L.A. Par-K (La Parka) has a messege for you
Vyce replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in General Wrestling
That was last weekend! Parka is, indeed, still quie awesome. Forget this rumored "WWE will sign Konnan" bullshit - sign La Parka. -
Looks pretty good, although I'd have definitely switched the Daniels match with the Brown match.

The problem with this WWE films idea is that it's about 4 years too late. If they had done this back in 2004, they could have hit right upon the major popularity of the company / industry, and probably gotten a good return on a few WWE-produced movies starring Rock or Stone Cold. Honestly, though, I would pay to see a movie starring Mick Foley.

I agree. I have no problem with them trying to establish new stars, but every match shouldn't be a TNA star against someone from the Indies, otherwise this really WILL look like Velocity, when it could be a showcase for their talent. If they ARE goint to use them, I think it best to use them like they appear to be using Batts in the 8-man tag. TNA star / TNA star / TNA star / Indy Guy vs. 4 TNA stars. Something like that, until these guys are somwhat established with the audience.

Yeah, because you're not exaggerating there at all. You're right - instead of undies, substitute "socks." I missed it by a couple feet. The illegal activity, of course, remains the same. But let's continue to ignore THAT little fact.
-
Sadly, I thought the same thing. People, let's give Cena the benefit of the doubt. He could make this work. Hell, he already looks a little bit like a steroid-abusing Matt Damon.
-
I would have to agree. Impact is their best opportunity to promote the product, and they're spending it by showcasing the guys from NWA Florida. No offense, but those guys should pretty much ONLY be doing dark matches at this point.

Man, if Rice did this, she'd be lynched by now. -=Mike ..."It doesn't matter. It happened MONTHS ago." "Well, so did Abu Gharib" "But..." Here's the thing, Mike - as much as the Bush admin. has been accused of "stonewalling" the 9/11 investigations, I don't think there's one piece of proof that they've actually hidden information from the commission. But here we have one of the previous administration's boys literally stuffing paper into his fucking undies to make sure no one else sees it. But according to the Center for American Progress, we shouldn't really concern ourselves with his actions. [bTW - I'm kind of surprised you didn't talk about the partisan nature of that link, but then again, I don't suppose it needed saying.] Because he's served this country ably for many years. All the Democrats, and even John F. Kerry, tell me so. So shouldn't we cut the guy some slack for violating national security?
-
*raises hand* Never happened to me. But then again, I'm white.

I don't expect the exactly read the documents on the evening news, but they CAN be general about it. For example, if these documents discuss the Clinton administration's actions towards terrorism, they can tell us in very general terms about that without totally declassifying the information found within. You know what, though? I wouldn't blame a single soul for this story coming out right now - I'd blame them for not coming out with the story weeks / months ago when it apparently became evident he was doing this shit. It looks like the guy broke national security - don't fucking keep quiet on that.

Sen. John Warner has made reference that a report will be coming out that somewhat bolsters the pre-war assertions about Saddam's WMD capabilities, but unfortunately it won't be out until probably September.

Please. As I've dropped hints about off and on, the only homosexual obsession I have is with Elijah Wood. But if you have a problem with me, Tyler, apparently this is the place to whine about it in.

Errrrr...... comics don't make one nerdy, I defintely still read them, nothing wrong with it. However with the comic book store comparison, I guess I kinda.... didn't express myself as well as I meant to there. To compare the "bad" comic book store to the "good" one, the bad one you walk in, the place is dark, the staff are all arrogant and cocky, they won't help anyone at all. You've got the stereotypical from the Simpsons 400 pound guy sitting there who thinks he's really witty and is an asshole, and a few suck ups to him. The guys who work here also REALLY can't be wrong and have to be right. Mind you this is the only comic book store around back home--compare that to a place that's bright, well lit, has staff that will bend over backwards to help you, remebers EVERYONE by name, gives discounts if you buy a lot, goes out of their way to talk to you, etc. etc. It's not the fact that one is nerdy--it's more the fact one store is dark, messy, and the workers are asshole fanboys, and the other place is bright and inviting and has a great owner and staff. If you're a comics fan, it pays to try and find that one "good" comic store you can call your own. Mine is literally only about a mile from my house, and I've been going there for a few years now. I get a discount, I know everyone by name, and not only do they keep a hold on all of my titles but will usually recommend new books to me that they think I may be interested in.

Why aren’t more people making something out of the fact that this guy is an advisor to Kerry? And that line by Kerry sums up the party line that every Democrat was saying yesterday. Just about every Democrat interviewed yesterday about this story said something along the lines of “Sandy Berger has served this country well.” Oh, then, I’ll totally forgive him for breaking the law here and possibly committing a national security violation. Politicians need to attack this thing like pitbulls. I want to know what the content of those documents was, because it’s going to be very interesting if we find out that they prove that Clinton wasn’t doing as much about terrorism as he’s claimed he’s done. And the criticism about this being leaked to the media gripes me. Does that matter? Berger did something incredibly stupid, illegal, and possibly in violation of national security, quite possibly to protect the previous administration from damaging information being disclosed, and we’re supposed to ignore all of that or take it with a grain of salt because it’s possible that word of this investigation was leaked by the Republicans? Fuck that.

Shut up, Economics Boy. This post of yours has made me so angry, I'm going to post a thread about you in HD.
-
As a fellow D.C. metro resident, I take issue with that. You got no room to speak, California boy.
-
As if Democrats and liberals right now aren't circling the wagons like motherfuckers. FORTUNATELY, there was a discussion of this on CNN today. I want very much to learn, as generally as they're able to divulge (due to the sensitive nature of the materials), what the content of the documents he took was.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/international/st...,430276,00.html You're so full of shit, Jobber. You said ON THIS VERY SAME PAGE that you're "numero uno" in wanting to stop talking about the Florida election, and yet here you are NOT letting the discussion go.

Democrats, Republicans condemn 'Kerry/bin Laden'
Vyce replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Current Events
Don't try and act as if one is somehow worse than the other. And don't act as if the BUSH = HITLER stuff was ONLY confined to the MoveOn.org contest. Both are equally stupid. -
Why is this thread not at least to a second page, yet? Oh, right - the purposefully ambiguous thread title. This story is ten kinds of shady. Berger has a LOT of explaining to do.
-
Ah, that's right, he IS from D.C. Maybe that explains why he was put over ALL of the upper-card faces not named Edge.
-
Nah. I'll just present an alternative viewpoint. -=Mike Actually, apparently the new protocol is that if you disagree with the opinion of another poster here at TSM, you should create a thread in HD to bash that person to make you feel better about your own inadequacies & insecurities. It's what the pussy-boys in the CE folder have started doing.

I think that guy gives Miller waaaay too much credit for DKSA.
-
Thank God. A match actually ended this week without more overexposure of Batista.

Creeper + Blue Devil + Aztek + Booster FUCKING Gold = awesomeness. Too bad this isn't the Hal Jordan GL, because we could have got some sweet GL / GA teamups.
