Northern Virgina has the best stadium package on the table as they have a 42,500 seat stadium proposed to be built close to Dulles Airport that will be built fully without any increased taxes. The catch, and theres always a catch, is that it wont be ready until 2008 and the team would have to play at RFK for 3 years, which would surely not please Peter Angelos. I have a hard time believing the Northern VA people saying that they wont target the baltimore area when they will have the team playing at RFK for 3 years.

I do have a sort of bad feeling about the whole "change the way video games are played" spiel, I got a vivid picture of some sort of Virtual Boy 2 thing when I first read that. Id like to know how they can combine a video game system, a DVR and a DVD burner in the same box for $300. $499 would sound about right given current prices for those DVRs and DVD burners. Granted prices will come down on both technologies, but I cant see it being enough to get the price down to $299. As for combining all of those features into one box, it just adds more things that can break or not work to cause the whole thing to not work. Plus, by 2006 there will be HD DVRs and Dual Layer DVD burners which will blow away whatever Sony puts into the PS3. And you know my stance on Video Game systems, I still don't understand why you would want a video game system to do anything more than play games, which includes function as a DVD player. If the price for the system can be kept down by not including such frivilous features then Im all for it (and I think thats Nintendo's thinking too).

Edited for accuracy I dont really think embryos are developed enough to be considered life forms but I can see where that would be a debatable topic. Im for the research though since theres the potential for one of those embryos to save the lives of millions of people.

Im so glad I opted to spend $20 to go to the RAW house show at 2pm here Sunday instead of more for a ticket to GAB in Norfolk over 3 1/2 hours away. I would be pissed off right about now. I didn't get G4 last year so I hadn't seen the first show. I would have dumped Mobile Phone game (OMG NGage might win an award..) for Best Fighting Game and Hottest Character for Best Strategy/Simulation Game.
