  1. His copyrighted tattoos might be a problem.
  2. Well, I'd hope she could do as well or better in Japan with her wrestling ability. I understand AJW is done, but aren't there any other opportunities for her?
  3. Gee, who saw THAT answer coming?
  4. The match would be horrible. Michaels in his prime could probably work with it, and he still breaks out some of that magic in the big ones, but Hogan looked horribly out of shape at Mania, in far worse shape than he was in 2002. The only thing that could save it is Hogan/Rock level heat, which isn't out of the question, but a lot to ask. I can only hope Hogan is doing some crash-course training to get back into ring shape, especially since he knows there's a chance they will book Hogan-HBK. If he shows up in less-than-stellar shape at Backlash, he probably won't get the HBK match/payday and it would be his own damn fault.
  5. Because Regal is treated like Eddie Guererro: it's OKAY when his team cheats. And it's also funny that the referee actually cared about who the legal man was (for the first time since 1995).
  6. I figured it would work because it would give the SmackDown! Divas a purpose, at least. Think about it in storyline terms: these women don't manage anyone, only wrestle once every few months, and seem to have been hired solely to do bikini contests and photo shoots. Logically, what reason do they have to have jobs? I figure if they do battle for the Women's title at least there is a reason behind having Dawn Marie face Michelle McCool in a bikini match or whatever. Also, I don't think travel would be an issue, since the Women's title is almost never defended on TV. I'd expect the champ to alternate every week or so with a brand, switching over on Sunday/Monday so she can be on either RAW or SmackDown! that week. I'm assuming that the title won't be booked on both RAW and SmackDown! in the same week, which I think is a fair assumption.
  7. You're friggin' nuts. Chris Masters? Future of Raw? No fucking way. To be fair, Masters has a good look and is VERY young (not even 22), so there's room for improvement - 6-8 years worth of room even.
  8. Jannetty won't be used on TV until he has completed all his indy committments made prior to his signing.
  9. Well, that answers my question.
  10. Let's face it, the women's division on RAW is dead as fuck. There are trained women, however, on SmackDown!. Therefore, to ensure the title doesn't become totally meaningless, I propose the Women's title revert to its status from April-August 2002: namely, an interbrand title. Of course, to do this for the Women's title alone would give away the fact that the division is dead. Therefore, I suggest that SmackDown!'s exclusive title - the Cruiserweight title - become an interbrand title as well. That way, both brands have 3 brand-exclusive titles and 2 floating titles. What do you think?
  11. He is on the active roster.
  12. Remember, Trish was at about Christy's skill level when she won the Women's title in November of 2001. A lot of people were upset with that booking decision due to Trish's relative inexperience, but Trish gutted it out, worked hard, and today *is* the women's division.
  13. I find it funny that they fired her the night after she got pinned in her first appearance on RAW in a long time. Hopefully she will be able to make a name for herself in Japan before she gets too old; at least I'd assume that's the reasoning behind her decision to leave.
  14. I'm assuming Hogan/HBK win the match and there will be much rejoicing. Then, Marty will come out the next night on RAW, pissed that Shawn overlooked him for Hogan ("You always overlooked me, your own tag team partner!"). Boom, instant feud to carry us through until Vengeance in late June. OR Hogan/HBK lose the match due to miscommunication and come to blows, setting up Hogan-HBK at Vengeance in late June. You could add HBK-Marty in after that for a SummerSlam feud.
  15. Amen, especially since he had been working on his return vignettes and someone had reported that the WWE higher-ups thought they were really good. I guess he just finally decided not to even bother. He'll do all right, what with all the money he saved during his career (not to mention the big check TNA's already got coming to him).
  16. Don't forget today's Highlight Reel, Cafe' de Rene, and Carlito's Cabana.
  17. I think someone on this board talked about how he should come back as a heel manager hellbent on getting revenge on the company that ended his career. You could start it be rehiring Dlo and then have Droz comment on it on Byte This, only to hang up. Then he comes back and manages some OVW team and tears shit up on SmackDown. That was such a great idea, and now that someone said Dlo and Droz get along, wouldnt it be great to sign up Dlo as a face trying to end Droz's evil heel stable? You end the angle with Droz finally forgiving Dlo and the WWE for his injury.
  18. Yes, it was from Feb-April 2000. Saturday Night was booked by Jimmy Hart at this time and was pretty much allowed to do its own thing independent of Nitro storylines. Ergo, they decided to give the show its own title in the form of the just-killed-off TV Title. As you'll see below, the title was defended a few times at house shows as well. Having written the complete WCW TV Title match history, I can say with some authority what all the WCW TV Title matches of that time were. The two-a-day defenses were at Saturday Night tapings. 19. Bonus points for mentioning SD Jones AND Steve Gatorwolf.
  20. Reigns showing flashes of personality here. Seeing JBL's matchup screen sans title belt is really weird.
  21. Goddamn, that's a lot of blood.
  22. I like how JBL talks down to the other 5 guys he same way he talks down to the fans.
  23. The cook and the thief were unavailable for comment.
