My ass he's not. Dude is big and has 7 different kinds of Backne and even Chestne. He's puffy. Trust me, he's on the juice. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was watching the 2002 TPI last week, and Ken Kennedy looked like a stick insect back then. If anyone else wants to see what Kennedy looked like either off the juice or not on much of it, go get that tape.

You actually read that crap?

Wrestling fans are so used to getting attacked that it tends to prevent them from seeing that the other guy is right. Mushnick is right on this one. But you'll get few people around here able or willing to admit that.
-
I take it that 'TC' chose to ignore that, apart from being a little vehement, Mushnick was, as he almost always is with wrestling, right on the money?

Smackdown Spoilers from England...

I'd be concerned about any drugs he might be taking, especially ones that increase his chances of even more muscle tears or even something a lot more serious than that. Batista is injured anyway, he needs to time off, if only to to rehab his latest tear, so why not take the title off him here, and let him go home. -

Little over dramatic, aren't we? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe if more people had been 'over dramatic' in the last 15-20 years, a few more wrestlers might still be alive. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So everytime a wrestler is injured we should expect they're abusing pain killers? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, but when they're already pushing their body too much as it is, and Batista has a history of tearing muscles, it might not be the best idea to have them keep working. It might be a wise idea to, you know, give them a rest. Let their body heal, and let them clean up. -

If I remember correctly, it was Tenay, West and Ferrera or however you spell his name... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The correct spelling is A S S H O L E I like West, because it's almost like he's ony been half smartened up, and he comes across as an enthusiastic mark, which is good, because he obviously cares. Tenay is good, but I don't think he should be a play-by-play guy.

He is, and it is.

The bottom line is that Mushnick is more on the ball about wrestling than a lot of other, supposedly more credible mainstream reporters. Dislike what he says if you want, but he's pretty much on the ball here, as he usually is when it comes to wrestling. If people were more willing to listen to him rather than let the automatic response to defend wrestling kick in, they'd realise that.
-
He's right here as well. But it seems like some people are having a hard time accepting it. Meltzer posted this about an article Bob Ryder did that quoted what Mushnick said: Does anybody here know what Ryder said?
-
With Tenay and D'Amore having a hand, I think it's more than likely. I don't think TNA would book something like this without thinking it through.

Simple, and yet so elusive to some people.

That's why I don't think this was booking themselves into a hole. I think they may want to ease back on Monty's push, and the best way to do that, while still keeping him strong, is a loss to Christian. Monty loses, but pushes Christian to the limit.

Didn't see this noted, but the two coaches for next season of TUF will be Carlos Newton and Pat Miletich. -
Anything that requires that much explaining is too complicated. Make it simple. Say it's an elimination match, but you can't tag out. If you lose, your out, but if you win, you stay on until you get beaten, at which point you go to the back, and a team member takes your place. Continue until one team has all been beaten.

Since when is Orton on the SD team at SS? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> A combination of needing a new man, and it being too soon for the Buried Alive match. -
How about a gimmick match where two guys wrestle to see which one is better?

Or Randy Orton gets a super push. He's still owed a WM main event. -

Bret Hart, Undertaker, Kane, Mick Foley, Rock, HHH want some respect too. Did Hogan draw more as part of nWo in WCW did Austin did in WWF? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Then send them a christmas card. I think Austin drew more in the WWF, but I don't know for certain. -

I dislike Orton being Smackdown champion, but he needs to have a reign of decent length. For one thing, he needs all the help he can get to be seen as a serious heel. Also, a major title changing hands in the UK might prevent business their from dropping off, which it has started to do. -

Shouldn't this be in the WWE version of this thread, now it's stopped being about TNA?
