I am intrigued about the possibility of a director's cut. Here's hoping that, like Daredevil, there was a ton of shit that got left on the cutting room floor that can be put back in to make this a more 'complete' film.

Dark Cloud 2 for PS2. It might not be *that* obscure, but it was overshadowed by the majority of the PS2's RPGs like FFX, which is a shame, because it's a really solid RPG with some very entertaining and rewarding mini-games, such as using your camera to take photos of random objects in order to create various upgrade items and weapons.

A point in ECW's favor is that MTV tends to re-run everything about 345 times that same week, so you could skip WSX and still have quite a few chances to see that week's episode. I'm definitely going to be taping WSX, though. I'm absolutely convinced it will be just godawful, but that's the very reason why I don't want to miss it.

Does Lee spend a good deal of time slamming Nagin and every other LA politician? Because they fucked up long before, and more monumentally so, than the federal government. That's my concern about this doc. Knowing Lee's biases he probably goes straight to "GEORGE BUSH HATES BLACK PEOPLE!" instead of providing criticism of, say, the BLACK mayor of New Orleans who was a colossal fuck-up in his own right. Plus doesn't he entertain that bullshit conspiracy theory about the U.S. government intentionally blowing up the levees?

The problem is that they're not going all the way with this. When Eugene "snaps" he just seems mildly irritated. Instead they should have him be incredibly violent and sadistic and crazy, like a retarded Bruiser Brody or some shit. Have him start throwing chairs, choking people out, punching out referees, shit like that, and then when he 'calms down' he's like the old Eugene again.

True, but I think 2GOLD has a good point in that House is even worse without the pills. It's not just the addiction, it's the constant pain he's in. So now you're left with a fascinating dynamic of a doctor who actually can't function WITHOUT being medicated. And I agree about Vitter being an asshole. He's basically fucking up people's lives in order to get House. That's pretty much a vendetta.

That's the thing though. I've only chatted with her (on IM) maybe twice. Occasionally have left messages on her Myspace. I'm not really close to her or anything. I just think I "get" Leena (to whatever extent that's possible without being close to her), and I'm fine with her as a poster. And she's not a troll. She doesn't go in other threads in other folders and derail them like wp did.

Quoting this here cause I think it's more appropriate. Look, this is something I've been saying about Leena for a while now. It's not really any great insight on my part. But I knew this way back when. Leena likes to play around with people, push people's buttons sometimes just to see how they'll react. It's just her way. I'm cool with it, which is why (like niskie) I enjoy her as a poster and I generally get along with her, even though I don't have much interaction with her outside of the message board. I realize that not everyone may appreciate her and how she is, but some of you are just letting it fuck with your heads. I mean, shit. She's not your internet nemesis.

Seeing as Fox as admitted to under or over medicating himself in the past in order to make a point, I really don't see how it was foolish of anyone to assume that he might have done it again for these ads. If he didn't do it on purpose, fine. But no one should act as if, oh, my, what an OUTRAGEOUS accusation to make against Michael J. Fox! Because he has done it before. Which is his right, and more power to him, because I think we should be doing this research. But I don't feel questioning his participation in these ads was really out of line.

Darkseid would be fantastic, but I can't imagine we'd see him.....maybe ever. If they do a supervillain, I imagine it'd probably be Braniac.
