Jeff Hardy Strikes Out for the Final Time?
Lt. Al Giardello replied to zappafrank's topic in The WWE Folder
If this is true, then Jeff Hardy is a moron... Enjoy your career in the indies when you could've had a chance to become a huge star. -

UFC 91: Couture vs Lesnar
Lt. Al Giardello replied to BruteSquad_BRODY's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
C'mon dude, what fights were you watching? Rampage was winning both fights until he got caught in the clinch. In the 1st fight, he took down Wanderlei, and wasn't just "holding him down"... But blooding him and constantly throwing strikes, until the referee stood them up which was bullshit. Rampage was being active on the ground. In the 2nd fight, Rampage stunned and floored Wanderlei, and was beating on Wanderlei until the 2nd round, when Wanderlei found a way up and caught Rampage in the clinch. I take nothing away from Wandy's wins, but don't act like it was a complete blowout, because it wasn't. Either way, the fact is Rampage HAS to be better in the clinch, regardless of the controversey surrounding those fights, either it's "doping" or bullshit refing. I still think he will win this time around... He will be able to do more on the ground without having a stupid referee standing them up when it's not needed. Plus he's a lot more smarter fighter nowadays, he's alot more improved defensive minded fighter. -
I know everyone on the net is creaming their pants over the Nogueria, Silva, Machida coaching team... But people are overlooking, Frank Mir also has some pretty great asisstant coaches. He has Robert Drysdale as one of his asisstant coaches, and he is considered to be the best BJJ grappler in the world today. I always felt Frank Mir would be a great coach. He's not an ego-maniac, and is an extremely intelligent guy. It seems like after his fighter career is done, coaching will be his calling.

Yeah because, Marky Mark, Jennifer Connelly, and Alec Baldwin are soooooooo black, right?

I want to see someone who needs it, breaks it. You can't compare this to Ric Flair's final match... Although Flair's retirement match was touching, and a great moment, he hasn't been built strong for years before that. He lost to likes of Carlito, Rico, Kenny Dykstra etc. Taker is still being built like a main eventer, and will likely still be until the day he retires. So him losing to an established star is fucking retarded. I don't care if you hate Taker and his streak. It's the best thing for the company.

Can people who are not in the draft not post in here? Thank you.

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread

Did he pistol whip Rich Clementi? -
But Undertaker can put over wrestlers without really jobbing to them. Part of the reason Cena became the star he is now was because of the Undertaker feud IMO, although he lost that feud, Taker allowed Cena to hang with him and brought a really good match out of a green John Cena (Although some would argue, that Angle did more for Cena's career, and I would agree). He put over Brock Lesnar really well, even Kennedy in my opinion. After the feud with Taker, Kennedy was at the highest point of his career and people were calling for him to be the next world champion. But Kennedy fucked it up himself by getting injured, and becoming stale. Plus who could ever forget the whole Royal Rumble 2002, Maven incident... You can't say you didn't mark the fuck out at that.

I think I'm going to have to co-sign this statement. It will be utter bullshit.

I've heard of Antwain Britt and seen a few of his fights... He has good stand up, not so good ground game. But most of his fights were at Heavyweight, so a cut down to 205 should help him. I expect him to atleast make the house.

Am I the only one who doesn't get the Ronnie love? He's pretty bland to me.
