  1. WrestleMania starts at 7pm EST tonight.
  2. There's a finite amount of wrestling media they can use; why not use it for maximum profit?
  3. I think that would be the best way to do it...especially poetic with Cena winning the first match at WM20 and the last match at WM21.
  4. I just realized one reason to put this match on Heat.... Save time on the 25-28 entrances by going to commercial.
  5. 1. I registered there to ask about it, yeah. 2. I wish. Nope, I've got front-row seats to college I've got to pay for first.
  6. I agree, seeing Carlito win would be great. They could use this match to give someone a big push.
  7. I think so, since Taker-HHH was announced as the main event on week 1 of the brand split. Then they decided against it and explained it away by saying that the person who got to draft first also got to pick the #1 contender for Backlash. SmackDown! won the first draft pick, so Vince got to choose first. Of course, this would have worked had they explained that part of the stipulation BEFORE the draft or had even mentioned it before Flair picked Taker to face HHH. Instead, they added this stipulation into the storyline retroactively.
  8. On SmackDown!.
  9. Why is it that the time is always taken away from the matches you want to see? This could take time away from, say, the Piper's Pit segment that I wouldn't pay to see. Oh boy, 2 retired guys putting themselves over! At least Christy-Trish has 'potential clusterfuck' entertainment value. Also, it's good to see that no one wants to see Hurricane, London, Dupree, Booker T, etc. After all, you said it, so it MUST be true.
  10. I figured it would be lazy booking for that week's post-WM TV. I was thinking maybe a IC or US title shot, but OJ would probably be in this match so it wouldn't make sense.
  11. Undertaker vs. Steve Austin - Over the Edge 1999 26.7 MB, 32:56 (with buildup video and entrances)
  12. Well, I think it's a safe bet they'll give a title shot to the winner on RAW or SD! or something like that, though that hasn't been announced yet.
  13. They did one of these on the WMXV Heat too, so there is a precedent. Hopefully this one will last longer than 4:16 like that one was, though.
  14. Shadow's lineup sounds about right to me, though methinks Masters or Coach should be replaced by Marty Jannetty.
  15. The WrestleMania Webcast Bonus Matches:
  16. Pukeboy? That just SCREAMS credibility. Learn to read.
  17. I, for one, am very happy that this match (which looks to be legit) has been added to the card.
  18. We need a huge friggin' trophy up for grabs for this one.
  19. I think it's legit. The quote is part of a report on the THQ Superstar Challenge Read for yourself. The writer of the report: "We dont play April Fools Jokes here at Gamingring.com. Its a waste of time and it serves no purpose but to piss people off who come for the news. "
  20. GamingRing.com is a real site that has an online radio show. PWinsider is claiming they won't be running any fake news today.
  21. Wait, just because it's April 1 doesn't necessarily mean this is fake. It's a quote attributed to 'Hurricane'....is that Shane Helms or some writer called Hurricane?
  22. It must suck being that guy who bought ALL the other domains of Wrestlecrap. /almost won the auction for them //guy paid $90 for them all, got $5 in auction ///nothing like losing $85 to protect a website from a fucking April Fool's joke
  23. No, not really. He was funny, yeah, but I didn't really hear his stuff until last year I think. A very talented comedian who will be missed.
  24. Well yeah, but it sticks out for me in particular because I had always been a very big WWE fan, as were many of my classmates in school. I was one of those guys who NEVER missed a minute of WWE TV from 1992 on. It's one of the few things that sticks out from that period of my life in part because wrestling was a much bigger part of my life then than it is now. I'm not going to say that I was Owen's #1 fan or anything, but his was the first real tragic death I had experienced in my life. I had experienced death in my family, yeah, but it was from old age, not freak accidents. It was especially tough for me to take because, well, I was the only one of my friends who didn't crack jokes about it all day. If this event meant more to me than it did to you, well, that's called a difference in opinion. We all remember things in a different way; I'm just telling you the way I felt without embellishment or BS. I'm not here to be cool or part of the in crowd here at TSM; if I was, I would have done something about it by now, don't you think? I like WWE wrestling, therefore I like posting in the WWE folder. Getting banned from there without what I considered just cause made me angry.
