  1. Truth. And I've noticed, at least to me, that Lawler kind of stepped up his game abit and is more bearable since Styles joined. He has to. He's scared of losing his spot.
  2. Christian Cage will be on WOL in the next hour.
  3. It's supposed to be relatively low for the first year, so he's seen as earning his position, and then it rises up after that.
  4. Like who? The policy has been in place what, 2 or 3 weeks? I haven't seen anyone shrinking in this time period. This sounds like BS news just tossed in there. It looks like whoever got that news originally was listening to Meltzer. He's noticed a lot of people changing, and it's probably small enough that you're not seeing, because the guys getting off things for real would be changing really quickly, even if it is small changes.
  5. They better get rolling soon.
  6. Still to this day, I don't understand why Triple H couldn't steal Eddie over to make him look better. Eddie was set to get a push as the face of Smackdown.
  7. well booker was SUPPOSED to win originally, but even if he did it wouldnt make the angle any less offensive or stupid (which I found it to be, more stupid than offensive, actually lazy booking) True, but at the least the payoff would have seen the racist proven wrong.
  8. He was late all the time, and because he was on a last chance deal he got fired. It also didn't help that nobody likes him. He's just a complete prick.
  9. At this point, unless the appearance is costing them a lot of money (I doubt it is), the publicity is worth it. Just the fact that there are segments about TNA being aired on news outlets gets the name out there. Now if WWE did this and it didn't increase business, then yeah, it wouldn't be worth it. It's not about the publicity being worth it or not. It's about if that publicity does anything for business. If this angle doesn't do anything for business, then it didn't work, no matter what publicity it got.
  10. Mongo was several levels worse than Roma. Roma wasn't that good, but at least he knew what he was doing in the ring. Mongo couldn't work a lick.
  11. Not since Kimberly left him.
  12. Before people start saying how the angle worked, wait until it we see if it does anything to increase business. If it doesn't do that, then all the media it got means nothing.
  13. If Chavo was offended, do you really think he'd say so on a WWE program?

  15. Yes, but hopefully there'll be less of him to be there more often.
  16. Meltzer.
  17. If some people weren't offended by the word, then that's up to them. But how can they not understand why some people would be offended by it?
  18. And one of these days I'll get around to answering you.
  19. I wonder if people like that understand that there is something called the real world out there, and, like it or not, wrestling is part of it. And when did 'edgy' become the new defense for something stupid and lame?
  20. He had Kanyon take that dive off the top of the cage at Slamboree at the same arena Owen died in just a year later. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Aha. Sorry for that oversight. Still, was it proven that he did so when he knew perfectly well where he was? Or that it would so obviously be a reference to Owen dying? So technically his death may not have inspired this angle. Maybe more like wrong place, wrong time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How could he not know where he was in he wrote that angle? It was a bad angle as it was, but doing it in the very same arena is what made it in bad taste.

  22. That you haven't heard anything about BFG yet should tell you about the buy rate for that one.
  23. Top Three: 1: Rich Franklin punching Nate Quarry into the next century at UFC 56 2: James Irvin kneeing Terry Martin's head into the stratosphere at UFC 54 3: Tim Sylvia kicking Tra Telligman's head into the nosebleed section at UFC 54
  24. As much as it takes to make up for the heat he can't get any other way.
  25. what was this? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Orton promo last October where he mentioned how he's made many virgins bleed. That wasn't in the script and Vince bitched him out backstage. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Vince wasn't angry because it wasn't in the script. He was angry because some advertising executives were backstage and he didn't want them to see or hear anything that night that might upset them and possibly cause them to stop spending money on WWE.
