One of my trade magazines had an advertisement for cinnamon-sugared smoked bacon. I dont know if you can get it retail anywhere, as its strictly a food service product. Anyway.. Theres another super secret chili ingredient if anyones bold enough to try it.. Certain authentic chili powders have a hint of flavor to them, so its a natural fit even though it seems odd.

Directv has had the "Road to Wrestlemania Package" now for the past 2 or 3 years. This year it was $99 which is a pretty nice savings off of the $120 it would cost to order NYR, RR and NWO seperately.

I got to thinking about it.. My full name has 23 letters which seems pretty common, although I usually go by Matt instead of Matthew. My birthday adds up to 32 (5/25/1982) if you add the digits seperately..it a stretch that its 23 backwards but whatever. I graduated on 5/27/00 which adds up to 32. My drivers liscense had 4 sets of 3 digits, and 3 of the 4 sets add up to 23, the other set adds up to 24. The last 4 digits of my check card that always show up after all the ****'s on receipts add up to 23. I have 23 season passes set up on my tivo Theres probably more but thats all off the top of my head after looking.

Not Surprising. Especially since now that Benson's rehabing, Trachsel might not be a starter for more than a month. If Bensons rehab is successful, I cant see a spot in the rotation for Trachsel unless he's beyond awesome while he is a starter or someone gets hurt.

Look at the time..the date..and my post count. and I was going to go see The Number 23 later today despite mass critical panning. OOOH Link to screencap for future reference in case you're not on East Coast Time even wierder - this was post #2427188..add all the digits up and you get 32 which is 23 backwards! WOW!

Im hoping they get the 83 Os/Phillies Set out..even though Ive been watching the games on MASN Os Classic (or whatever its called). The Os/Nats preseason game is on MASN next Saturday at 1pm..YAY! I cant wait!

I made a mean pot of Shrimp Creole at Work on Tuesday for Mardi Gras. Im allergic to shellfish however, but I was able to skim off some of the creole part (basically tomatoes, peppers, celery, onions and creole seasoning thickened with a dark roux) before I added the shrimp to take home, and I cooked some chicken and made Chicken Creole to eat for dinner..um..last night it was now. Over some rice it was awesome.. For lunch yesterday I had two chicken salad sandwiches and some potato chips. Its a job perk that Im allowed to bring home food that I cook.

I wish I had seen this thread 3 weeks ago. Meat, if allowed to completely thaw, should be cooked before its frozen again to protect against bacteria that multiply while thawing since most people dont thaw meat properly (see below). Plus, refreezing and thawing again wrecks the structure of the meat and its going to just be nasty. BTW, proper thawing techniques: 1) In the fridge - even though it takes longer, this is the safest way to thaw meat 2) Under cold running water - this is faster, but you have to leave the water running and it has to be COLD..you cant just fill a sink up with cold water since the water will warm up and provide a breeding ground for bacteria. 3) Microwave - Id save this for the most dire situations, because it partially cooks the meat as it thaws and wrecks it 4) Those "miracle meat thawing" metal things - they dont work..dont bother NEVER EVER thaw meat by slapping it on the counter and leaving it out..you're just asking to get sick. And since thawing at room temperature takes longer than under cold running water, theres no reason to do it that way. I passed my ServSafe Certification Test with a 98%..I know what Im talking about.

Id be shocked if he doesnt go before I pick in RD 7, and I really have other positions to consider this round, so...I dunno. Theres no way in hell he's still around til RD 8 when I pick though.. Me running my mouth here, someones gonna dig a little bit and figure it out..I just know it.

I was looking at who to play next week and I decided to take Rated RKO over HBK/Cena to save a million bucks.. Plus, I found it funny that HBK outscored Cena by 1 point even though he didnt have a match, thanks in part to all those chairshots at the end.

I'm sure the WWE would love to lose about half their PPV revenue. Id be more inclined to rent the non major PPVs (Rumble/Mania/ONS(?),SummerSlam,Survivor Series) if they were $20 instead of $40. I FINALLY! got my $5 rebate for buying Wreckless Intent at Circuit City last May and renting One Night Stand in June. I had totally forgotten about it and given up on it. Yay for $5!
