First off, that's a load of crap. Pitching alone does not win titles. Pitching AND hitting wins titles. Second, I don't know where this attitude comes from that the Cubs are easy favorites. They added Maddux. The Astros added Pettitte AND Clemens. That's on top of Wade Miller and Roy Oswalt. On top of that, the Astros scored 75 more runs than the Cubs last season, and the Cubs really haven't done anything significant to their offense. Third, I'll be shocked if that pitching staff lasts the season with Dusty Baker's reputation for overuse. Fourth, the Yankees are not lightweights in the pitching department. Kevin Brown will reach 200 wins this season, as will Mike Mussina. Javier Vazquez is even better than those two. Jose Contreras is a competant #4, and you only need four starters for the postseason.

Going out on a limb, I think Houston's long term chances are better than the Yankees'. I've got them pegged as the N.L. favorites this season. Their pitching is already better than the Yankees, and the system is loaded with prospects.

Isn't this a few stations who carry his syndicated show? I don't think its the radio show itself which is being pulled. And I didn't see a single passage in the article referring to the FCC.

I THINK the PA Primary is held April 7th. Pennsylvania regulations require you to register 30 days before the election, so you have until about March 7 to register in order to vote in the primary. You have til October for the general election.

Yeah, I have a 7-10 class on Thursday which completely precludes me from attending a Thursday draft.

I can't help but wonder if there's more to the story. Did the kid read it DURING class? Was he told repeatedly to put it away, and refused? It doesn't sound complete.

They'd do an hour on Telemundo, followed by an hour and a half on NBC.

I have an idea. Instead of going in order, we all just make a pick a day, regardless of what order we're in. If you get here later in the day, you take a later pick. That way we'd guarantee ourselves a round a day.

Depends what Yahoo has available, but any night after 8pm seems suitable. Except for Thursday, as I have class.

I've had requests to do a live draft. I'll set up live drafts for the leagues on Yahoo if a majority is agreeable. Those who couldn't make it would draft automatically just as before.
