What killed me about that whole "shoot" section is that they were harping on about every single thing people on here were bitching about. Obviously they are hearing, somehow, the gripes of either their audience or their internet fans, I'm not sure. Vince going out there and telling people, "I tell you what to like, you will like my skits, not wrestling"... I dunno. Too pointed. Too pointed.

Look, I think we can ALL agree on something. If we can't all conceed that the PS3 is an overpriced piece of shit, at least we can agree that it is OVERPRICED? Clearly these units are not moving at the rate they were moving as preorders, when people were seeing them as sources of profit, not gaming. Sony found the magic number, and it seems to be $500. Then again if they had launched with, I don't know, one MUST HAVE game, this would all be avoided. A Final Fantasy, MGS, or SOMETHING. It would move units, and auxillary games like the ones that are actually out now, would have a greater chance of moving.

I still think that at least 50% of GT's hype and sales are based upon how freakin' good GT1 was. Every itineration has seemed worse by comparison, let alone better...

I sat and stared at one (actually three, or maybe five) at Target today. I tried to play a demo game to show willing, but they're only showing videos I WAS actually there to see if they had any Wiis hidden away, but that's a whole 'nother thread, now isn't it? I have to say that going to the GameStop in my area, I never, ever get the hard sell for anything. Maybe the manager just doesn't care, or maybe because it is in a slightly ghetto part of town (such as it is) they don't try to sling as much pointless shit? I dunno. But I usually just go up there with my game, and leave. They don't even ask me if I want anything else...
