New Jack retires from pro wrestling
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
New Jack was by no means a wrestler, but damn he could be entertaining as hell and he did his gimmick perfectly. -
Maybe those two are Teddy's biggest heros? Sometimes a prop is just a prop...

find a way to bring back The Upright Man with you.

Found a pretty good wrestling media site
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye replied to BorneAgain's topic in General Wrestling
The official media thread is right above this one yo. -
Bump! This site is now updated with this years hultsfred streams. Hatebreed, Soulfly, and Dillinger Escape Plan are now showing on the site linked above. The site is in Swedish and you have to log in to view shows. But I'm sure you all can handle that, right?

BB, I hear that Playboy has hot girls pictures sometimes. Someone else may have to chime in with confirmation though.

Further to my previous post, along with agreement to Banky's. I am completely convinced that in 5-10 years, Maven is going to be an hell of a performer who can handle almost any position he's given in the company. He's shown that he can connect to the crowd, and he clearly has a good look and already decent ring ability. Boils down to some people not seeing that these TE kids are thrown right into the fire when they are clearly not ready and told to make the most of it. Maven is well on his way to doing so. As long as he stays healthy.
-
So....why do we have to hate him now? Anyway, Maven's progress is remarkable considering he was put in a position that it takes the average wrestler nearly a decade to learn. Of course he's not going to set the world on fire this early.

As modern man expands it's boundaries, it's natural that some Cockstriders will eventually cross paths with humans when they pass through the gateways between Netheril and our realm. In ancient times, it was said that they could cross over into lands that were never seen by human eyes. With our population and technology expanding the way it is, sometimes, these mystical creatures will come into intimate contact with a human. Being that these creatures are naturally very passive and friendly, they can wind up being taken advantage of by humans for the purposes of food, transportation, and newly arising sexual fetishes as you can see in that link.

Nile vocalist/guitarist to put out solo CD
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye replied to Nevermortal's topic in Music
Oh man, Viking bands. How do I love thee...let me count the ways... Enslaved, Burzum, Bathory, oh well. those are the only ones I can think of currently that I love. But that's good enough. -
Nile vocalist/guitarist to put out solo CD
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye replied to Nevermortal's topic in Music
This forum keeps Nile in my regular rotation. I never listen to them outside of the music folder here. They come up in subject so often that when I read it I instantly have to put on 'Darkened Shrines" and kill myself. I'm pretty sure that Unas, Slayer Of Gods is the most crushing song in history -

I'd make sex with RRR if the boxing link on that board worked for me -
They will always have a small place in my heart for their brutal cover of a Savatage song whos name eludes me currently. That said, Chris Barnes has destroyed the band on multiple occasions that I've heard them by having his voice on top of the mix. Not to mention doing vocal lines of parts that are clearly set out musically for leads and breakdowns. The music becomes a true backing band for a crooner that just can't croon well enough to keep it interesting or good. Plus, how much friggin weed has that cat smoked to ruin his death metal voice? He can't hardly do it anymore.

Yeah, she does have quite the thing for me.

I refuse to believe that NY Untouchable was able to become a poster that people would actually go to bat for in this manner. Last I saw his postings, I wanted to stab his face until he had no more face to stab -
Banky, did you leave a little shit ring in Mik's golden toilet when you scrubbed it? Is that what he's so bent about? See, when your betters scold you for not doing good work, you aren't supposed to talk back or defend yourself in any way. In fact, I wouldn't be suprised if this little outburst cost you a week's pay. And I think you know how hard it is to catch up on that $2 you'd be losing! Hurry up and edit this to be about someone else!

I'm serious, there is nothing negative I can say about Chris Barnes and Six Feet Under after reading this piece of news. Right now, I'm listening to the mp3 that was graciously posted with the report. The song is "Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution" and I totally gotta say they NAILED IT DOWN. The drums are spot on, and the guitars sound CRUSHING when doing AC/DC riffs. That downtuning was a really great idea IMO because, although some chords sound totally muffled, it adds a whole new BRUTALITY to this classic tune. I'm sure that the rest of the record will SLAY me like this track. Now, I've heard some people talk about the SICK vocalist Chris Barnes and how they think he's the epitome of shitty cookie cutter vocalist. NO WAY NEWB! OMG HE SHOWS TOTAL RANGE that matches so well with the bluesy style of AC/DC, a band that SFU must totally be in love with to cover their entire Back In Black album!!!! I'M TOTALLY BUYING THIS RECORD OMG!!!

Subordinates can't have their own subordinates. too much paperwork for me. So...go and be a good subordinate, doing whatever I have you do.

Hmmm, looks like that Dying Fetus and Gwar tour is being worked on for Alberta dates. Blabbermouth is reporting alberta shows, but they know fuck all about confirmations, or lack there of. Hope it goes through cuz it could be a fun show.
