Raw vs. Smackdown and Kingdom Hearts 2 (NONE of you EVEN start with me about this) are must-buys for me. Of the rest.....I'm seriously considering buying Madden 2005, even though I don't really even have enough time now to play 2004. And, of course, I may have to buy GTA:SA, just to protest the government's obsession with violeng video games.

For those in the D.C. area (or receive Comcast / FSN "Mid-Atlantic"), I just want to let you know that Impact! will air tomorrow at 1:30 a.m. That's not TONIGHT, mind you - it's not 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning. It's actually 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning. So go out and do whatever Saturday night, and set your VCRs to record. I swear to God, Mid-Atlantic is killing me. At least this week they’re actually airing the show. Anyone have any solid info on the ratings for Impact? Still good? Better than normal FSN programming? I hope so, because if the show’s doing well (relative to FSN), then it’s about time that TNA puts its foot down and persuades the network to start airing the show at the same day / time UNIFORMLY across FSN / Comcast. IF I remember to tape the show tomorrow night, it’ll be the second show I’ve seen, out of….what? Six weeks? Seven?

You know, since I live in the Washington D.C. area, and the majority of the people whom I work with / go to school with are black, I've had the opportunity to talk with a lot of African-Americans about what Bill has had to say. And I was kind of surprised at how much a lot of them AGREE with the Coz. They’re not as….angry as Bill seems to be, but by and large, most of the older people I talked with (middle-aged and older) agree. Many of the younger folks disagree. So perhaps this is a cultural thing, based upon age. But apparently, Bill is actually vocalizing the opinions of a significant percentage of the black community.

So even though the French admit that the film is dishonest and essentially propaganda, they basically dismiss that because they agree with the film's anti-Bush message. .......... .....I may have to stop criticizing France. They're apparently more like America than I thought.

If you ask me, the writers of X2 were smart in that they DIDN'T give Storm more of a role, because a) everyone knows that Wolverine is the star of these things and b) Berry was just awful in the part. Now, I want just one of you to honestly tell me that they couldn't stick ANY other young, attractive black actress in this role. But what is this shit about "closing the trilogy"? This is the same kind of RETARDED talk coming out of the Spider-Man camp about "Well, we don't think we're going to do more than three films...." FRANCHISE, people. You have a money-making franchise in both cases. If the current actors / creative teams don't want to do more than three, then it's simple - replace them with a new crop of people. It's insane to just leave it at three films a piece when you have the potential for continuing the properties for years to come.

Does anyone know if more games are going to be stocked for this deal, or is it just on merchandise that's already in the store (basically, a clearance sale)? Because someone did bring up the possibility that this sale either won't "officially" start until the 11th or that on the 11th more games will be added / supplied.

I wouldn't really go that far, and I can just imagine how some of the other posters here will respond to you. BUT, I like Kidman. I've liked him since his early days in WCW, and I think that, on this board at least, he's very underrated. I'm not saying he's the best EVAH, but he's a GOOD worker, and unworthy of some of the nastier stuff I've heard said about him here. Maybe we all would rather have Spanky be in his spot, but hey - it was Spanky's choice to leave. I'm not blaming him for that, as they certainly weren't using him to his potential, but pairing London with Kidman isn't a horrible thing. If they legitimately pushed this team (instead of making them fluke champs, which is probable and would be typical of average WWE booking), than this could be a shot in the arm for the tag division, as there are quite a few pairings from the SD roster that Kidman / London could work well with.

Seeing as both FG & ATHF are both about 1000 times better than Futurama, I can watch reruns of both every day. Hell, I'll take the worst FG / ATHF episode over an episode of Home Movies any day of the week.

Kidman / London winning the tag titles makes this show pretty much a must-see for me. The Cena thing is just stupid. Even if you want to have Cena drop the title, why not have him drop it clean to Booker T? Cause I mean, it's not as if you need credible heels on Smackdown.

I went to a Circuit City today, couldn't find the vast majority of the games on that list - I don't know if that was because the store I went to had already sold out of them in the last couple days, or that the Playstation selection wasn't that large at the store that I went to, or perhaps it might have been the fact that the store clerks were just then (at that very moment) marking some games as 5 bucks. I'm planning to hit the other Circuit City store near me on Thursday, and hopefully I'll have more luck; if not, I suppose I'll check back next week, since a few people here have mentioned that more games will be marked down or put out on the 11th? As it is, I'm just hoping I can find a copy of Red Faction 2, Capcom v. SNK 2, and Dynasty Warriors 4. I did pick up Legends of Wrestling 2, Timesplitters (cause I'm a FPS mark), and Evergrace (cause I'm an RPG mark). Worth 15 bucks IMO.

They're not really going to go with this "George Bush is for two Americas!" crap, are they? Because I don't see how it's going to work with Edwards, seeing as a) the economy won't be as big of an issue as it was just a few months ago, and b) Edwards, given his history and who he is, is the last person who should be preaching about the differences between rich and poor. I mean.....Edwards is part of the reason that I'm paying huge chunks of money for health insurance now. And SHITTY health insurance at that.

Yes, I still think he'll win. Kerry picked Edwards, which is, I suppose, the best choice he could have made given his choices (his best choice would have been probably McCain, but perhaps McCain realized that if he went along with that, he'd do nothing but divide the party). But Edwards, as I said before, is at best an unproven quantity, and regardless you know that the Bush campaign likely believed he would be the selection and have planned their campaign accordingly.
