  1. Great Sasuke was on ECW Barely Legal '97. Mil Mascaras did some events in early-90's WCW, but that might have just been a Clash Of The Champions. He wrestled Cactus Jack at any rate. Cheers.
  2. Wasn't Jerry Lynn 235 lbs when he beat Crash Holly for the title in 2001?
  3. The 1985 Wrestling Classic was never released in the UK, although all other WWE PPV's have been.
  4. If I can do anything to help then I would like to. Drop me a PM if you like.
  5. I knew it was a work from the beginning, although I didn't know all the terms and stuff. I started watching in around 1982 or 1983, and stopped watching after WrestleMania IX, simply due to the stupidity of the event. I caught the odd event over the years, but I think it was King Of The Ring '98 when I started watching again from time to time. In 2000 I was really enjoying it, and started tracking down the events I had missed from Ebay.
  6. Cornette's is the greatest. Raven and Christopher Daniels both have a great insight into the business, as does Disco Inferno. Bret Hart's is good too. Jake Roberts' is disturbing on many levels. HBK talks crap. The Road Warriors are very no-hold-barred. I've probably seen 40 or 50 of them, but these are the ones that stand out the most to me. OK.
  7. End of an era...
  8. Exactly. It's a type of snake venom (Jake The Snake.)
  9. Yep, Dragon Master was Kendo Nagasaki.
  10. I hope it doesn't... they could end up blaming it all on Eddie.
  11. I'll give credit to Joey for sticking to his guns, although I don't check the site very often.
  12. How about The Genius? The Bushwackers? Prince Nana?
  13. Rockers vs Rougeau Brothers from one of the UK or European tour tapes. It might have been on the Battle Royale at the Albert Hall tape actually.
  14. It's an awesome event.
  15. A guy I worked with used to say that none of the McMahon's are related.
  16. Flair did some work too. Give him some credit for doing as much as he can at age 54(55?). Yep, I thought Flair was a major part of that match too.
  17. Okay, weird question I know, but I was wondering which wrestlers wear glasses outside of the ring. I've seen footage of RVD and Trish wearing glasses, and I've met Jerry Lynn enough times to know that he wears them. Who else is there?
  18. House show highlights have turned up on compilation tapes before, so anything's possible, although FWA are behind schedule on producing the tapes for the main shows at the moment. All said though, they do a great job with the tapes that do come out. All FWA title matches are 2 out of 3 falls now, by the way, which includes matches against American Dragon, James Tighe and Steve Corino.
  19. This show looks like it's gonna suck. Prove me wrong WWE. Prove me wrong.
  20. Well, I was there (as always) and it was an okay show. 1. James Tighe vs Mark Belton was a good opener. 2. Aviv Mayaan showed potential against Mark Sloan. 3. X-Dream vs Jonny Storm was entertaining without being as good as I hoped for. 4. The tag team match did what it was supposed to do, nothing more. 5. Raven vs C M Punk was frankly a disppointment. 6. Alex Shane vs Jack Xavier was also disappointing. 7. Hade Vansen vs Zebra Kid was stiff but had a bullshit finish. 8. Doug Williams vs Steve Corino was really good though. Not as good as some of their other shows, particularly British Uprising I, Season's Beatings '02, Crunch '03 and Vendetta '03. OK.
  21. No Way Out 2001 and WrestleMania X-Seven are probably my favourites, and I've seen all of them.

    Faarooq released

Undertaker or Booker...both are 39 I believe. Nah, Rico and Ivory are both 42.

    WWE UK tour 2004

Well, I went to Insurrextion '02, which should have been more significant than an average house show, since it was a PPV in the UK. The only good match was RVD vs Eddie, which was about ***.
  24. Bret, not Brett! Dynamite Kid was the real worker in the British Bulldogs, and they had some great matches, although most of them were in Japan and Stampede.
  25. I wouldn't want them to use up a whole hour on one match to be honest. I presume they'd show highlights in a build-up to the WrestleMania match.
