  1. My gods. This.....this is possibly the worst fall lineup I've ever seen. Of the new shows, pretty much NOTHING is there that I'd want to see. Although I may catch the first couple episodes of the 21 JumpStreet rip-off. But will they succeed without the heartthrob that is Johnny Depp?
  2. I think he has photos of Quesada & Jemas......performing certain acts together. That said, this does sound like an interesting concept.
  3. I have to agree with the sentiment that 3 Doors Down doesn't deserve to be on this list. Not at all.
  4. I can't believe I missed this. Dead Alive is so NOT one of the worst films of all time - it's one of the better zombie flicks made in the past 15 years. NOTHING that Peter Jackson has done is bad. Some of it may be mediocre (Frighteners), but none of it's bad.
  5. After filming, of course, all of the women would be stoned to death for daring to expose their flesh to any man other than their husband.

I have to hope, in my heart, that the majority of America would turn completely against him if he decides to use this man's death as a political weapon against Bush. I HAVE to believe that the American people would have at least that much tact. BTW, Mike, this is something interesting I heard on FAUX (LOL2004!!!) yesterday: part of those billions that Kerry and some other Democrats voted against for Iraq would have been used to build new prisons - making Abu Gharib unnecessary - and that particular provision was thus taken out; I even believe Ted Kennedy was quoted as personally speaking out against the building of the new prisons.
  7. Feel free to try it. Since I don't troll or flame, you don't have much of a leg to stand on, though. I simply point out the rampant flaws. I know --- TNA marks HATE hearing that their product isn't flawed --- but so did WCW fans back in 2000. -=Mike I think it's more so that your "criticism" isn't even constructive - it's just ripping TNA a new asshole for everything that it does. EVERYTHING - you don't just insult them for the stupid things they do, you try and diminish as meaningless the things that they do right. It gets old very quickly since, again, you're not even trying to add anything remotely constructive to the discussion.
  8. IRAQ GIRLS GONE WILD!!! .....what? Don't act like there's not a market for it.

All this talk of bacon makes me think of one thing: Beggin' strips.
  10. Thats a contender man. "Africa? But...but Africa's FAR!!" Oh such winning dialouge. Since we're discussing "black" films, I nominate for "Worst Movie Ever Made" each and every film that stars Master P. ......unfortunately for all of us, there are a LOT of them. More than you'd think. Oh, and Halloween 3 can't be the worst movie, since it did have one redeeming quality: the "Silver Shamrock" song.

There are two scenarios that could be possible in 5 years time: A) Bush wins in November. Iraq has it's own puppet government, the US scales down the amount of troops in Iraq but rebellion and terrorism is rife. Half of you will be in the Army, as a draft is required in order to invade Syria and then Iran. Sharon has also killed half of palestine, using American money. B) Kerry wins in November. We are making progress in restoring peace and stability in Iraq. Power is shared by various religious leaders and although it has been hard work, Iraq is on it's way to being a democracy. Kerry cuts aid to Israel and forces Sharon to stick to a road map for peace via threat of sanctions. I want this thread to continue for several dozen more pages, with you in particular making numerous posts every day, because each and every additional contribution you make to the discussion just keeps getting more and more outrageously idiotic that I simply must study each and every one of them for its intrinsic scientific value. It'll be like Gorillas in the Midst. Only instead of me studying primates, I'll be me studying conspiracy-addled left-wing morons.
  12. I must admit, I've NEVER been a fan of Gambit, and would rather he not be in the film. What kind of update is this, anyway? "We're pretty sure Wolverine's going to be coming back." Pretty sure? He's your whole fucking movie!
  13. IF we see another version of TEW - next year, perhaps - then I'll probably consider buying it. Assuming, of course, that the majority of the kinks are worked out BEFORE it's released. I have the sneaking suspicion that Adam released TEW this time around before he was completely 100% done with it, just to meet the "First Quarter 2004" deadline.

Congratulations - you've just written the most retarded thing I've ever read on this board.
  15. It does show them something that they've likely never seen before - women who don't cower in fear of their raised fist.
  16. I have heard something about a 15 episode season this time around. I'm hoping it's true. And I can totally see Mara buying it before the season's up. She's just dying for it. This show is fucking fantastic! It's like a basic cable equivalent to the Sopranos......you know, back when the Sopranos didn't start sucking.
  17. I chose other. I'd like to see either Hugh Jackman or Eric Bana get the role.
  18. I must say, I'm with you. Avril DOES it for me. And I'm NOT talking about the music.
  19. It can't be worse than IV, can it? IMO, SM IV falls into that "so-bad-it's-kinda-good, in-a-bad-sort-of-way" category. Whereas any Superman movie with Ashton as Kal-El would just be awful all around.
  20. It may have been a success, but I feel that a lot of potential buyers - like myself - were turned off by how......incomplete the game was at launch. I'm sorry, it may be the best wrestling simulator ever devised - but I shouldn't have to download a shitload of patches the first couple weeks just so it runs correctly.
  21. Well, it looks like I won't be watching the new Superman movie, then.
  22. Question: Which side of the rode do you drive on? The left, facing the traffic, or the right, with it? Because NOTHING makes me want to run over someone as much as the bastards that ride on the right.
  23. I've always believed that the Bush adminstration waged war in Iraq for a particular reason, which has some connection to the War on Terror: they wanted to establish a democracy within the Middle East. The rationale behind this is two-fold: to create a government that would be "friendly" to us or at least one that, as a fellow democratic nation, would aid us in suppressing violent Muslim fundamentalism; and to encourage other Arab states to engage in regime change in their own governments, to establish Democratic governments there (specifically, Iran, which has had a strong pro-democracy movement going for quite some time now). Iraq was chosen because a) it was doable, b) it had built-in economic resources (i.e. the oil) so that it would be able to sustain itself once the democracy was underway, and c) the world-at-large couldn't gripe too much about deposing a madman such as Hussein (well, they could - but their rhetoric would have to be muted, as it was and is today, to merely questioning the need for war not whether it was just to depose a tyrant like Saddam). I suppose you could also say that d), it is also something of a private victory for the U.S. to depose, humiliate, and then capture a man who tried to assassinate a president of ours. [Personally, I always thought that the outright derision from liberals of that one particular issue - "He's just fighting this war for daddy! He just wants revenge cause Saddam tried to kill Bush Sr.! " - was rather childish and disgusting. While I don't believe at all that an entire war would be fought for such a motive, Saddam DID try to assassinate one of our commanders-in-chief - and that should be enough for ANY and EVERY American, at the least, to cheer for his removal from power.] Of course, assuming my theory is correct, it's not exactly something you can sell to the American public or the U.N., which is why WMDs were given as the reason for going to war. (The difference between me and my more left-leaning colleagues is that I believe that the administration genuinely believed that the WMD intel was good - only to find out rather bitterly that it was not - rather than actually lying about the weapons.) And of course, bad miscalculations have been made about Iraq thus far, primarily in a) the number of troops needed and b) preparing for the influx of foreign fighters and the terrorism by fundamentalists from within.
  24. Indeed it is. Oh god, NO. I hope that Kenzo and Tajire never so much as grace the ring together at the same time. Not just because any match between the two would be awful - which it would. But because I'm absolutely sick of the particular WWE tradition with minorities. WWE Law (Like Murphy's Law, only more retarded): If you have at least two of any particular minority / ethnic group, the individuals of that minority / ethnic group will eventually a) wind up forming a team or b) wind up feuding with one another.
