What's with all the midget hate? Just becuase they're little, they must suck and be all SPORTZ ENTRERTAINMENT! and stuff? In Mexico, mini's are actually treated like regualr atheltes. Stereotypes aren't fun guys. Who's stereotyping? They're awful. It wouldn't matter if they were 7 feet tall. They're just NOT entertaining. This match will either be played two ways: they'll be all serious, and hope to "wow" the U.S. audiences, who couldn't care less. Or this will be a total comedy match, and fans may appreciate the novelty of it but after the match, the novelty will have worn off and the fans still couldn't care less. I'll hate it either way. Bleh... another one of those fueds you wish would just go away but won't. It has dragged on a bit, but let's be honest - this is as compelling as AAA gets. This is probably the only Sportz Entertainment thing I've seen them do that has succeeded on any level. TNA tried to bring in Shocker and Negro Casas but they wouldn't work on a show with Konnan or something... dunno. I think Tenay may have connections with AAA or something. All the more reason to fire Konnan to let him go stink up a WWE ring. I'd like to see Shocker brought in. Negro Casas isn’t the best they have to offer…..I’d rather see Tarzan Boy or even Zumbido. And I’d like to see AMW defend against Ultimo Guerrero & Rey Bucanero. Mike, last year for the anniversary show they promised Sting. This year they promise us Mexican midgets. ….I don’t think I can justify 10 bucks for this lineup.

I really do love Kurt as a worker, but seriously, if he does come back to the ring, I give him one, maybe two matches before we hear from the dirt sheets that he’s having numbness in his extremities again. The guy should just retire already. There’s nothing left to prove, and he’s only risking serious damage to himself (as if he won’t already have serious health issues later in life) by continuing this charade that he can still compete and remain safe. I like the idea of Eugene being an elaborate trick by the Game to cheat Benoit out of the title. It’s a little elaborate and comic-book-villain-master-plan-ish, but there are far worse ways to end the Eugene gimmick.

I find it interesting that you bring up all of those men, because in this day and age of the Kenzos and the Tomkos, I don’t see how you can come out and say that Nova has nothing to offer the WWE. Even judging him on his ECW work – he has FAR more to offer than a thousand Kenzo Suzukis or Tyson Tomkos. Edit: Jaxl brings up a good point about the tag team thing. Both tag divisions are seriously anemic. Why not simply put Nova in a tag team with someone else who otherwise doesn’t have much going on right now? It always frustrates me when the WWE has guys who are just toiling away for no good reason in the midcard / lower-midcard ranks when they could be doing SOMETHING. Sometimes they take the hint: look at Billy Gunn & Hardcore Holly. Are they the best tag team in the company? Far from it, but at least the creative department realized that, individually, they had nothing for these two guys to do so they made a tag team out of them. Debut Nova, stick him with somebody (why not former bWo frontman Stevie Richards? He ain’t doing too much these days), and you’ve got another tag team on RAW. Which will bring the number of established tag teams on RAW to……three.

Nuts! You've figured it out.

If you have a GameBoy Advance, they've released SMB3. If you don’t have a GBA, find a GBA emulator on the net (I use VisualBoy Advance). Then it’s just a matter of finding a SMB3 ROM for your emulator (your best luck is probably with mIRC). Personally, I loved SMB2 best of all. For all of you Mario fans, I would also suggest the recently released Mario vs. Donkey Kong. Nifty little puzzle game which I spent most of yesterday playing. And to show how much SMB2 has become part of the franchise, the game includes many elements of SMB2.

I intensely dislike the "Tina" name as well. "Alexis", if they have to go with just one name, is much better. But I suppose that we should just be thankful she's going to be getting airtime. Oh, and Blade - hook me up.

Whoever said the midgets are the only reason to watch AAA on Galavision is a damn liar. I can't STAND the minis on that show. Just fucking awful. The whole Electro Shock / Lady Apache / El Zorro v. Chessman / Tiffany / Charlie Manson feud is much more compelling. Now that I think about it, though......why AAA to begin with? A partnership with CMLL makes more sense, seeing as.....you know.....CMLL has a lot of actually GOOD workers.

Disney games ruled. Ducktales was a lot of fun. Darkwing Duck was great in the sense that it was essentially a Mega Man clone, only using the Darkwing characters (shit - I wish Disney's get off their ass and start putting out some of their series on DVD, cause I'd buy Darkwing in a heartbeat). And, of course, "Chip N' Dale's Rescue Rangers" remains one of my favorite NES games of ALL time. I never owned it, but I must have rented it 12 times.

While I do think the abuse scandal is being, shall we say, "over-milked" (it's a new word I just created - basically, I think they've gotten as much blood out of the turnip as they can, and are now scraping the bottom of the barrel for new dirt, if I may use yet another cliched phrase), I have to disagree with Mike about the rape thing. Maybe it's bullshit; but men CAN be raped by women. Sex isn't TOTALLY mental, you know. Hell, you've had "morning wood" before - sometimes your body just reacts, subconsciously. If this guy was stimulated, it's not inconceivable that he did obtain (and possibly sustain) an erection.

I'd disagree - I'm COMPLETELY surprised that Dodgeball was #1. I thought it looked funny, and it's something that I'd like to see eventually, but it didn't look like the kind of film that I thought would garner enough mainstream appeal to be the top movie. Riddick dropped by a lot. And I'm worried about Harry Potter - it's such a fantastic film, but I'm afraid that this may be the first of the Potter films that doesn't hit 300 million domestic.

That's not much of an answer, when you got down to it. Still kind of ambiguous.

Jesus Christ. After reading this thread, and the three or so pages wasted.....er, spent, debating the use of a possible slur aimed against inhuman monsters who get their jollies lopping off the heads of infidels (oops - was that too INSENSITIVE towards them? I can never tell!), I've come to a conclusion: I really, really wish I could get my hands on a culling song. But then I remember that if I had it, I don't think I'd be able to stop myself from using it. Repeatedly.

Regal's FINALLY medically cleared to wrestle. Someone alert Bob Barron! I'm going to enjoy the Regal / Eugene tag title reign.

In my post on the very first page I questioned just how hard the Saudis were REALLY looking for this guy. "Thousands of officers are looking for him." Well, they sure didn't seem to be able to find the guy while he was alive, but they conveniently killed the man who killed him (or rather should I say, allegedly killed the terrorist - who can even take them at their word that it was the same one who did this act) exceptionally quickly after the fact. Al-Qaeda has shifted away from big attacks to focusing on small numbers of civilians. One of the reasons why is because Arabs don't really mind so much when a few Americans get beheaded. No one even really understands that or is even capable of appreciating it, Mike. The whole D-Day rememberance thing from the past few weeks was so fucking poignant, to me at least, because it just made me incredibly depressed - because we'll never see a generation like that, who had the resolve that they did. The more I think about it, Hitler was 60 years ahead of his time. If he had come to power in this day and age, he'd have fucking folded up Europe like a House of Cards if simply for no other reasons than NO ONE has the fucking detemination to engage in a difficult war anymore. Not even if the cause is just. You can call Marney an extremist, but at least she's doesn't sit there and piss and moan about how we got into this situation we're in, she simply understands that in order to resolve it satisfactorily we're going to have to be willing to shed a lot of blood - theirs and ours.

When it comes to Bush, Mike, there are those who will argue otherwise no matter what.

Short of killing them before they do it, nothing. Read the article closely. These guys even no-sold a moderate Muslim cleric. Personally, I'm sitting here wondering exactly how "aggressive" Saudi Arabia really was.

Mordecai v. Eddie, even for the belt = STILL better than any possible combination of Eddie vs. Mark Jindrack.

I voted Gargoyles. In my heart, my favorite of all time is Batman:TAS. However, Gargoyles justly deserves to be considered the next best thing. It is so leaps and bounds above the X-Men cartoon (which currently has the second highest amount of votes) that it's not even funny. The two shows don't even deserve to be compared - Gargoyles trumps it in ever way possible. Oh, and the fact that you list "Kim Possible" instead of the truly awesome "Real Ghostbusters" is a fucking joke.

Hey, I liked the film. It was the shit back when I was like, 8 years old.

People like you make me remember why I began to lose faith in all humanity.

Is this supposed to be a sad little statement of "victory" by making a humorous assertion that their as-of-yet absence means that the overwhelming truth of the-one-called-MOORE~! has frightened them into hiding? One thing I am curious about in regards to this film - what exactly is his point with the Bush footage? Is it a truly rare moment for Moore, where he portrays Bush as - gasp - a human being who is shocked to his utter core about the events of that day, as they were happening? The author of this review - by the very language of his review - kind of casts suspicion otherwise. Remarks like "with an unfortunate look of confusion" don't fill me with, as Jobber might say, "warm fuzzies." Oh, I may one day see it. But it'll either be when it comes out on video or when it airs on free TV (or on HBO, Showtime, etc.). I refuse to actually see it in theaters and thus put money in that man's pockets.

Arab Muslims already have 640 times Israel's land mass, 60 times her population and all the oil. Their religious dictum that the entire planet must submit to Islamic control is unreasonable and impractical. What do you say we ask them to give it up? Then we could all start living happily ever after.

It's really more along the lines of enjoying reading literature by individuals who don't seem to be suffering from advanced schizophrenia and / or attention deficit disorder.

Oh, I'm sorry, Rob --- I'm sure that it IS real hard to connect the dots when you're in an area where: 1) Bombs go off around coalition forces regularly and 2) You're told to be at a certain roadside location at a certain time Truly, a MYSTERY for the ages. . Ah, yes indeed! The mystery of Kaspar Hauser pales in comparison.

Well then, I'll shall simply proclaim him a genius. And, having honored him with that humble accolade, I shall proceed to never again read a word that he has written, and amuse myself with those writers who are no doubt intellectually inferior to this esteemed gentleman, though they have at least managed to learn some fucking structure.
