Could be. Democrats may jump off the Dean bandwagon and onto the Kerry bandwagon now. He served in a war, so the GOP can't call him unpatriotic or a "draft dodger." He also has served in office before, unlike Clark. I could see Kerry appealing to the center. For a while, my vote was more towards Dean than Kerry. For one thing, I didn't know too much about Kerry because the media wasn't giving him too much press, none that I saw anyway. Plus the fact that Dean was govenor of VT and I have spent a good amount of time in VT. However after seeing the news and reading about Dean's campaign, my vote was split between the two. Then Dean had that HORRIBLE speech, with him pulling a Macho Man, it was a wrap for him. Plus the fact that Kerry matches my views more than Dean does, my vote goes for Kerry.

Another site my friend just sent me is Select Smart. It gave me different results from the other site, but my vote still goes for Kerry. 1. Your ideal theoretical candidate. (100%) 2. Dean, Gov. Howard, VT - Democrat (79%) 3. Kucinich, Rep. Dennis, OH - Democrat (76%) 4. Edwards, Senator John, NC - Democrat (75%) 5. Sharpton, Reverend Al - Democrat (72%) 6. Kerry, Senator John, MA - Democrat (71%) 7. Clark, Retired General Wesley K., AR - Democrat (70%) 8. Socialist Candidate (70%) 9. Lieberman, Senator Joe, CT - Democrat (48%) 10. LaRouche, Lyndon H. Jr. - Democrat (40%) 11. Libertarian Candidate (31%) 12. Phillips, Howard - Constitution (15%) 13. Bush, President George W. - Republican (12%)

This bothers me a little bit because I see Tom Brady as a "big name" player. He was MVP in SB36, one of the top QBs in 2001, 2002 and 2003. Once again, I live in CT so maybe I biased. There is a lot of hype here about the SB, so I am not getting any of this non-hype like everyone is saying. My bet is that it is the same in the Carolina's, but that is pure speculation.

How would it stop people going to their site? They still write good articles and most people just read them and don't copy/paste them somewhere else.

I turns out I have $900 to spend, so I can get a better DV Cam and a digital camera to go along with it. What digital cameras are good?

About 6 weeks ago, I saw someone I worked with during the summer (a Camp) during a UConn game. He was one of the clowns who was screaming into the camera when they show a group of students right after a commercial. My parents have been on the news a few times about 7 years ago. They were into politics big time, so whenever something big would happen around town they would be there and sometimes new reporters would interview them. My dad used to be on local stations all the time. At his old job, working for the Groton Sub Base, they would interview him about abuse in the Navy or issues with kids in today's society (he is a Social Worker). Other than that, I can't remember anyone I know being on TV. I've been on a few times though.

Yeah I just figured that out looking at the numbers from previous years. 2000: Bush - 48.4% Gore - 49% Nader - 3% 1996: Clinton - 50.1% Dole - 41.4% Perot - 9% 1992: Clinton - 43.3% Bush - 38% Perot - 19% I was too young to remember this, but did Perot get money since he got 19% of the vote in 92? And then again in 96?
-
I know, I know. I just can't see it happening anytime soon. Nader was a pretty popular candidate, but he didn't even get that 1% vote so the Green Party would get money from the Gov't. It is 1% vote, correct? I read that Nader won't run again for President, but if were to run and Dean got the Dem. nod, then there would be no way Dean would win.

I thought McNabb was number 2...
-
No offense, but I don't see why people vote third party. A third party will NEVER win, so why vote for them?

Wow chave, we agree on something.

Well it took 4 hours to download the episode, but it was defiently worth it. 1. The first scene with Lindsay and Spike were gold. "My name is Doyle." I loved that so much. It reminded me of Angel season 1, but of course they did that on purpose. 2. Spike saving the girl, then telling her she was retard was gold. 3. All of the dream sequences were awesome. "Here you go bear." I was rolling on the floor after that comment. 4. Spike's new place looks just like Angel's place in season 1, once again they did that on purpose. 5. Gunn and Wes coming into Spike's apartment was a sweet scene. It didn't remind me of Lilah and Lindsay, but after other people said that it makes perfect sense. 6. We finally know what the tattoos mean. I wonder exactly what they say though; it must say something special. 7. I wonder if Spike will ever tell Angel and company about "Doyle" and what he is doing for Spike. You could OBVIOUSLY tell that "Doyle" isn't getting visions because he didn't seem in that much pain. Of course Spike doesn't know that, but still. 8. I love the new Gunn, nuff said. 9. Spike banging Buffy was great, too bad it wasn't SMG. 10. Joss probably said "Fuck WB, I am going to have a story arc" because story arcs are awesome. Eve saying to Angel that "Maybe you should worry about the people IN your circle" or something like that was great. Eve and Lindsay are playing the Holtz card, by trying to get to Angel through mind games and not killing him. My guess is that their plan is to have Angel loose trust in everyone, and then have him turn on someone in his "circle." I loved the shot of Angel and everyone behind him, it was a great shot. I could see them framing someone else, and having Angel kill someone. My guesses are either Lorne or Fred, those are just guesses. And David did a great job directing this episode. If his acting career suffers, I could see him becoming a director. In season 6, yes I am not saying their might be a season 6 BECAUSE THERE WILL BE, David should direct another episode. This was my favorite episode of the season, and I am loving the story arc. Joss = THE MAN.

I always wondered why Clark had glasses, he is Superman and all. I just thought he did it for a disguise. I always thought that was dumb though. If I worked (or was a friend) with Clark, then I saw Superman, I think I would be able to tell that it is the same person. But of course the glasses make him look SOOOOO different. I haven't really watched Smallville in a long time. I lost tons of interest after the first season because it just got blah to me. I remember reading in EW about the show and how season 2 was going to focus on the story-arcs instead of the "monster of the week" episodes. I started watching the show again in season 3, but it just lost my attention.

I don't know if this has been reported, but I didn't see it in the thread. From NWATNA.com Ugh, another football player to wrestler. It will help TNA get some mainstream media press, but I haven't seen anything yet. I am surprised that Around the Horn or PTI haven't said anything about this.
-
How could Hogan sue TW for that? What would he say at court? Hogan: Well Judge, they said some very mean things to me my last night in WCW. Judge: Wait, you still wrestle? I thought you would have retired 3 years ago. You have less hair then my father and he is 97. Hogan: Hey, that's mean. I am sueing you. Judge: How bout I arrest you for using roids? Hogan: Roids, what are you talking about? (While his shirt rips open because he is too big and more hair starts falling out) Anyway I don't watch TNA, but from what I have read and form what I have saw, Lynn was one of the best wrestlers in TNA. It seems like TNA is pulling a WWE because they don't know how to use a good wrestler.

And I am guessing death penalty too.

It isn't just about stats, it is about wins and what that player does for their team. Brady was a MAJOR factor for the Pats winning 14 games straight during the postseason. Brady didn't have one dominate WR, so he used everyone. Brady didn't have a dominate RB who got 1,000 yards. Bah, I am just biased because I am a Pats fan. It really doesn't matter about the Pro Bowl because Brady can just show Green, Manning and McNair the 2nd SB ring he has.

The One And Only Smackdown Thread (01/22/04)
Mole replied to Lightning Flik's topic in The WWE Folder
I am just jumping in here to say that Heel Tazz = Gold. -
I think that goes with metal also. A lot of the metal I have heard, all sounds the same to me. The only metal I like, if these bands even fit with metal catagory, are old school Korn and Slipknot. The only rap artists I like are Eminem, Outkast, and Nas. Other than that, they don't do much for me. Then again, my favorite bands are Phish, Eagles, Strangefolk and Grateful Dead, so I like a completly different type of music.

Bob, you like Bush? No way....
-
No, that won't happen. It is a good idea though, but that would make too much sense and that doesn't fit WWE logic. I could really see Orton winning the Rumble, but he isn't my pick. That would be Cena.

Who would waste the time to hack into your imagestation account to change pics?

What good is a credit card at a strip club? It isn't like you can run it up her ass crack, it just wouldn't be the same for either party involved I don't think. Then have a debt card, I am sure they have a ATM at a strip club. Hell, they have them everywhere.

Now I hope this brings back Ben's career. I can see Jersey Girl doing really well.

I was looking around on AOL's news section, and I noticed this quiz you can take that will determine which candidate fits you best. Basically it asks you the major views that concern our country, and what your belief is. It might only work if you have AOL, but try it anyway. President Match I fit best with Kucinich at 100%, but my vote is going to Kerry which matched at 91%. What did you get?
