So what do you think of these glitches? I was able to cancel Mitsurugi's 88B after like, 5 minutes in training mode. Seems pretty bad.

MK shaolin Monks being nominated for best fighting game is the best.

I got the LE last night. I picked the girl on the cover and gave myself balanced stats. So far the game seems like KOTOR, but with real time combat. Is it just me or is the combat really choppy looking? It looks so bad I'm thinking it might be a problem with my Xbox, but you can never tell with Bioware. KOTOR looked bad too.

You're right. I wasn't paying attention. I'm sorry.

Cosplay is good. I would do it if I had any talent in making costumes. I don't even go to cons. I would just randomly dress as Yuna and Rinoa.

I change my mind depending on the mood. Having just played through VII again last month I am back on the remake bandwagon. I have given you tons of points on here and IM. Not valid enough for you?

VII is my favorite game of all games. I rank them from best to worst.. VII VIII X VI IX IV I II V Although VII is my favorite overall it does not have my favorite characters. I like the cast of VIII and X much more. Especially Squall, Rinoa, Yuna and Tidus. Those are my favorite couples in any game.

I was upset when I couldn't get Bastila to turn back to the light side in the end. I was always friends with her but she wouldn't listen. I tried perseuding her with love and it didn't work. I ended up having to kill her.

That's a bad thing? I would love more games like Indigo Prophecy. I think VI, VII and VIII had great soundtracks but the quality doesn't compare to current games. Yet another reason why a FF VII remake would be the greatest thing ever.

Yeah X-com was out for PSX. Only reason I remember this is because a friend used to like it and the evil looking alien on the box looks scary. If FF VIII had something like Materia instead of drawing I might just like it more then VII. Drawing is so tedius, especially at the beginning. I did like not having to level up though. I always get Diablos encounter none ability asap. Like halfway through I am only fighting bosses and my junctioning is so good I don't need to have a high level. I usually get to Ultimecia at like, level 19. But everytime you have to get 100 of a spell for each character it's so boring. Tactics was so good. I was really into the story and art so much that I overlooked the fact that was hard and took so much leveling up. Tactics Advance sucked bad. You know a FF game is bad when even I won't finish it. I honestly don't know how anyone could dislike the cast of FFX-2. It's funny, cute, charming and the girls so likeable. I could see not liking the gameplay, the lack of the epic story or the nonlinear map but the characters are so good. Plus the good ending is one of my favorite moments. I love the Tidus/Yuna couple. I wanted to like XI. It's just insanely tedius and time consuming. There's also no real role playing. Everyone is in a hurry to level up or get items. You never really get into the story or your character. It's like being in a giant chat room where you have to level up.

People continue to talk about VII because it was such a new experience for those who weren't into RPGs before. It's just really special, like Street Fighter II. FF IV is too old school for me. I can see how it would have been great back in the day but it's too simple and linear now. It's still really good, even playing it for the first time in like 2000. VI was way ahead of it's time. I think if it had been made for PSX it would have been like VII.

Well I do think FF VII is better than any of those games or any RPG I've ever played. If you think it sucks that's ok but don't try to invalidate what I'm saying by blowing it off as "fanboyism at it's peak". What is that even supposed to mean? The reason I am such a fan of the game is because it's so good. It's not like I just woke up one day and decided to blindly follow it. FF VI is probably my 4th favorite FF, behind VII, VIII and X. Those 4 are some of my all time favorite games of any genre and I play them through all like once a year. I got Indigo Prophecy last week and loved it. I thought the story kind of fell apart at the end but the first part was great. If the murder mystery stuff had been the whole game it probably would have been one of my favorites this year.

Ok let's talk FF VIII. Second best RPG ever? I say yes. I didn't appreciate RPGs till FF VII, which is weird since I love story and cinematic games. I had this whole genre of games I would have loved and just didn't even realize it.
-
Yeah, it's not like those games. It's better.

Most games of that era look awful now. Doesn't really matter though. The direction in the cutscenes is good enough that they still have impact even with the crappy graphics.
-
But it's good old hat. Better hat then any of the other old hats.

I doubt I would do well anymore. I lost my skill in 2D action games years ago. It would just be frustrating. Cool Spot was ok, but too hard.

X-Men 1 was impossible but I liked X-Men 2 Clone Wars. I always wanted to play Castlevania Bloodlines. I remember as a kid it was like my birthday or something and I had a choice of any game I wanted and I had to pick between Hard Corps and Bloodlines. Hard Corps ended up being one of my favorite Genesis games but I've always wondered if I made the right choice. BL looked so cool. Shinobi 3 was great. The horse and boat levels looked so cool. And you could actually beat it, unlike the others which are impossible.

Koopa Troopa was my favorite in the original. I was always upset he wasn't in 64. Replacing the lame DK Jr. design with DKC DK was good though. He quickly became one of my favorites since I was obsessed with DKC back then. That and Peach because...I'm not really sure why. Daisy being added to DD is the best roster addition ever though. Daisy is top tier in Tennis and Party.

Carth was ok. I did the love story with him every time I played it. His voice acting always made me feel sorry for him. In Jade Empire I was friends with Dawn Star. About halfway I realized we were getting closer and it was actually leading to a lesbian path. I liked the relationship and their scenes together so I just went with it. We ended up kissing before the final battle. I have a hard time being evil in those games. I get to like the characters and feel bad being mean to them and don't want to disappoint them. I try to answer questions and follow the path I would really take, like I am the main character. That's what I love so much about those games. I've never even seen some of the other ways to play JE or KOTOR, like I've never been a male Jedi.

Sonic 3 is my favorite in that series and I played it more then most Marios.
-
Ok thanks for all the info. Conquest is really popular here. There's some who would rather play it instead of versus, which I just don't get. I do wish something like it was in T5 because it's good for when no one is around. T5's one player is horrible on arcade, you can't even win enough gold to buy something.

I am not going to see it till it actually comes out but I have read the spoilers. It sounds like what I've always wanted.

Why is it taking Metroid Prime Hunters so long to come out? It was one of the hyped games before the DS even launched. Did anyone play the new Area 51? It's a pretty good Halo clone. I don't understand why they'd make a Castlevania movie. The series doesn't seem very mainstream and the story isn't original anyway.
