That Orton/Undertaker idea is a good one, but I have a feeling we won't see that until the draft lottery '05, where tentative plans have Orton being switched to SD!

What about Orton/Hogan? They could just do Batista/Triple H straight up in the main event, and in the build to WM, have Orton growing frustrated at his inability to capture the belt again. Then Hogan comes in and "rains on his parade" by getting all the attention on him again, so Orton goes into Legend Killer mode again, punks Hogan out, and gets a match with him at WM. This could set up Randy/Batista as a title feud down the line, with Batista playing monster face and Orton the cocky heel who knows his weak points.

They should have Regal say that he's not giving up the belts without a fight, and tell Bischoff that he's willing to go it alone until Eugene gets better. Give him a few wins in handicap situations (La Rez, heck even do a Triple H/Batista angle where Triple H figures winning the tag belts will help them bond, only to screw themselves in the end and add fuel to Dave's fire) before succumbing to Christian/Tomko or Hassan/Daivari. That way you don't have to vacate the belts, worry about a tournament, and progress Regal's badass Brit character a little bit.

That's odd to hear that, since I was figuring Show/Rey could team up during Van Dam's absence. I'd be for that team.
