Another thing that irks me is that they attempt to create these brooding, mysterious and psychological characters (SOH, Jones at first, and probably now Mordechai), but they had the "look" and the mystique of Leviathan, and traded it in for plain old Dave Batista.

You mean "Sailing", Rando. Sail Away was that Enya chick. Oh and Big Country rules.

It'll probably be some DVD variant, since that's what most guys tend to use these days, although I couldn't see UT taking a move like that (you KNOW they're going to wind up feuding by like, Survivor Series at the latest).

The character of Mordechai, who debuts with a vignette tonight on Smackdown, is being played by Kevin "Seven" Fertig from OVW. Credit to Meltzer for this revelation. Should be interesting to see how one of the two "OVW Darlings" around here does. I haven't heard much in the way of the character, but Meltzer also said that he's recently gotten a look that makes him resemble Moondog Mayne.

Looks like they combined the two storylines for Luke, in that he still got hurt in the accident, but is still heading out to live with his dad (I called it!). First Anna, now Luke. Damn the writers for making these characters too likable. It seemed kinda random that Ryan would just up and kiss Marissa like that. The storyline with the restaurant has taken a nice twist too, although Caleb earned MAJOR heel points by blackmailing Marissa. Next week looks awesome. I knew we hadn't seen the last of Theresa.

Could have been worded better, agreed. I should have just said country doesn't perk my interest. I've heard enough to warrant opinion, but I can't get into that stuff.

Are you sure you aren't gay Zack? (If so call me ) Not at all. I don't judge my music based on genre. I listen to everything except country. Favorite bands range from KISS to Stabbing Westward to Bush to Sweet Sensation to NSYNC. If it's got a good sound or a good beat, I'll give it a shot. Sorry to disappoint you Mole, lol.

ABC Family were actually the ones rerunning Hang Time up until a few months ago. SBTB is on no less than four times a day on TBS. Fridays are always College Years eps, or the movies split up into episode format. I haven't seen New Class eps since USA stopped rerunning them and the show went off the air. Same goes for USA High. My local FOX affiliate showed the City Guys reruns, and then California Dreams, and now shows infomercials. Bastards. I've got the majority of the shows on tape. All I really need is The New Class, USA High, and the first season of Hang Time. -

The best were the outtakes at the end of the College Years. "Did something happen to the monkey!?" *cast cracks up* -
The majority of the stuff I listen to, as compared to what many of TSM listens to, would be a guilty pleasure. I like a lot of poppy, Top 40ish stuff. I like everyone from Britney to Xtina to NYSYNC. I have every song they did on California Dreams. However, my biggest guilty pleasure right now would probably be "The Bounce/The Luv" off of From Justin To Kelly. For some reason, the movie didn't have a soundtrack, but someone ripped the song from the DVD. I found it, and play it like there's no tomorrow.

I'd still rather hear him commentate more than either Lawler or Ross. Putting him with Cole would be hysterical also because you know Heenan would just rip on him the whole show.

Was Goldust nearly WWF Champion?
Zack Malibu replied to Danville_Wrestling's topic in General Wrestling
When he returned as Goldust in '98 (the Val Venis feud), I read on Scoops or somewhere that they were going to test him out as a main event face. Of course he was soon tagging along with The Blue Meanie and tangled in that lovely "Who's Ryan Shamrock fucking this week?" storyline, so I guess they gave up on that. As a heel champion in '96, it DEFINITELY could have worked. You could have had Bret do the big comeback and say that he wasn't going to sit by and watch the company be represented by someone like that. It might have delayed the Bret/Austin feud a bit, but it would have worked, for sure. -
Why is it that every time I turn on the radio, I hear the same five songs, fifteen times a day, for three months? Man, FUNK DAT~!

But Eevie was an alien, that's why she could do it. -
No one I've seen ever fully recovered. In my old TNA game, Jay Briscoe (seems he's always getting hurt in these games, as he was injured badly in my current ROH game causing me to can him) got a neck injury and was out for a year, with his stats dropping between the 40's and 60's depending on which one it was. Before I wound up dropping that game, he was only at like 68 for his highest stat after having been at something like 61.

I enjoyed The College Years, but agreed, it was tough to go from "sweet and innocent Kelly Kapowski" to "sleeping with her teacher" Kelly Kapowski. Funny you mention NYPD Blue, because my parents love that show and always told me to watch it, and I never caught it until the last few years when Mark-Paul had joined up. I did NOT like the first New Class, with Scott Erickson, "Weasel", etc. Too much of a copycat of the original (tough guy and prep fighting for girl, nerd in love with the black girl, etc.) The second one was OK, with Brian, Bobby and Rachel joining up. The third season is probably when people were able to get into the characters more, as instead of "hey, I've always been at Bayside, you just never saw me!" they gave the storyline of the Valley transfers needing to fit in with the rival school. Ryan Parker was probably the best, most fleshed out character in the entire New Class run. Then you had them evolve on the "stepbrother from New York" storyline that they did with Jesse, except this time it was Ryan's stepbrother Nicky, and he became part of the series. They also attempted to work out a long distance relationship between Ryan and Rachel (once she was off the show) as it gave an explanation for her not being there, rather than "oh the girl I've been dating for years just magically upped and moved away". I didn't like it much towards the end though, when they brought in that kid Tony, and the focal point of the show was mostly on Maria. Also, The New Class is responsible for the only TNBC crossover, that being the Space Camp episodes with the Hang Time cast, where Mary Beth kissed Ryan (a flashback of this is shown in a Hang Time ep as well). -
Short, pushed to the front with mussy spikes (sort of "bed head"-ish). I have insanely thick and wavy hair, and was getting tired of the "surfer" 'do, so I cut it down about 2 months ago and love it. Much easier to maintain.

What did I say? And I'm digging ALL the girls in Mean Girls. Grrrr~!
