Like the Kurt Angle, Chyna, Lita, and Hary Boyz books before it, Edge's career really hasn't been long enough for him to have a particularly enthralling story for wrestling fans to get into. If the library gets a copy, I'll read it, but otherwise I pass,

Metal Slug 3 is awesome totally awesome, get that. I thnk though that Im the only man on earth who feels that the Sonic games have aged terribly and don't hold up well at all by todays standards.

Sean Hannity is defintily your grade A Rebpublican flag waver, not that there's anything wrogn with that. His radio and TV show is great if you're a Republican and agree with most of his views, just don't go looking for objective insight and analysis Bill O'Reilly is an interesting guy. I think he's unfairly trahsed a lot of the time, and while he does have his flaws, he's really good at exposing most of his guests as the frauds they all are Bill Maher is probobly the only liberal I can tolerate. His late show was horrid, but his 50 appearences every month on the late night talk shows are fairly entertaining, even if I don't agree with him Michale More isn't even worth the effort to describe him. Scumbag all the way Al Franken is that guy at parties who laughs at his own jokes, even when most of them aren't even funny. His last book is 200+ pages of mud slinging which he presents as facts, but hides under the veneer of satire when questioned. His book had no central point other then "Republicans are evil, and I hate Bill O'Reilly" Michael Savage is just so completely over the top that you can't help but listen to his radio show and read his books just to se what he'll say next. Defenitly a guilty pleasure.

I believe it was explained that Cactus Jack demanded the match be non-title, because the match wasn't about the title and that it really didn't matter as much to him as beating Vader did.

He claims he said "goofs" but got tongue-tied. Suuuuuure, that's what he wants you to think

It was PWI who voted Jannetty vs Michaels MOTY for 1993. It's not like there's a whole lot of choices in the WWF for that year. It's really either this or Hart vs Perfect.
-
British Bulldog vs Shawn Miachels is an easy **** match, and the Marty Jannetty match was match of the year for 1993.

The Surviiiiiiiiiiiivor Seriiiiiiiiiiiiiies Thread

1.) Favorite world title match at the PPV? Hands down Bob Backlund vs Bret Hart 2.) Favorite SSeries team elimination match? Since I just watched the show last week, I'll go with Razor / 123 Kid / Marty / Savage vs Martel / Adam Bomb / IRS / Diesel from 1993. I'm sure there are better matches, but I was jsut really getting into that match. 3.) Favorite face / heel (or both) SSeries team assembled? THe Foreign Fanatics and the All Americans from the 1993 show, just for the childhood memories 4.) Favorite non-world title, non-team battle match other than Austin / Hart? None come straight to mind.... 5.) Favorite segment? Diesel throwing the tag title in the trash after the opening match in 1994 6.) Things you hated besides the Montreal Screwjob? Those matches with the tag teams they did at the first 2 shows that everyone seems to love. They have very little flow, and are generally just very very long. -
The only thing good about MTV 2 is Beavis and Butthead repeats on late night weekends, although lately it seems they've been repeating the same episodes over and over. VH1 Classic is where it's at.

The only PPVs I purchased this year were No Way Out and Backlash. No Way Out I bought just so I could see Eddie finally win the title. The Foley vs Orton feud is what sold Backlash to me. I was fully convinced that I was going to see someone die that night. I also shelled out close to 200 dolars for a pair of seats to Vengeance.

Meh, I have a master copy of the VHS and it's essentially the same thing at this release.

The Rock could easily sign a contract with TNA for chicken scratch, but demand a vast majority of the revenue from merchandise sales and a certain percentage from ticket sales and eventually once the promotion gets bigger, likely break even with whatever downside guarantee he'd pick up from WWE.

I'm 90% sure the trailer is going to be attached to The Incredibles, so look for it in just a few weeks. -
I thought this would be an interesting discussion. Not being well versed in theology myself, I thought I'd get the opinion oh those who might be. Do you feel based on their doctrine and beliefs and the Mormons and / or Jehovah's Witness' are a cult, or a legitimate branch of the blankenetd term we call Christianity. I am not familliar with the beliefs and practices of the Witness', but from what I know about Mormons, I fully beleive they are a cult. Joseph Smith was a con man, even people in his own time said that. His doctrine should have been declared bullshit the second he revealed he was unable to reporduce the original translation of his tablets. Unlike the more steamline Christianity, there is no historical or archaeological evidence to back up any of the claims made in the Book of Mormon. I can say with a reletive amount of assurance, that the Garden of Eden was not in Missouri, Jesus did not travel to America, he did not have multiple wives, he's not brothers with Satan, and there are only only one true group of people which can be referred to as Israelites, and the Mormons aren't it. Plus, any religion which requires mandatory donations in order to remain in good standing reeks of a cult to me. What do you think?

I liked Kurt best during his first run from his debut untill his first World Title Run.
