I can see where this is headed. Just like in the NFL League where I staged an awesome comeback over the last several weeks of the season, only to come up a few points shot of the playoffs, I am again doing the same thing in the NBA league. Im probably going to finish mere percentage points behind whatever team finishes in 6th. This coming of a year where I finished in 2nd in the MLB and NBA leagues..

I never did understand the ending, but it makes sense that it was changed from the original because of Donald Pleasence's death. The ending in this cut is better but its still ultimately stupid.

Im for the 2nd PPV in June if its going to be in Norfolk. Thats only about a 2 hour 15 minute drive from here, and $20 bucks in toll for the Tunnel. I might start saving up for it.

You can make your own much cheaper. From Jell-O's website: JELL-O® Homemade Pudding Pops Prep Time: 10 min Total Time: 5 hr 10 min Makes: 6 servings, 1 pop each Ingredients 2 cups cold 2% milk 1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Instant Pudding & Pie Filling, any flavor POUR cold milk into medium bowl. Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes. Spoon into 6 (5-oz.) paper or plastic cups. Insert wooden pop stick or plastic spoon into each for handle. FREEZE 5 hours or until firm. To remove pop from cup, place bottom of cup under warm running water for 15 seconds. Press firmly on bottom of cup to release pop. (Do not twist or pull pop stick.) Store leftover pops in freezer.

AFC games on CBS and NFC games on Fox doesn't need to change. I wouldn't mind later starting games on Sunday. Starting the season later wouldnt be a bad thing either. Football on Thursday night works as a gimmick durring the first week or near the end of the season, but not a full season deal. If they have to do Thursday night games, I would hope that TNT got them because TNT had football at one point and they do a decent job of covering the NBA and NASCAR now. And if theres football on Thursday night, I would guarantee that Vince would have to move Smackdown to Wednesday night and probably as a live show which would piss me off (because I wouldn't be able to watch it) so I say no to any football on Thursday.

The worst thing is that I see this trend continuing, and the government is going to eventually find away to control content on the internet. Because honestly, whats on the internet is 10,000x worse than whats on Network primetime that most kids aren't even watching anyway. Its not going to take long.

uh.. I do. If anything this is going to capture the "spirit" of the original Japanese version more because its actually being done for the food network fan who watches the original. The first American version on UPN was nothing more than an attempt to ride the popularity of the Japanese show and there wasn't even a real emphasis on the cooking/food aspect as there was in the original.

Youd still end up paying about $10 for it shipped though. Thats where I got it for $5 shipped back in december as I was able to stack 2 $10 off coupons, but the $15 codes don't stack.

uh.. Alton isn't going to be the Chairman Kaga character. He's playing the role of Dr. Yukio Hatori who was the main commentator and always wore a nice black suit. I can't see Alton wearing the suit, but I cant see him wearing one of his many wierd looking shirts either.. Im sure if they carry over any of the Iron Chefs from the original show that they will have their same colorful chef outfits though. And I just realized that Alton Brown had an episode of Good Eats that was a parody of Iron Chef "Scrap Iron Chef" where he made and cooked home-made bacon in a junkyard using a bunch of stuff in the junkyard.

For the 1 person out there who might care.. Good Eats (hosted by Alton Brown) is my favorite show and I think he'll do well. I still watch the reruns of Iron Chef as it is (although they've cut back on them). Im glad they realized that involving Shatner was a stupid idea. Now the question I've got to wonder is whether or not they'll let Bobby Flay give it another go or not. I certainly hope not.. *doesn't jump up and down on his cutting board/table in the excitement*

You know who's ultimately to blame for this whole thing? George W Bush Seriously, in the 8 years Clinton had in office, the FCC completely backed off of pursuing must minor indecency charges against Radio/TV (mainly against the pornography industry, but its all the same really) As soon as Bush took office, one of the first things he did was to get the FCC to go back after pornographers. Its just a logical next step that the FCC would see some of the stuff thats aired on TV/Radio and decide that it needed to be cleaned up as well, after about 8 years of being allowed almost free reign. Its also why some of the stuff that some people have been doing for several years is now not allowed. And if you really want to buy into a conspiracy theory, some say that Janet/Justin were paid off by the government to do what they did at the Super Bowl so the FCC could step in and say that they needed to exert more power over the TV networks because of what was being allowed to air.

I saw on the news today where a "Female Survivor All Star" ends up quiting next week due to an incident on tonights show. Feeling bored enough to sit through and watch it tonight, its Sue and they showed her arguing next week, well she ends up quiting as well because of Rich rubbing his privates on her during the one challenge. Shes also threatening to sue just about everyone she can. Fun. If anyone is in a contest, Sue is the next one to leave, although she doesn't get voted out.
