Heh, I got the poster for See No Evil the other day. I framed it and put t up right next to my poster for The Wizard

So I returned home from my trip to Washington DC to find in my mailbox a letter from the Jury Administration telling me I have to appear in April. Due to school / work reasons, I wrote in to defer it until the summer time, but my question is, have any of you ever had to go or even serve on a jury? I really have no desire to serve, so what's the best way to get out of it? A guy I work with told me that his friend had to go, and tried telling them that he hates niggers and faggots, and didn't end up having to serve, but was forced by the court to attend anger managment classes instead. I'm thinking maybe telling them I'm a Jehovah's Witness and it would be against my beliefs to serve, but they probobly get that a lot too, and have ways to find out if you're full of shit or not. What do you guys think?

Both Meltzer and Scherer have plainly stated that there will be more roster cuts after Wrestlemania, which seems a bit silly to me considering how thin they are in the first place. Whether this is the big announcement set for Monday or not, it's coming. I figure they'll probobly dump Tomko Snitsky Viscera Scotty Richards (Yeah, he's survived this long, but they've been paying him to sit at home for too long) Victoria If she hadn't been injured, Ashley Scotty Daivari The Bashams Jillian Hall Vito and Sylvain

I know it's only been about 7 or 8 months since the last draft since WWE did it so late last year, but do you think that WWE should do more rostr change ups this year? I think the main event positions on both shows are fine, especially after Angle was shuffled back to Smackdown, but if they do decide to do a draft this year, who do you think would benefit most from the move? I would say Move to Smackdown Shawn Michaels Kane Eugene Ric Flair Chavo Move to RAW Rey Mysterio JBL Lashly Ken Kennedy Boogeyman What do you think?

Only five networks next year? Think again.

This channel will probobly take the place of the extra network slot which will be open on most cable systems when UPN and WB merge to become one network. -
That doesn't matter, Matt Morgan, Mark Jindrak, Maven, Haas, and Spike Dudley were all in the midst of either coming off of angles or in the middle of minor pushes on TV and were all dumped. Ashley will be dumped when her contract is up, if not before that. Mark Henry will stick around. A guy like him is always useful, even if he can't work a lick, he's still fucking huge, and that has at least some value, maybe not a 10 year multi million dolalr contract, but still it's something.

Would anyone happen to have the Savage vs Flair Rematch from September 92 where Flair wins the title back?

Why does WWE continue to waste valuable television time by giving five minutes to make two non-workers attempt to put on a match? Seriously, maybe it's just some sort of inside joke between the boys backstage and the writers, but even that's not funny anymore, it's time to retire the womens belt. That Ashley vs Torrie match last night was so bad it was astonishing. Trish Stratus and VIctoria are the only women with even an ounce of wrestling ability on the roster, and one is stuck in a rediculous lesbian angle, and Victoria is hardly even seen anymore. Even Alexis Laree who was pretty good in OVW seems to have had her ability greatly diminish as her boob size increase. Just give up on the women, it kills the live crowds, and it serves no useful purpose whatsoever. Yes, I understand that there are so many problems with WWE right now, that this kind of stuff is totally off the radar, but it's also one of the most glaring problems every week.

The argument that the women wrestle for T&A purposes is not a good one. There are much more effective ways to accomplish gratuitous T&A without having to put on terrible matches which expose the buisness, like mud wrestling matches or pillow fights, or just random take off your clothes in the middle of the ring for no reason segments that would serve the same purpose. If WWE was being completely blunt about the fact that this is the only reason these women exist, and for nothing else, that's fine, but putting them in the ring and attempting to work a match is not only bad, it's insulting to the people that really can wrestle. Obviously someone somewhere thinks it's a good idea to keep allowing Ashley to wrestle every week even though she gets worse and worse each time she steps in the ring.

I'd assume this will end up being another Funeral angle.

Hannity is basically the Republicans answer to someone like Al Franken. I think Homer Simpson put it best when he said "Facts are meaningless, they can be used to prove anything." The social issues that guys like Hannity, O'Reilly, Michael Moore, Al Franken, and others blather on about are never as black and white as they make them out to be. So yeah, a Conservative is going to only going to point to evidence that backs up his point, and is going to try and ignore any counter evidence. Same thing, a liberal like Franken or Moore will only cite evidence which backs up their views, and will ignore or attempt to discredit any contrary evidence, and then will attempt to discredit the conservative by pointing to that contrary evidence and say he's a moron. I personally think both sides make good points on a lot of issues, but in the end, the Conservatives get more respect from me, because they rarely resort to smear tactics to weaken their opponents arguments and try to strengthen their own. The Liberals it seems are always on the attack, writing 300+ page diatribes about how Sean Hannity is an idiot and Bill O'Reilly is satan himself, while not really making much of a substantial point themselves. Guys like Franken and Bill Mahr just come off as whiny jerks, angry because no one gives them any respect. Sure, guys like Hannity are just shills for the Republican Party, but they also are just preaching to the choir. If you don't agree with what the guy is saying, then you probobly aren't listening to watching anyway, so what does it matter?

My earliest memory of going to the movies was seeing the film "The Adventures of Milo and Otis", probobly somewhere around 1989 or 1990. I still hold the film dear to my heart due to the childhood memory, but I was a tad disheartened when I learned many years later that it was in fact an edited version of a Japanese film where the animals may have been treated a little less then humane, oh well.

Hey, I'm still trying to fill in some holes in my tape collection, which hasn't been catalouged in ages. There's a few WWF Shows I'm missing, and tons of WCW stuff I don't have, at the top of my list of things I need are: The Big Event Royal Rumble 1988 Good Quality IYH 2 IYH 4 Entire Show IYH 5 Entire Show (I have the Coliseum Video which has clipped versions of both these shows edited together) IYH Good Friends, Better Enemies IYH Mind Games IYH It's Time IYH Final Four IYH Takers Revenge IYH A Cold Day in Hell Over the Edge 1999, good quality WCW Stuff I need Starrcade 1989 Starrcade 1994 Starrcade 1995 Halloween Havoc 89 thru 92 Slamboree 1993 Fall Brawl 1993, 1995, 1996 Souled out 1997 Great American Bash 1991 Original PPV Airing Great American Bash 1992, 1995 Capitol Combat WCW Greed WCW Sin I have plenty of stuff to trade, including plenty of mid to late 80's NWA / WCW Stuff, and just about every other WWE Pay Per View that isn't listed. Other interesting things I'd be willing to trade include When Worlds Collide, Collision in Korea, and the 1996 House Show where the Kliq breaks character.

King of the Hill is a strange one, people either like it or they don't. If you like it, then it's hilarious, if you don't like it, then no amount of convincing will ever possibly make you think otherwise. I happen to like it, but I know tons of people who don't, so whatever.
-
All the shows were awful last night. King of the Hill had a particularly awful episode which is unusual since they've been consistantly good these past few seasons. The Simpsons was the usual piece of shit these last few seasons have been. As you said about Family Guy, the sub-plot was great, but the rest of the episode was terrible.

The only thing that's missing is Eugene's time int he Rumble

I was thinking tonight, WWE has done some fucked up storylines and has basically scrapped the bottom of the barrel as far as bad, tasteless, and offensive angles, gimmicks, and storylines go, but the one line that I don't think has ever been crossed by Vince or any promoter for that matter is a wrestler with a White Supremacy gimmick. The reasons why you wouldn't do such a thing are obvious, but in context with all the other fucked up shit they've done, one would almost be surprised that they haven't thought of trying it yet. Is it only a matter of time before one of the WWE writers fines the right jacked up white guy who's willing to wear a hood and a robe to ringside, or is that the one line that even Vince isn't stupid enough to cross?

Meh, the fact that for the monet it's only Arcades doesn't excite me at all. I can't think of anyplace anymore that has an up to date arcade anywhere IU've been int he past 2 or 3 years or so. The couple of Dave and Busters I've been to were mostly redemption games, sit down racers, and retro stuff, and all the other Arcades I've been to are even less updated then that. Even when I was in Manhatten in September, the one place I would expect there to be a decent Arcade with newer titles, I saw nothing, no arcades to be found anywhere outside of ESPN Zone that has the same garbage casual gamer games that everyone else had. Does anyone anywhere have an up to date arcade near them anymore?

I gladly would, but I don't have much to put on there. I have all of the important shows on tape from 1997, but none of the TV Stuff that would connect it all. Yeah, I have a copy of Rumble 1988 as well, but it's like a one hundreth generation master, and isn't even watchable. I know it was released commercially in the UK, but a decent quality version is this country is tough becasue just about all the collectors got a copy from the the same source it seems. What kind of shows do you have with The Hitman? I've got all the Major PPV stuff on tape, WM 13, KOTR 97, Calgary Stampede, Summerslam 97, Survivor Series 97, so I can get you anything you want off those shows.

Is there any legitimate possibility of NBC just flat out canceling SNL, or is it just a sacred cow that's immune from anythig, no matter how bad it gets?
-
In the nearly 4 years I've worked in the theater buisness, I've seen some real stinkers. The only one that truely sticks out in my head as being so overwhelmingly bad that I truely felt I was wasting my time and doing myself a disservice by watching it, and thus walked out was last years film "Boogeyman"
-
Only person I could think of would be Tatanka, so maybe.

They did the same thing last year. A bunch of guys who lost qualifier matches were still in the Rumble. Both rosters are so thin now that just about everyone on both sides will be in the match.
