The Sit-Out Choke Power Lariat Slam Bomb... cuz, if it has Sit-Out attached to it, it has to be devestating. Right? RIGHT?! You can't make that movie sit-out!!! What are you trying to do, kill his opponent??!!?!?

You're right. They would have simply brought in someone from OVW who is approximately 100 times WORSE than Ultimo is today.

ROH handled things very poorly. They have not done themselves any favors. Even with the way Gabe handled that caller on Meltzer. Telling him goobye like that when he was bringing up some reasonable points is not something they'd teach in public relations/crisis management class. I'm not saying this makes them in the wrong or anything, but they have provided fuel to the "RF is still around" fire. I agree that ROH has handled this situation poorly. But one thing that nobody think about is that unlike the WWE they don't have a PR department to do all that stuff for them. So this is the first time ANYONE in the professional side of ROH has had to do anything like this......... ok, they're excused then. They don't need a PR department. The majority of the stupid things they've done in the past few weeks could have been prevented if someone in their organization just used some goddamn common sense. They didn't. They were, and to a large extent (as can be seen in the WOL show) still are, inept in their p.r. efforts. If you're going to act like Gabe did on the show, then you're going to have to expect that people are still goign to give you shit. How about this - it would help with the p.r. mess they've put themselves in. If they can't even be bothered with getting a small thing like a notarization of their documents, if ALL they do is the bare minimum "under the law" to indicate that Feinstein has left, if they don't even answer reasonable questions like the one posed on the show (i.e., if Feinstein was bought out, how did they come up with the money for it?), if they, frankly, continue to half-ass tings, and then still expect everyone to believe RF is really gone because they throw out comments like "Oh, he's not here because if he was here we wouldn't be here", they're going to have to realize that people (like me) are NOT going to take them at face value and are going to think less of them for the shitty way they're handling things.

They ran out of fresh ideas years ago? that's all I got..... And you need nothing else, as you're 100% correct.

I'd mark for a Kwang return. Not Savio Vega - just stick some guy in a mask, like Al Snow did this past Raw, and poof! MASKED NINJA!!!!! I think Kenzo Suzuki will probably be brought in as the Evil Japanese Heel. And personally, if you're just going to go crazy with the gimmicks, then I say it's time to bring back a hillbilly. Only make him evil. And Satanic. I'm talking Otis Driftwood-House-of-1,000-Corpses evil.

As I argued back when it was first revealed that the documents weren't notarized, it's not necessarily a matter of "notaries don't really proof anything" as it is ROH going the EXTRA mile to show that all the "t's" are crossed and "i's" are dotted. It probably sounds silly to you, but given the overall shitty way they've handled this whole situation, it doesn't inspire much confidence in me that they couldn't even bother to do something like simple like notarize the paperwork. It would have taken them, what? An extra couple minutes to get it done? I don't care if it wasn't required by law. They've seemed perfectly happy to do the absolute bare minimum to show that Rob is gone and then expect all of us to, by God, take them for their word that everything's peachy keen.

Taker will no doubt give the young lad "the rub" by squashing him in every match they have.

For some strange reason, and perhaps I'm being naively idealistic here, I keep hoping that some wrestlers will have, you know, dignity. But in the age of "Eugene", I suppose that's far, far too much to expect.

Add spinebuster to that list. You know what's truly sad? I bet his finisher really WILL be one of those.
-
They shouldn't run "pot kills people" ads - the message should be more along the lines of the more accurate "stoners are fucking retards".
-
This shit doesn't matter to me. However, I will say this: if the left can question Bush about his National Guard service, then people should be allowed to question Kerry if his service in Vietnam was 100% what he claims it was.
-
Good lord, is he doing bits on the show???
-
They reject now. As soon as one modest terrorist attack hits them, though, they'll probably do whatever the hell he wants.

Hercules from AICN is the best example of why Whedon fanboys are beginning to really make me nauseous. It was a pretty decent episode. But that's it. Don't act as if it's the best thing ever aired on TV.

I agree with Harry Potter. Also, I've read some "Star Trek" novels before. Unless Peter David is writing them, that is something to be ashamed about.

There is absolutely NOTHING that has ever been done, or ever will be done, by APC that classifies as a guilty pleasure. Anyone who's ashamed to enjoy their music deserves a beating with a sack of doorknobs.

No. 98 times out of a 100, Batman would lose to Superman. Of course, anyone could lose to anyone. These characters aren't real and don't follow logic so any write could write any outcome. I respectfully disagree. Batman could take down the whole fucking DC universe, if he wanted to. He's the REAL ubermensch.

If this is true, then good. He should have never gone there to begin with. If he wants to work for an American company, he'd be better off doing occasional X-Division matches for TNA.

THe documents sent to 1wrestling WERE signed.... You're correct - I had meant to say notarized. You replied before I could edit my post.

THANK YOU. NOTHING has pissed me off more on this board than all of the ROH fanboys angry because some of us are daring to question the company after week after week of RIDICULOUSLY AWFUL public relations from them, since this whole RF mess started. If Feinstein is really gone, and they're just waiting to pay him off before they file the paperwork.....then someone should have the good sense to really get that message out there. Leak it secretly to Meltz or something. Because the reason I don't believe he's gone yet is because they're being so goddamn flippant with the info they give out that I can't take them at their word. They provide actual documentation he's gone - that's SIGNED this time - and perhaps I'll think aboug giving them my business again.

Best doll ever. That's only five bucks? Shit. I'm SO getting one.

Wait - Jericho was born in NY? Then he's American. I don't let people get away with that shit. If you're born here, you're American. I still get pissed off when people say Mel Gibson's Australian. The fuck he is - the bastard was born here in the States and lived here for like TWELVE YEARS - he's not an Aussie just cause he moves over there as a teenager and comes back a few years later with an accent.

How exactly do you no-sell death? It's not like Austin crushing HHH in his car or something, Angle is supposed to be throw off a building, that's not really something that's easy too explain. Although, when I think about it, Big Show was thrown off the top of a building in WCW and wrestled later that night, compared to that, Angle should be fine. I mean he's got a whole week to recover, right? It's not a building, more like a second floor landing. Think Kane and Steph before Mania XVII. What I'm absolutely positive will happen is that, much like when Shane McMahon nearly committed vehicular manslaughter with Kane last fall, absolutely NOTHING will be done to indicate that Big Show has, say, the slightest problem from the po-lice, even though he grievously injured (if not attempted to murder) another human being. *sigh* You know, one can only suspend disbelief / reality SO FAR....and then it just becomes retarded.

Not overrated at all. It's probably in my top ten movies of all time. Yes, all time. And I actually HAVE seen most of these older movies mentioned (Gone with the Wind, Lawrence of Arabia, Casablanca). I'd take Fight Club over then any day of the week. He doesn't really die. Reread the ending.
