Besides that, your guess is as good as mine. SPOILER: For those reading Batman: Gotham Knights, it does look like they're setting that up. And you're right, beyond that, I'm not sure who will buy it. You think they'll off one of the Bat family?

That's a total guilty pleasure song. BTW, I had never heard that song (I loathe hip hop) until Chappelle did that parody. I downloaded the song, and I must say, it's kind of disturbing how totally Dave nailed down Lil' John. He really is THAT awful. Depeche Mode is most definitely NOT a guilty pleasure. Guilty pleasures are songs or artists you should be embarrassed about listening to / enjoying. I don't think Mode falls into that, nor does Michelle Branch. My guilty pleasure: some Jpop. Normally I wouldn't really think that it's worthy of being a guilty pleasure, but traditionally a hard rock / metal type of person and it's a little difficult to explain to my friends why I have a Utada Hikaru album in my collection.
