RIP Godfather of Soul. -In lighter news, I had a decent Christmas. Got an IPod, a CD, and a T-Shirt. I wasn't feeling too festive, since I've had some problems sleeping. I'm currently wondering why I never got an IPod earlier, because this thing rules. -"The Descent" is out on DVD today. If you haven't seen it, be sure to see it, because it's the best damn horror movie you are going to see all year. -Religious Groups got their panties in a bunch over the remake of "Black Christmas" that's out right now. That reminds me, did anyone see it? I would, but I usually hate the idea of remaking a classic. Granted, there's some good remakes out there, but still... I'm sure it's better than "Turistas"

I normally don't agree with Invader3k, but I agree with him here. Seriously, everytime C-Bacon posts here, it's to let us know that he thinks America is responsible for every bad thing that happens, or that the U.S. is an imperialist nation and nothing more. C-Bacon, you make me embarressed to have liberal viewpoints. I know you think I'm a conservative, but I'm not, I'm a moderate Liberal. I'm Pro-Choice, I hate the patriot act, I'm Pro Gay marriage and pro gay adoption, I support seperation of church and state, I hate the Bush administration, I hate the war in Iraq, I think the Bush administration could have done more to prevent 9/11...the list goes on. I don't however, pop a boner over Imperialsim because of Chomsky, because I never read the guy, and because I don't want to come off as over-reactionary. And I don't find ways to blame the U.S. over every bad thing that happens in the world. I at least manage to try to be level headed.

Sexyback is one of the best songs of the year. Not the best (Peeping Tom's Mojo is the best) but one of the best. The production, the singing, the lyrics...all gold, and I don't care what anyone says. I might just end up getting that album...

I actually like it more than Cosmos. One review I read said it sounds like Rush in their prime if they did an album without guitars or vocals. So yeah, it's great stuff, IMO.

Yeah, that's what I want to hear when I wake up on Christmas. Alot of the music we listen to (Everything from Hip Hop to the Talking Heads) wouldn't exist or be the same without him. RIP Sex Machine.

Well, I gave the new LCD soundsystem a listen after getting it off ITunes. I like it more than their first album, but it's not going to beat out Motor's Klunk in my eyes.
