I agree with you. I think they intended for this Doom to be the one that made his 1st appearance back in FF vol. 1 #5. I suspect that he will be more like the comic book version in the sequel.

It's a shame they didn't release No Way Out 2001 on DVD. That would've been an essential DVD for sure. Just check out the fatal four-way IC title match, along with the Stone Cold/HHH "3 stages of Hell" match.

According to Amazon.com, the DVD won't be released until September 6th.

We might get to see it, but not anytime soon. Eddie needs to culminate his feud with Rey, while Benoit is stuck in a feud with the wrestling god.

Personally, I'm hoping for Anarchy Rulz in October. To me, it's special because it was the PPV where Taz made one of his last ECW appearances ans also because it was the PPV where Jerry Lynn won the ECW Heavyweight title.

It's shaping up to be a good story, but I still don't get why everybody needs to be involved in the story. I mean, the Hulk?! the FF?! Come on!!

I could see Kurt Angle being the one that breaks the Masterlock, after he gets drafted to Raw.

The DQ finish only means that the feud will culminate at the Next PPV (GAB) in a specialty match.

More On TNA Stars At ECW PPV; Not Happening Dusty Rhodes made some comments last week on the LAW radio show in which he said TNA workers would be able to work the ECW PPV. Numerous sources within both WWE and TNA have stated there are no plans for TNA performers to be used on the PPV. Tommy Dreamer contacted Shane Douglas several months ago about the possibility of using some of the TNA stars at the PPV but it never got past the talking stages. The plans and performers for the ECW PPV have already been submitted and they don't call for any TNA performers. (Partial Source: PWInsider) I really have to stop being the bearer of bad news. This blows.

Chris Kreski, who was one of the main guys who replaced Vince Russo and Ed Ferrara, passed away yesterday of cancer at age 42. Kreski didn't have cancer when he worked for WWE and left the company to pursue other opportunities. Stephanie McMahon then replaced him as head writer. There goes the only chance Vince had to do things right. Rest in peace, Mr. Kreski.
