The premise of this alone - if they're really concerned about it - why, it just makes me giggle all over.

Tom Sizemore. He's good to great in everything he's been in. When he's actually making films or TV shows, that is. Lately he's just been drinking and beating the shit out of Heidi Fleiss and being sent to jail for it.

Which validates my opinion that the joke was dumb. Indeed. That joke wasted an awfully large number of text lines to ultimately say something of awfully little comedic value.

You know, insert comment about how badly Gail Kim sucks here, but I am definitely digging all of the submission moves she's been using lately.
-
Just anti-American. Sorry, I couldn't resist... It's alright - when can you resist being wrong? Sorry, I couldn't resist... Do I need to bust out the dictionary definition of sarcasm? Better yet, should I look up for someone the definition of the word "joke"? A few people here don't seem to recognize one.

I know I'm late with this comment, but I was off-line. I had to sign on due to the utter absurdity of what I witnessed on my TV screen. Of all the angles to bring back. PREGNANCY ANGLES NEVER WORK. Never.

How dare you. He was wonderful in all of those films. And he's incredibly attractive as well.

Yeah, it is pretty good since it would equally what is reportedly the highest rated show on the network, the Best Damn Sports Show Period. I say that would be pretty impress out of the gate and might warrant a sister network to look at that and say I wonder what we could do with it in primetime. I'm not saying it will happen, I'm just saying its not unimaginable either. And there is that other factor which, not surprisingly, some people here have conveniently overlooked: it did a good number (relative to FSN) in a thoroughly shitty timeslot.
-
A 0.3 for FSN is actually pretty decent, isn't it? And not that it'll happen, but FX putting Impact on in primetime wouldn't be some huge, shocking event. Outside of a small number of signature shows (Shield, Nip/Tuck), FX has NOTHING. Absolutely NOTHING in way of programming. Just bad action flicks and reruns of Married with Children.

Eh, it's an okay game. Along the same theme, though, I would suggest Onimusha Tactics, which is essentialy just FFTA using Capcom's Onimusha franchise. Also, Baldur's Gate is a game I just recently got, and it's pretty decent so far. I would also label as must haves: Advance Wars Advance Wars 2 ALL of the Mario Advance games Mario & Luigi Superstar Oh, and my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION EVER - "Shining Force: Rise of the Dark Dragon". I'm not sure if it's been released yet in the States, but it will be soon. This is a port of the old Genesis RPG, "Shining Force", which is one of the best RPGs of ALL TIME (well.....IMO - it's dated now, in these days of technological wonders, but it's incredibly fun). But they've gone back and actually improved on the graphics of the game, which ups its value in my eyes. You want all of this one.

My thoughts exactly. They've got the son of a "WWE Legend". It's the perfect setup gimmick for the guy. Hell, they drove the fact that Randy Orton is a "third generation superstar" into the ground, and Snuka is, arguably, a more memorable superstar than Cowboy Bob ever was.

Then shouldn't those who are mocking Rush now, such as Jobber, be considered hypocrites as well? If Rush is a hypocrite for speaking about the sanctity of marriage - and who knows if he has, but let's just assume for argument's sake - and then getting divorced himself, shouldn't those who are mocking him for this because of, presumably, the gay marriage issue, be considered hypocrites because most claim that marriage is something that should be considered private...and yet aren't respecting Rush's privacy on this matter? Who cares one way or the other. This story's fluff anyway.

Isn't Blair fairly socialist? I would think that'd be enough to make Moore like the guy. RED - you win major points for bringing up Foxx as Blair. MARS, BITCHES!!!

I haven't supported ROH or RF Video in over three months now, so this only reinforces the feelings I already had on the situation. I hope Rob Feinstein dies from an infection caused by getting anally raped by a guy named Bubba. Agreed. But I do find it amusing, because there were a lot of people here who defended RoH and who were very vocal against those of us, such as you and I, who doubted the veracity of all involved who claimed RoH was truly gone. Fuck RoH. They had a shot to make it right, and they blew it.

Due to my own lamentable fumblings with the timer on my VCR, I missed taping the debut show. But I shall not make the same mistake again! I think the show looks pretty decent. Only about 20 times better on paper than Smackdown wound up being, so I agree, it'll probably come off good on TV. And squeezing six matches onto this isn't so bad, assuming the two squash matches are kept short.

He was a bleeding heart liberal. Actually, he was the President who's attitudes and policies towards Native Americans facilitated and allowed for the Trail of Tears, which was tantamount to genocide. Speaking as someone of Cherokee descent, trust me when I say that he's not the sort of guy that Democrats want to hold up as great party icon. He's something of an anti-Lincoln, if you want a point of reference. I think he did more than facilitate it. He outright friggin' ignored the Supreme Court when they ruled against him. Though I'd have a friend that would argue for Jackson b/c of the giant cheesewheel he had. Worcester v. GA, right? There are tons of guys who deserve the spot more than Jackson. Hell, put Thomas fucking Paine on there.....if anyone remembers what he looked like.
-
Honestly? I still like Bradshaw more than I do Orton. Even AFTER the Nazi shit.

*looks in horror at kkk* What the HELL is wrong with you?!?! Keep it up and you're going to get a right and proper reeducation, Clockwork Orange style.

Renaming the Pentagon is a bit much. However, Andrew Jackson was an awful human being, so I got no problem with them putting the Gipper's mug on a 20-spot.

I gotta believe that after next week, either Shane or Mara or both are gonna be pushing up daisys. One of them has GOT to die. ....(at least I hope)

What did any of you expect? Did someone here mistakenly believe that Eric S had anything close to resembling good taste or tact? I find it incredibly amusing that you say this, since Eric S is doing what all good little left-wing people are supposed to be above: he's spewing venomous hatred against a man simply because he disagreed with him politically. Why, what a downright CONSERVATIVE trait he's exhibiting.

"Big Media" LOL2004! will probably treat him well. No. That I'm sure won't be happening. He was popular, but he doesn't inspire the same amount of emotion. The Rodney King comment just baffles me. Why does Tom Brokaw have to retire at the end of the year? Why can't it be Jennings? I get endless more hours of amusement from Tom and his speech impediment than I do from Jennings and his bizarre ramblings.
-
I'm sorry, Spike fans - but the guy shouldn't legitimately be put over anyone. ANYONE. He's probably the one male wrestler in the company who I wouldn't have a problem with them having job to Jacqueline.

I'm right there with you. I want to see Kenzo's match, just for my own curiosity. But then I'm changing the channel.
