Is anyone else getting the feeling that even if a woman invited Marvin in for "coffee", while she was taking her clothes off, he'd still say something like "I don't really like coffee, and even if I did, it's far too late for me to have coffee. You see the caffeine wouldn't let me sleep, and I have to be up early in the morning."? Well I really don't like coffee at any time, but I could tolerate it as long as Im not having to pay $4 a cup for it. I already said I wouldn't turn down an HDTV convention but the odds of there being one around here, let alone getting invited to one are slimmer than me walking outside right now and getting struck by lightning.

I thought about that but I didnt think it was a good idea (go figure).

Man's right. But wait a second..shes the one sending me emails just about every day..I think I have about 20 emails sitting in my gmail inbox just from her over the last two weeks. I dont mind the emails though so Im not complaining about that, but at least you should understand that its not me being the obsessed one here...which if you'll remember is why I thought I wouldn't hear from her when I didn't get an email from her last week for just one day.. And for what its worth, today she asked if I was going with my dad to the car show ("if so then may be i will bump into you") and I told her no cause Im not.. I should say its bad enough I have to spend Sunday with my dad for my birthday and I have to go to the NASCAR race up in Dover with him in a couple weeks, but we don't really get along at all which fits cause I dont get along with my mother either.

A) Bones getting stuck on Friday the 2nd half of the year will kill it so I hope they can find a way to leave it on Wednesday. B) Prison Break + 24 = awesome, but I knew they wouldn't find a way to do it again next season. C) I might be interested in Vanished but I doubt it. Standoff..no..Justice..no.. and apparently the scripts for the first 4 episodes of 24 for next year are already written..hmm.

I Wouldnt go around bragging about that. I have directv Total Choice + with HD channels. Theres probably at least 100 channels I haven't watched in 6 months though and I dont know of any channels that Im missing..other than the ones in HD that I want..

I used to watch ECW at 2am Saturday night (well technically sunday morning..) on America One. They used to also air a bunch of other odd wrestling shows..they even were airing XPW at one point.

Im interested in Jericho.. And oddly thats really the only new show so far that I can say Im interested in based on reading about it..

With most programs that are aired to be viewed in both HD and SD, they have HD cameras and then crop the image for SD (or in some cases like NBC they at least feed the SD version in Widescreen with bars at the top and bottom)..which might result in a better image in SD as well but I dont know that for a fact. As far as Lost not being true HD..I dont watch it, but Im sure that its HD even if you see fuzziness..the fuzziness is probably intentional.

So Im watching St. Louis/NYM on ESPN, cause its in HD and I've got mulder on my fantasy team, and Im finally bugged enough to ask why that whole section of seats in Left Field is empty all the time?

OLN carrying games made sense because Comcast wanted to change it into a sports network to rival ESPN and that was the biggest sports property contract available at the time although they tried to get NFL but failed.. hell, they are even changing the name to "Versus" in September. Oh, and I feel so bad for the people that don't get SciFi..not.. I was worried that ECW was going to be internet only and with my slow connection I'd never be able to watch it...combine that with me losing Smackdown come the fall when UPN goes away and I was seriously considering just quitting watching WWE altogether because if I can only watch RAW..when theres SD and ECW going on then whats the point..?

I didnt exactly get the "would you like to go with me" idea from that email, and plus I know next to nothing about cars and I remember going down there a couple years ago with my dad and being bored to death. Now if it were and HDTV Show..er..I'll shut up.

Obviously directed towards me..I dont care since Im destined to finish somewhere around the bottom anyway, you'd be a fool to copy my roster.

This is almost unheard of lately for an Os SP to go 7 innings. Id hope they let Bedard go in the 8th just to give the bullpen some rest and let Ray go after it in the 9th..

I went ahead and sent her another email and basically said that while Im sure she enjoys talking with me over the net, I was begging to feel that she had no intentions of actually wanting to meet me and if that was the case I would like to know now as opposed to getting strung along even though I dont mind chatting with her.. Hockey on HDNet was awesome..In general all of HDNets sports programming (NHL/MLS/Boxing/WEC) is awesome because they don't frame the shot for 4:3 first..I've seen NHL games on OLNHD (directv carried a few of the HD Games on a special channel) and on NBC and they looked good but not as good as HDNets coverage. And everything wont be in HD by 2009. Over the air broadcasts will have to be broadcast digitally by 2009, but remember this: HD = Digital but Digital =/= HD Cable can still be analog as well. It will be a tough sell for most networks to upgrade to HD given the costs...and there are some networks that may never be in HD (Cartoon Network comes to mind immediately)..

They have spots now that are wierd images/scenes with the tagline "Sci Fi" which changes to "iF" now so I guess they haven't made it too far..

They can... A. Fail to score enough runs. B. Allow too many runs. C. Both A & B. D. Forfeit. I was thinking more along the lines of Bedard can't even go 3 innings, pitchers issue 12 walks..offense sputters if they actually do get a decent outing out of Bedard...that kind of thing. It looks like offense sputtering is the answer so far.

Im only going with 3 starters right now and I didnt even think about the min. innings..I might be screwed this week..well maybe I'll luck out. I've still got Mulder tonight, Sele Friday and Capuano Sunday. If they all go 6, I should pull it out. I was so happy that I was able to pick up a 2nd closer in Tyler Walker who has settled in as TB's closer. Oh, and thats one Big Ass trade between Boras and Pawtucket..

They also run Bravo although I dont think wrestling fits in on Bravo. I cant wait for the taglines.. ECW on SCI FI...no you won't see Captain Kirk battle Darth Vader in a steel cage match..
