I just had the bright idea that the way they write out Batista of the SS match is have him get run over in the parking garage a la Austin at SS, given that its even the same arena and everything. Then they could pull a Bash at the Beach thing were Team SD comes out only 4 strong, and then towards the end Taker comes out but only to eliminate Orton who is on Team SD..and then on SD he comes out and claims no loyalty to either RAW or Smackdown, he just wants to settle it with Orton.

Well they did it at this years NYR as well so its not surprising.

FWIW, I had my launch purple Gamecube stolen along with Super Monkey Ball (the game I had in it at the time). I was pissed..but I wasn't able to do anything about it besides go buy a new one. I also had my original Game Boy stolen along with about 20 games. the cops eventually caught the guy that had been stealing stuff in the neighborhood, and no one owned up to owning all the GB stuff he stole, so I got my GB and games back along with a whole bunch of accessories and about 15 more games. Too bad the idiot fucked up the Game Boy itself and it didn't work anymore after I got it back. Coincidentally this was around the time they released the Game Boy pocket, but I never bought a replacement.

I actually used it as an excuse to start shopping..cause I've procrastinated more than usual this year and I got a good deal done today although I've still got a lot left. Going to Wal Mart at 5am was a poor decision, only did it because it was open at 5am and nothing else was open til 6. Once I got out of there it was smooth sailing for the rest of the morning til I had to go to work at noon. But oddly enough, in the last week, I've spent a good deal of money on myself at Target (Seasons 5/6 of Seinfeld ($60), Season 3 of Family Guy ($7 with $10 worth of giftcards from Buying the Seinfeld sets)...luckily I was smart to drop hints that I wanted Volume 3 of Family Guy (this Tuesday) Season 4 of 24 (December 6), and Season 7 of the Simpsons (December 13) although Im a bit worried I'll have to return the Simpsons set because I wasn't specific that I wanted the regular box, not the Marge head thing)..damn the companies for releasing all that good TV on DVD within a 4 week span.

Does he have the new Ipod Video..and you should tell him about the rumored new Nanos coming out early next year as well. I bet he'll love that. .. Anyway..Im trying to figure out what rushing the launch to have it out by the holidays and before the PS3 has accomplished for Microsoft. 1 - shortage of units. I've heard some stores aren't getting any more consoles for the rest of the year, and it will be next year before a lot of stores get any more at all, and MARCH before most stores see a steady flow of systems that wont sell out at first sight. Hmm..when's the PS3 rumored PS3 launch window?? MARCH! 2 - an atypical amount of 360's with problems. If even the 7% is right, thats way higher than the 2% companies shoot for. I dont think Microsoft did much "real world testing" with the 360 before they released it, which probably would have led them to figure out most people stash their electronic stuff in areas where it they get a lot of air ventilation. I know I pulled the back of my entertainment stand out to keep the air flowing to my HD-Directivo because of all the over heating problems it supposedly has..but how many people are willing to do that? 3 - negative word of mouth over shortages and console problems > positive word of mouth over how great the system is. What good is positive word of mouth "____ is the best game ever!" if no one can get a 360 to play it, it just sounds like bragging "Ive got a 360 and you dont..ha ha". 4 - stores are going to have problems keeping sections of their stores devoted to 360 games/accessories. I cant see them making much more money selling these things through the holidays, and stores need to be selling stuff, not just watching it sit and collect dust.

Thats the million dollar (err..$30) question.. I have no idea other than its somewhere on Targets website (joystiq article in first post has a link I think) but I think theres supposed to be an actual catalog as well and Id rather have a real catalog than a printout, although I might have to settle for a website printout..

In an update, supposedly its hit or miss with stores honoring the price if you bring the catalog, copy of it in, but Target is acknowledging that its a price mistake probably with the GBA Micro, but its only good until December 12th. I was out there this morning, I didnt see any DS's..so I guess I wait, and also to scrounge around for a catalog somewhere.

Apparently PGR3 is crashing for some people as well. "OOH. Look at the nice.. *CRASH..REBOOT* Graphics.." Sounds like fun. Id be pissed if I spent big money on one of these to have it do that, but the cardinal rule of consoles is the first few probably arent the best..
