  1. Your avatar certainly does. Too trippy for my tastes.
  2. Any Lethal Weapon movie, hands down. Mummy Returns too, mostly by guilty pleasure.
  3. They'll have ones for digital cable eventually.
  4. Hmm...very good point. I was talking to her today and I asked her how is she going to watch Sex and the City since we don't have HBO? She said I could watch it with her because I watch the show. Of course she mis-heard me because I said I HAVE watched the show, a few times, but I don't watch it everyweek. I'll tell her I'll watch Sex and the City if she watches either Firefly, Buffy or Angel.
  5. The girl who I am working it with, wouldn't like Firefly at all. There is only one person, my suitemate Brad, who I could get to watch the show. That is because he is REALLY into sci-fi stuff. He still plays Magic, for example.
  6. What was that from? I know LoTR's score was amazing and deserved to win.
  7. How many times have you seen the whole series?
  8. I am always off on these things, plus I haven't seen 3/4 of these movies. One year I vow to see every movie up for an Oscar nod, I said that this year but it didn't happen. Out of all my guesses for nods, the last pick is the spoiler. The italics are what I think will win. 9. I just sometimes get these thoughts in my head and write them down. If I have to write a paper and it is due the next day, I just pop an adoral and I get really motivated. Next thing I know, I have more pages then I needed and I need to cut a bunch out. I get it back a week later and I see that great B+ or A.
  10. There have been a few threads about some new members who suck, and they should be banned. What about the newbies who aren't annoying? Joe Dirt is a pretty good poster. He got on my good side last night, he made some good comments in the RR thread.

  12. Pretend it is a new episode of Firefly. River is just about to be captured by the Gentlemen lookalikes, but she over comes it and....
  13. From last night's RR: - Taker's old school bell. - Foley coming out - Benoit winning the Rumble - Everyone doing their finishers on Big Show wasn't really a mark out, but it was pretty sweet. Mark out moments from the past: - When SCSA came out during the Rock/Foley fight in 98. The glass broke, SCSA hit Rock with the chair and Foley beat Rock for his first title. All of those events were mark out moments. - Goldberg beating Hogan for the title on July 6. - Jericho making his WWF debut That is all I can think at the moment, but there are plenty of others.
  14. Retire? Yeah that makes sense. I can't remember the last time Angle has had a match below ***. If he were to retire because of his neck, then he should, but not just because. He seems to love the business too much.
  15. Thank GoD he didn't make it like Star Trek. Even though I like some sci-fi and horror shows, Star Trek has done nothing for me. And Titan A.E. did horrible in the box-office. Its budget was $75 million and only made $22 million. Ben Edlund, who also wrote some of Titan A.E., wrote "Jaynestown" and was a producer for Firefly. Plus, he wrote "Sacrifice,"Just Rewards," and "Life of the Party for Angel.
  16. I've been hearing Anglesault a year before you were a member, so it doesn't bother me.

  18. Wow, this shows how good Denver security is. How the hell did they let this go by? Did the person who looks at the x-ray machine just not notice the stun gun in her purse? Or the knife? In 1989, I was 6 coming back from Disney World, I had a box of 64 crayons in my bag. They stopped me, a 6 year old, and made me open the bag because they thought it was fireworks. And this was WAY before 9/11. But they let a women with a stun gun and knife get on a plane after 9/11? I'm not getting on a plane any time soon, plus the fact I can't afford it.
  19. UGGGGHHH, once again I can't watch Angel on Wednesday. UConn basketball will be on. Damn WB! Another reason I want to go back to school; I won't have to worry about Angel not being on. Thank GoD for Buffy.nu. I can download the episode the next day.
  20. These guys probably get more time then a rapist or murderer. Most blackboxes die within 2-3 years, but my friends has been around for 10 years.
  21. I meant to post this, but I forgot. I would have cared 6-7 years ago when I used to watch 20/20 every Friday night. Now I could care less. However, Walters could make 90% of the people she interviewed cry.
  22. Yes, it is a very good episode. After thinking about it, Bargaining makes me top ten favorite episode list.
  23. Don't bet the farm on it. a) It IS Chris Benoit b) It IS HHH I'm going to be optimistic here and say that Benoit will win the title somehow. It is just like the Sox winning the World Series; it won't happen anytime soon, but it will happen.
  24. For a long ass time, I am actually excited about the WWE product. I won't be able to stay home tonight because it is my friend Joe's last night in town before he goes to school. I will actually record Raw tonight to see what is going to happen. I know some of these events will happen on Smackdown, but the following stuff makes me want to watch WWE programs. Triple-H/HBK feud: I can't believe I am saying this, but I want to see what happens next. They have had two good matches in the past month or so, and their program has been pretty good, wel actually decent. I just want to see another good match out of them. Orton/Foley feud: Even though I hate Orton, I like seeing Foley out there doing the right thing. Foley knows that his career is long over; but he comes into put over Orton. The only problem I have with Orton is the fact is that he isn't over at all. If the man can get over, then I'll have much less of a problem with him. I just don't think Orton should have the IC right now. Maybe Foley can do something to get him over. Plus, I love Foley. Kane/Taker feud: Yes, this match will sucks balls. However, I mark out for ol' school Taker. Plus, this might be the final run for Taker because he might want to go out as his old gimmick. RVD/Booker T/Jericho: Anything, other than shampoo, about these three I like. Benoit: He won the Rumble, something big has to happen from here. His road to WM should be interesting. Cena: Whatever Cena does, I love it. He is my favorite wrestler right now, so if he is on the screen I am game. I can smell Cena winning the US title from Show pretty soon. Eddie: I don't know what direction they are going with Eddie, but I can smell Eddie getting a big push. If the rumors are true, then he'll win at NWO, which will mean we might get a good feud between the two. Angle: Even though Angle didn't win the RR, he still was made to look strong. Whatever it is, there has to be something good for Angle to do. Care to say what Anglesault? Rey/Noble: This feud isn't over yet, and their 2 seconds in the ring were pretty good. Even if the feud is over, Rey will always put on a decent match. Brock/Berg: They were building this match for WM, and I hope Brock punks Berg out. Just to show Berg he isn't the shit like he thinks he is. Bah, maybe I am wrong about this, but I am looking forward to WWE shows. We'll see what happens from here.
  25. Yes Eddie/Edge ladder match good, but a bit overrated by some. Anyway, Benoit is going to win the title one way or another. 71% of the wrestlers who won the Rumble went on to WM and won the title. RR 89: Big John Studd WM V Match: No match RR 90: Hulk Hogan WM VI: Hogan vs. UW, Hogan lost title RR 91: Hulk Hogan WM VII: Hogan vs. Sgt. Slaughter, Hogan won title RR 92: Ric Flair WMVIII: Ric Flair vs. Macho Man, Flair lost title RR 93: Yokozunna WM IX: Yokozunna vs. Bret Hart, Yokozuna won title (Can't count Hogan's title win afterwards) RR 94: Bret Hart and Lex Luger WM X: Bret Hart vs. Yokozunna, Hart won title RR 95: Shawn Michaels WM XI: Shawn Michaels vs. Diesel, Diesel retained title RR 96: Shawn Michaels WM XII: Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart. Michaels won title RR 97: Stone Cold WM XIII: RR winner didn't have WM title shot RR 98: Stone Cold WM XIV Stone Cold vs. Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold won title RR 99: Vince McMahon (SCSA beat Vince to get WM title shot) WM XV Stone Cold vs. The Rock, Stone Cold won title RR 00: The Rock WM 2000: The Rock vs. Triple-H vs. Big Show vs. Mankind, Triple-H retained title RR 01: Stone Cold WM X-7: Stone Cold vs. The Rock, Stone Cold wins title RR 02: Triple-H WM X-8: Triple-H vs. Chris Jericho, Triple-H wins title RR 03: Brock Lesnar WM X-9: Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle, Lesnar wins title RR 04: Chris Benoit WM XX: ????????? There have been 5 times that the RR winner wasn't the challenger for title at WM. RR 89, BJS didn't have a WM match RR 90, Hogan was champion when he won the RR RR 92, Flair won title by winning the RR RR 97, SCSA didn't fight for the title RR 99, Vince lost his title shot to SCSA 10 of the RR winners won the title at WM 2 of the RR winners didn't win the title at WM If you go by % then Benoit will win the title at WM.
